Two grand shows, one each to celebrate the opening of NE-TIGER＇s two shops, were held in Beijing on November 9, 2013. With both shows, NE·TIGER again impressed the city. On October 25, during China Fashion Week, the company caused a sensation when it hosted the 2014 ＂Great Yuan＂ Haute Couture Fashion Show.

Seventeen fashion shows and two designing competitions were held in the spring during China Fashion Week. The event, held in Beijing, was organized by the China Fashion Designers Association. The award "Hanbo" (Chinese Silk) of the 11th China International Youth Fashion Competition was the week's highlight. The competition's theme was

During the opening ceremony, many celebrities and prominent people, who were wearing fashionable and luxurious clothes, gathered in the Banquet Hall of Beijing Hotel. For the 13th consecutive year, NEoTIGER, a high-end fashion brand, hosted the opening ceremony of China Fashion Week.

In the greatest event of combined human effort, China is developing at a record- breaking rate, increasing its coal and energy consumption by 50 percent, its population by seven million a year, and its water usage by 500 billion tons. China＇s development is pushing the limits of its environment, and it is showing no signs of stopping. Watts realized his fears had been very real, and that one day China could indeed destroy mankind. Many other nations, such as the United Kingdom and the United States, have already exploited -- and substantially damaged -- the environment. While the West created unsustainable development, it is China that may finish off the world. Back when Western countries began developing, the environment was healthier and resources seemed abundant.

Ten Chinese women were named ＂Models of the Year＂ during an annual awards ceremony on December 9, 2013, in Beijing. The Women Media Awards ceremony was sponsored by lady. 163.com and the UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women （UN- Women）. It was the first event of its kind in China, which has made a commitment to the promotion of gender equality and women＇s progress in various sectors.     

Protecting Rural Women＇s Land-related Rights

The China Society for the Study of Marriage and Family （CSSMF） and zhenai.com, one of China＇s best-known matchmaking websites, on October 14 hosted the ceremony to launch the First Forum on Marriages and Families and the Projects of Improving Chinese Marriages and Family Relations. The event was held in Beijing.     

Promoting Harmony within Families

The ACWF and the Chinese Women＇s Research Society （CWRS） held, in Beijing on October 30, a seminar on eradicating sexual harassment in universities. Tan Lin, Member of ACWF＇s Secretariat and Vice-President of CWRS, Gao Shawei, Director of ACWF＇s Legal Department, and Xu Tao, Director of the Teachers＇ Department of China＇s Ministry of Education, spoke during the event. More than 50 people -- including leaders and teachers from 22 universities （in various regions of China）, each of which has established a women and gender research and training base with ACWF and CWRS＇s help -- attended. During the seminar, many participants offeredsuggestions on how to curb and prevent sexual harassment.

Campaign to Prevent Breast Cancer Launched in Beijing,Tianjin, Sichuan
