Dear Women of China,
I＇m interested in your magazine, but there＇s no way for me to get copies of it where I live. I see that your website has an electronic version of the magazine, but it＇s only one issue, it＇s a few months old, it＇s difficult to read （because you have to wait for the pages to enlarge）, and you have to click on the pages to flip them back to the table of contents or reload the whole page. It＇s extremely aggravating and not at all easy for readers to use.

I＇m delighted to write a column in Women of China English Monthly. I really enjoyed your article on how to be a happy, single Chinese woman on Valentine＇s Day. I＇m not Chinese, but I still found the message in your article both encouraging and meaningful. It＇s great that you focused on emotional as well as physical health, and that you reminded people that being single on Valentine＇s Day can still be lots of fun.

Dear Women of China, I＇ve had the pleasure of having dinner with my Chinese girlfriend＇s family a few times in the past, but each time they urged me to drink lots of alcohol. I understand that it＇s their way of welcoming and encouraging me to feel comfortable around them, but I＇m not very fond of drinking. However, every time I try to refuse a drink, they keep insisting that I drink anyway, until I give up trying to convince them. Now, I＇m uneasy about having more dinners with them.

I think you can spice up your layout.For me,there is just too much text,and too few

Of all the well-known Western authors who have written about China, Peter Hessler has to be the most eloquent and endearing. His third and final novel on China, Country Driving： A Journey Through China from Farm to Factory, is intended to reveal the great changes that the country＇s rapid urbanization, growing automobile industry and frenzied thoroughfare construction has had on the lives of the people with whom he has met and cultivated relationships.

Dear Women of China Thank you for a wonderful September issue. The cover photo was both sad and uplifting. I was drawn by the little boy＇s determined face and the title mentioning Zhouqu. I knew it had to be some kind,of disaster, and reading about the relief efforts and the people affected was touching. In the past two years, China has seen quite a few natural disasters. I wonder what may have caused these problems to begin with. I hope that the people in China will have safer futures.
