Quality management and quality assurance in coaching Presently, there is an apparent discrepancy between the demand for and the lack of quality discussion in coaching. In both the professional continuing education or staff development respectively and in psychotherapy these quality discussions have been led for a long time. These quality discussions are investigated according to a benchmarking. This article aims at transferring applicable knowledge from these working fields to coaching. Additionally it is focused on minimal standards in coaching which are already recognizable. Finally, conclusions are drawn with regard to urgent objectives around quality management in coaching which have to be achieved in future.  相似文献

The bad-news-dialogue. Adequate communication in view of hopelessnessFrom the refusal of a request for advanced training up to the dismissal without notice thousands of bad messages are to be delivered in the professional context every day. In the most cases superiors are responsible for it. Many persons concerned seize on inadequate means of communication for reasons of self protection and helplessness. The presented four-phase model defines clarity and bearableness as most important dialogue goals and brings them with one another in agreement. In 2004 a new working time law for physicians in hospitals was introduced, which has up until now been rarely researched in theory and is implemented in practice partially in form of new working time models, partially by relying on allowed variation rules within the law. Meanwhile, there are new discussions about changes of working time directives on the European level. This article aims to analyze the desired effects of the new working time law to decrease the workload, improve the possibilities of patient care and increase the working time satisfaction of physicians. To this end, a primary data collection is conducted in 15 hospitals and 35 hospital departments, generating 261 questionnaires, in order to empirically assess the theoretical model with the constructs working time model, workload, working time satisfaction, and possibilities of patient care using regression analyses. It can be shown that the new working time models decrease workload and enhance working time satisfaction of hospital physicians, but have no significant influence on the possibilities of patient care. These results are consistent for different ownerships and sizes of hospitals as well as for most services. No significant differences in the answers between various physician groups exist either.  相似文献

There is only poor research and psychological orientated application of spirituality in the field of coaching in Germany. Addressing the sacred in coaching or counseling is a kind of taboo in Germany. We need to define the term of spirituality and we have to find ways how spirituality could be integrated even in coaching training and coaching practice—not in a popular way but in way that is psychological orientated and evidence based. There is a lot of research that shows clear benefits of integrating a spiritual perspective in psychotherapy and medicine. Could we assume the same benefits for coaching clients?  相似文献

Coaching as an instrument of staff development is becoming increasingly popular. The different coaching concepts comprehend praxeological and methodological orientations, and their metatheoretical base often remains largely unreflected. This paper situates coaching as a distinct profession with a stand-alone approach within the sciences. In the sense that coaching processes transcend conflicts and presented topics on underlying needs attributed to significant connection points to the theories Johan Galtung and the “capability approach” resulting in the tradition of Amartya Sen and Martha Nussbaum. This is preceded by a meta-theoretical localization of the process of a praxeology of coaching.  相似文献

In the software industry, as well as in numerous other technology industries, products are often offered as systems consisting of complementary components. In such systems, specific components take on the role of software platforms. This development can be observed as well in the Business-to-Consumer (e.g. Apple with the AppStore) as in the Business-to-Business context (e.g. salesforce.com with AppExchange). This article analyzes the optimal degree of compatibility of a vendor’s platform with the complementary components of competitors. Based on a simulation study it is shown that an increase in compatibility of the platform implies a higher diffusion of the platform, but on the other hand, reduces the effect of an implemented platform on the user’s choice regarding complementary components. In sum a slightly increased—but not complete—compatibility maximizes the degree of diffusion of the acting vendor.  相似文献

In this paper, the value of tax loss carryforwards is calculated using a modified arithmetic brownian motion for the taxable base. A formula for valuing tax loss carryforwards within a one period context is derived. A Monte-Carlos Simulation based on our findings leads to a valuation of tax loss carryforwards in a multiperiod setting and yields reasonable results. The methodology can also be used to value tax shields in a situation with an interest barrier as it is the case in the German tax system.  相似文献

Personal linkages between the biggest German corporations is subject to a special survey by the Monopolies Commission every two years. We use linkage data ranging from 2000–2006 to examine the impact of personal linkage on the compensation of management board members. The empirical analysis reveals a positive relation between compensation of management board members and the amount of corporation-linkages by additional supervisory board mandates of members of the management board. At the same time, the performance of the sending firms has no influence on the likelihood to receive further supervisory board seats.  相似文献

The author discusses how workplace-related phenomena with a high socio-emotional pressure like burn out or workplace bullying relate to the leadership quality or leadership culture of an organisation. Workplace bullying and burn out are thus not understood as mere individual problems but rather are analyzed in an organisational context. The hypothesis developed in this article is that leadership quality can make a considerable contribution to preventing workplace bullying and burn out. The author develops a frame of action at which intervention levels and with what intervention forms one can pro-actively and preventively counteract workplace bullying and burn out.  相似文献

This article explores “self-reflexivity” as a key competence and general attitude in all contexts of coaching and supervision. Three main perspectives are used approaching self-reflexivity: the “where from”, “what for” and “how-to”. Thus starting from etymology the importance of the subject in the practice of coaches and counselors is explored. Based on two models it is shown what kind of interaction between client and coach is beneficial when wanting to activate self-reflexivity. The economic pressure weighting on social organizations is ever increasing. Leadership coaching supports smaller operating agencies in implementing social management, in integrating an appropriate leadership strategy and in taking measures allowing them to survive in times of scarce resources. The introduction of patterns of economic thinking and action is often perceived as a threat and is considered to be incompatible with the traditional values of social work. Summary  If the valuation of risky cash flow streams is independent of transactions in a perfect money market (as required in the so-called risk analysis), this does neither imply value additivity of the certainty equivalent with respect to additive constants, i.e. cash holdings, nor with respect to multiplicative constant, i.e. the capital structure of the investor. But both, constant absolute and constant relative risk aversion, i.e. value additivity with respect to additive and multiplicative constants, respectively, can be consistent with money market invariance. However, value additivity regarding additive constants implies money market invariance.

He points to important aspects of the narratology, theory of cognition and theory of coaching. He makes clear what can be achieved through stories in this context and gives pragmatic tips for a successful input of this form of intervention. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden in einer eigenschaftsorientierten Betrachtung zun?chst die Komponenten der Output-Flexibilit?t identifiziert, um dann darauf aufbauend ein Kalkül zur Gestaltung der Output-Flexibilit?t von Dienstleistungsunternehmungen abzuleiten.
Summary  Output flexibility enables the service provider to cope with both uncertainties in demand and the external production factor. This paper aims at formulating a calculus for the design of output flexibility based on production theory. The interpretation of services as specific problem solutions serves as a basis for a feature-oriented modelling of service production.
