小学高年级是小学生学习习惯、态度逐渐定型的重要阶段,学业拖延现象对他们的心理发展非常不利。选取30名时间管理能力差及学业拖延严重的学生,以时间管理为切入点设计团体干预方案,对他们进行为期8周,每周一次的团体辅导,进而检验时间管理团体辅导对小学高年级学生学业拖延行为的干预效果。数据结果表明,时间管理团体辅导可降低小学高年级学生学业拖延程度。  相似文献

大学生对朋辈心理辅导的角色认知对正确开展朋辈辅导具有重要的意义。通过对大学生的调查,结果发现大学生认为保密是朋辈辅导的首要原则,真诚可信是辅导员第一素质,54.2%认为成为义务朋辈员是为了帮助别人,35.4%认同朋辈辅导比专业心理辅导有优势,39.7%认同朋辈辅导就是解决问题。大学生对朋辈辅导的角色认知很大程度上符合朋辈辅导的性质,这些认识为朋辈心理辅导员的培训和督导提供重要的参考。  相似文献

目的 探讨班主任参与班级生涯团体辅导对应用型本科院校工科类大学生职业生涯规划的作用。方法以金陵科技学院机电工程学院2017级机械设计制造及其自动化2个平行班学生为研究对象,将1班定为实验班(N=36),2班定为对照班(N=37)。在大二上学期开始对实验班进行班级生涯团体辅导,为期三年,对照班不做干预。结果 1班经班级生涯规划团体辅导后,各个维度都有明显提高。实验班与对照班除在自我认知维度上差异不显著外,在职业认识等四个维度上达到了差异显著性水平。学生毕业季访谈发现,实验班学生有了较清晰的职业生涯发展定位与目标;就业大数据显示,实验班的就业质量与数量都比对照班高。结论 班级生涯规划团体辅导对应用型本科院校工科类大学生的职业生涯规划有积极的促进作用。  相似文献

全国高校开展公共课《大学生职业发展与就业指导》已十余年时间,在具体实施过程中存在以理论讲解为主,学生参与性、互动性较低,收获较少等问题。生涯团体辅导活动的互动性、探究性、参与性有助于弥补大学生职业生涯规划课程的不足。该研究试图将生涯团体辅导融入高校职业生涯规划课程,采用问卷调查、实验法、测量法、个案访谈法等,对参加生涯团体辅导式职业生涯规划课的20名大学生进行辅导前后的对比与访谈。研究结果表明,辅导后大学生在职业兴趣、能力评价、职业决策与目标稳定性上均好于辅导前。通过个案访谈发现团辅活动的趣味性消解了课堂的乏味性,游戏性激发了学生的潜能,互动性帮助学生明晰了目标。总之,生涯团体辅导融入职业生涯规划课程,提升了学生在课堂中的参与感、获得感。  相似文献

This study examines the association between unemployment, Medicaid provisions, the mental health industry, and adult suicides in nine US northeastern states from 1999 to 2009. Results show that increased unemployment is associated with more Medicaid beneficiaries and higher health care spending per beneficiary with no significant relationship with Medicaid mental health spending. The Medicaid beneficiary rate is positively associated with the number of mental health clinics, mental health and substance abuse social workers, mental health counselors, and psychiatrists, with no significant association with mental health physician offices or psychologists. Unemployment is also related with increasing suicide rates for the overall population and White non-Hispanics, aged 16–64, with the worst association for White non-Hispanic males. The composition of the mental health industry is also associated with suicide rates. Maintaining an appropriate mix of mental health facilities and professionals to prevent, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders remains a critical public health challenge.  相似文献

In Australia, it is widely believed that most homeless people have mental health issues and that mental illness is a primary cause of homelessness. This paper uses information from a study of 4,291 homeless people in Melbourne to investigate these propositions. The research found that 15 per cent of the homeless had mental health issues prior to becoming homeless. This challenges the community perception that mental illness is the primary cause of homelessness. The research also found that 16 per cent of the sample developed mental health issues after becoming homeless. Homelessness causes mental health issues for some people, particularly anxiety and depression. The claim that most homeless people are mentally ill sends the wrong message to policy makers about the services that are needed to assist homeless people.  相似文献

The personal, economic, and social costs of mental ill health are increasingly acknowledged by many governments and international organisations. Simultaneously, in high-income nations, the reach of welfare conditionality has extended to encompass many people with mental health impairments as part of on-going welfare reforms. This is particularly the case in the UK where, especially since the introduction of Employment and Support Allowance in 2008, the rights and responsibilities of disabled people have been subject to contestation and redefinition. Following a review of the emergent international evidence on mental health and welfare conditionality, this paper explores two specific issues. First, the impacts of the application of welfare conditionality on benefit claimants with mental health impairments. Second, the effectiveness of welfare conditionality in supporting people with experience of mental ill health into paid work. In considering these questions, this paper presents original analysis of data generated in qualitative longitudinal interviews with 207 UK social security benefit recipients with experience of a range of mental health issues. The evidence suggests that welfare conditionality is largely ineffective in moving people with mental health impairments into, or closer to, paid work. Indeed, in many cases, it triggers negative health outcomes that make future employment less likely. It is concluded that the application of conditionality for people with mental health issues is inappropriate and should cease.  相似文献

Without appropriate support, people with mental illness can be excluded from stable housing and social and community participation. Transitional models of support for people with acute mental illness have addressed clinical symptoms and hospitalisation, but they have not facilitated stable housing and community integration. In contrast, individualised housing models aim to improve mental health, housing and community outcomes. These programs are costly and require collaboration between agencies. This article discusses the evaluation findings of one such program – the NSW Mental Health Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI). The longitudinal mixed‐method evaluation assessed whether HASI supported people with high levels of psychiatric disability to improve housing, mental health and community participation. We discuss the challenges clients within the program faced prior to joining HASI and the changes experienced while in HASI. We conclude by drawing policy implications for programs supporting people with mental illness to live in the community.  相似文献

There is increasing evidence that the COVID-19 pandemic has had substantial mental health impacts for adolescents. Yet, few definitive studies have investigated which adolescents were at higher risk of poor mental health and well-being during the pandemic. Data were drawn from the Childhood to Adolescence Transition Study, a prospective cohort study of students in Australia (N = 1211). Prevalence of mental health outcomes (depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, self-harm and good subjective well-being) was estimated in school Years 5–12, where Years 11 (2020) and 12 (2021) coincided with the pandemic. The age- and sex-adjusted relative risk of each mental health outcome for each priority group during the pandemic were estimated. During the pandemic, over 50% of study participants reported depressive symptoms, and one quarter reported anxiety symptoms. There was a decrease in good subjective well-being compared with pre-pandemic years, while self-harm prevalence remained similar. History of mental health problems, school disengagement and frequent peer victimisation increased the risk of experiencing mental health problems during the pandemic. Schools play a central role in maintaining the mental health and good subjective well-being of students, and this is particularly important during periods of social disruption, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.  相似文献

Despite high rates of mental illness, very few homebound older adults receive treatment. Comorbid mental illness exacerbates physical health conditions, reduces treatment adherence, and increases dependency and medical costs. Although effective treatments exist, many home health agencies lack capacity to effectively detect and treat mental illness. This article critically analyzes barriers within the Medicare home health benefit that impede access to mental health treatment. Policy, practice, and research recommendations are made to integrate mental health parity in home health care. In particular, creative use of medical social work can improve detection and treatment of mental illness for homebound older adults.  相似文献
