经济学作为一门实证科学,理应以实证方法为主对其进行研究,然而,新古典主义学派源于对古典经济学的经验方法、完全归纳法的改进,对劳动价值理论的批判等,他们逐渐发展了以抽泉分析、逻辑演绎为基本方法。该文旨在介绍演绎主义方法论在西方主流经济学中的生成与演进,并指出这种方法论发展到极至将导致经济学——作为一门实证科学——与其本质相背了。  相似文献

本文首先简要地回顾了近20年来公司治理机制和公司业绩之间实证研究的矛盾发现。提出导致这种结果的主要原因是已有的实证研究在方法论上存在缺欠;研究内容过于局限在对单一治理机制的作用进行分析,而对多种治理机制的互动性缺乏研究。本文倡导建立一种公司治理研究的“均衡观”。  相似文献

在国内外学术界,管理学研究都出现了某种程度的"黑板化"倾向.尽管关于管理理论与实践脱节的问题比较复杂,但其本质上是一个研究方法论问题.从布里奇曼的基于操作主义的实证研究方法论的视角来看,可以将管理理论与实践脱节的"黑板管理学"的来源总结为以下3个原因:概念没有很好定义导致无法测量的"泛量表式研究"、概念分解中的"伪还原"以及忽视研究结论可操作性的"管理解释学".  相似文献

基于知识图谱理论和扎根理论的方法指导,以中文社会科学引文检索数据库收录的1998~2019年期间,与中国管理研究以及理论构建相关的561篇施引文献和7108篇被引文献作为研究对象。通过运用Citespace V可视化软件,进行中国管理研究与理论构建的知识基础、研究热点和主题演进脉络等的可视化分析与研究;并进一步精选了116篇科技文献为样本数据进行三级扎根编码,构建中国管理理论的研究框架模型。研究表明:中国管理研究目前聚焦于理论构建范式的研究主题,构建中国管理理论要直面实践导向,扎根传统文化,实现实践与文化的融合,要采用多元科学方法论与方法,辩证地使用实证研究方法。  相似文献

在经济学中,实证理论被认为是一种"科学",而规范理论是一种"艺术"。管理实证理论解释与预测管理现象,它回答管理科学问题;管理规范理论是为达到目标而提出的行动规则,它解决管理现实问题。规范理论因为要在各种复杂的条件下选择一种"可行"的方案,在很多情况下逼迫人们放弃"科学的方法"。仅有实证理论,管理学的框架就是支离破碎的,无法直接用于解决管理的现实问题,因此,管理规范研究和规范理论有其独立存在的价值。中国本土管理实践中的现实问题与矛盾的解决需要"规范研究",在实证至上的情境下谈理论与实践的脱节本身就是一个伪问题。由于实证研究以探索普遍规律为目的,因此实证研究也绝不可能产生中国本土管理学。中国本土管理理论一定是规范理论。  相似文献

Employees need to regulate their own emotions as well as the emotions of others to enhance the quality of interactions with their colleagues. How well this is achieved has important outcomes for both employees and the organizations in which they work. In the field of organizational science, however, differing approaches have emerged regarding the conceptualization and operationalization of emotion regulation (ER) particularly in terms of interpersonal interactions. The present review examines contemporary theoretical perspectives of ER and its measurement with a view to resolving the confusion that currently exists around interpersonal ER in a workplace context. To understand how this field of research has developed so diversely, the authors begin by demonstrating the influence of three major individual‐level ER models on interpersonal‐level approaches: (1) the ER process model; (2) emotional labor; and (3) emotional intelligence. Moreover, to make sense of the range of interpersonal‐level research underpinned by these theories, the authors present a 2×2 categorization, developed by Zaki and Williams (2013), which shows how workplace researchers have variously approached interpersonal ER as an intrinsic vs. extrinsic process, with activation of either response‐dependent or response‐independent categories. This categorization broadly shows interpersonal ER theory used in work contexts tends to fall into four groupings as: (1) a purely extrinsic process; (2) a differentiation of extrinsic interpersonal from intrinsic individual ER; (3) co‐occurring intrinsic and extrinsic interpersonal ER; or (4) interpersonal coregulation. This paper also discusses the measurement of interpersonal ER and concludes by highlighting emerging research directions.  相似文献

研究中国管理实践具有重大的理论意义和实践意义,重点关注中国管理实践研究的路径:首先,在探讨中国管理实践研究路径时必须遵循2个原则:借鉴国际规范的研究方法和结合中国特殊的情境变量。在此基础上,对中国管理实践研究的路径进行了界定:从企业面临的实际问题出发提出研究问题;通过文献梳理的方式提出理论视角,并结合特殊的中国情境变量进行研究;采用案例研究的方法。最后,提出中国管理实践研究的3个阶段:零星研究阶段、系统研究阶段以及整合研究阶段。  相似文献

There has recently been considerable interest in research and practice that rely substantially on ideas from both model management and database management to solve problems that cannot be adequately addressed by either field alone. Following this frontier, this paper examines the essential nature of model management and relational database management, and discusses the validity of parallels which appear to exist between them. The characteristics of applications, functions, representations, utilizations, and research are used as a basis for conducting comparisons. Through these comparisons, the strengths and weaknesses of each field are evaluated, and significant similarities and differences are identified. An application for making use of the parallels identified is also presented in the paper. Rather than restricting the ideas and techniques applied within each field, this paper encourages the cross-fertilization of both model management and relational database management, in the hope that this may spawn creative ideas for research.  相似文献

While performance management (PM) is pervasive across contemporary workplaces, extant research into how performance management affects workers is often indirect or scattered across disciplinary silos. This paper reviews and synthesizes this research, identifies key gaps and explores ‘recognition theory’ as a nascent framework that can further develop this important body of knowledge. The paper develops in three main stages. The first stage reviews ‘mainstream’ human resource management (HRM) research. While this research analyses workers’ reactions to performance management in some depth, its focus on serving organizational goals marginalizes extra‐organizational impacts. The second stage reviews more critical HRM research, which interprets performance management as a disciplinary, coercive or inequitable management device. While this literature adds an important focus on organizational power, there is scope to analyse further how PM affects workers’ well‐being. To develop this strand of PM research, the third stage turns to the emerging field of recognition theory independently developed by Axel Honneth and Christophe Dejours. The authors focus especially on recognition theory's exploration of how (in)adequate acknowledgement of workers’ contributions can significantly affect their well‐being at the level of self‐conception. Although recognition theory is inherently critical, the paper argues that it can advance both mainstream and critical performance management research, and also inform broader inquiry into recognition and identity at work.  相似文献

This conceptual paper offers the convergence between two concepts now separated in the literature: the community of practice and the management model. The paper introduces the results of the theoretical research on the community of practice-based management model, the self-managing, human-friendly, knowledge sharing and innovativeness-supporting management model with high potential for the changeable environment. The research objective to analyse and explain the relationship between the concept of communities of practice and the management model is specified in two research questions: ‘How are the concepts of CoPs and management model connected in the community of practice-based management model?’ and ‘How do CoP-based management models work? What are their characteristics, advantages and disadvantages?’ The paper provides two examples of companies that combined both concepts in the community of practice-based management model and provides a discussion on the specifics of this unique model. The paper fills the research gap in the field of the theory of management – the community of practice-based management model, even though adopted by organisations in practice, still lacks adequate attention in the theoretical literature.  相似文献

The terminology of mode 2 knowledge production has become increasingly prominent in discussions on the nature and purpose of management research. This paper attempts to move our understanding of this terminology forward, by providing a detailed exposition of the five features of mode 2 knowledge production in the context of management research and by offering an empirical account of a research project conducted in mode 2. The paper relates the established problem–solving management research traditions of action research, cooperative inquiry, grounded theory and clinical method to the conceptual territory of mode 2. It then considers a specific form of knowledge production where all five features of mode 2 appear simultaneously. The paper demonstrates how the terminology of mode 2 might provide a useful basis for dialogue between management researchers from different methodological traditions. Moreover, the paper concludes that the specific form of mode 2 where all five features are present (called here 5mode2) does differ, in both its conduct and the character of its output, from any of the established approaches considered in this paper.  相似文献

Models are a key resource for organizational decision making. The diversity, complexity, and reusability of this resource result in the need for model management systems. The construction of a model management system involves a modeling task dimension and a design level dimension. The modeling task dimension consists of model formulation, model representation, and model processing. The design level dimension addresses the architectural requirements of a system from a user's standpoint and a computer system's standpoint.The numerous architectures suggested in the model management systems literature address isolated areas identified by these dimensions. The research surveyed in this paper indicates that the primary focus has been on the system view of model representation. Before model management systems can be widely used in organizations, model management researchers must explore systems that address all areas of the task and design level dimensions.In this paper, we identify and justify the necessary dimensions of model management research. Next, the existing model management research is critically reviewed. Finally, neglected research areas are discussed, and investigations necessary for the development of integrated model management systems are suggested.  相似文献
