个人价值观与社会工作价值观之整合——社工之专业自我的形塑路径初探

每一个社会工作者首先是作为普通的个人而存在的,尔后才逐渐作为专业自我而存在。在长期的社会生活过程中,作为个人而存在的存在者都会基于其所处文化,形成一套自我主动或潜意实施的个人价值观,这将天然地与社会工作之无差别对待生命的人本主义价值观存在或多或少的张力或冲突。对此,本文尝试以拟亲属化和主体意识投射两种手段之架构,来做个人价值观与社会工作价值观之整合的努力,以期探寻一种社工之专业自我的形塑路径。

社会工作本土专业价值观的建构,不能只看到专业,而是要在本土化的基础上实现其专业价值观建立。实践中的社会工作价值观基本上可以归为对人的价值观和对社会环境的价值观两类。这种实践中的价值观的形成,是社会工作价值观进入中国之后本土化的必然结果。中国社会工作价值观的建设和传播,绝不应该仅仅依靠拿来主义,被动地把握外来的专业社会工作价值观、行为守则、道德困境和应对策略,而是要主动从传统文化中提炼助人理念、总结中国特色的助人模式,形成符合中国文化特性的社会工作价值体系,创造符合中国人理念和行为模式的价值观系统。这样的社会工作价值观,才是能在实践中运用的价值观,才是能被学习者接受、运用、内化的专业价值观。

社会主义核心价值观与中国社会工作伦理都是最近几年学界讨论的热点,但探讨二者关系的文献不多。本文试图从分析社会主义核心价值观的基本依据以及界定社会主义核心价值观的基本内涵出发,分析中国社会工作的发展及其伦理困境,并对社会主义核心价值观引领中国社会工作伦理之构建的必要性和作用机制进行探讨。     

中庸思想对社会工作价值观本土化的潜在贡献

在当今构建和谐社会的时代背景下,中庸思想作为修身养性与治国安天下的思想方法,在世界观、伦理观塑造方面具有方法论意义。作为西方舶来品的社会工作,面对中国文化处境时,必须结合中国文化特点,因地制宜地走本土化之路。而社会工作价值观是社会工作的灵魂,社会工作本土化首要是促成社会工作价值观的本土化。试图通过对儒家中庸思想的分析,建立起中庸之道与社会工作价值观之间的关联,探索中庸思想对社会工作价值观本土化的潜在贡献。     

Reflections on Gender, Knowledge and Values in Social Work

Summary This paper is a discussion of the application of social workknowledge and values in practice. It draws on ethnographic researchin a child-care team in the UK which set out to explore theconstruction of clients as gendered. It is argued that socialworkers' accounts of practice reveal tensions between an emphasison clients as individuals and an emphasis on social collectivity.These tensions could be seen as inherent in social work knowledgeand values. There are various implications of these tensionsbetween the individual and the social, but there is a particularfocus in the paper on the implications for questions of gender.It concludes with some ideas for a theory for practice thatwould better equip social workers for the complex task of negotiatingthe gender tensions raised in the paper.     

关系“内卷化”与价值观的建构——以“流动儿童”为研究对象

本文尝试用“内卷化”的概念分析流动儿童价值观的建构问题，文章通过四个案别的比较得出，流动儿童关系“内卷化”对其价值观的建构起到了阻碍作用，建议提供流动儿童与城市儿童沟通交流的平台，让其在互动过程中形成自己的价值观。     

Personal versus Professional Values in Social Work:

Empirical studies of the values of the social work profession typically have focused on the personal values of social workers. This study is a pretest of a research design that distinguishes between the personal values of social workers and their perceptions of the values of the social work profession. The findings indicate that both the personal values of social workers and their perceptions of the values of the profession are distinguishable from the values of a sample of U.S. adults, but in different ways. The authors conclude that the values of the profession are accessible to empirical research and propose a research methodology.     

大陆社工人才流失现象的社会学解读

社会工作人才是现代社会的＂安全阀＂和＂稳定器＂,是促进社会和谐的有力支撑。社工人才大量流失严重影响了社会工作的进一步发展。社会工作专业作为一门新兴的专业,其社会认同度仍然很低。社会工作的职业定位问题不解决,是制约其发展的最大瓶颈。很多社工流向了资本收益较高的行业或职业。

Summary Self-determination is a curious concept, related to, but notquite the same as, freedom and autonomy. As an ethical principle,the principle of self-determination bears little relationshipto the way social workers behave. It is used as if clients werebeing allowed a free, independent choice; but clients are subjectto pressure, and the social work relationship is often conceivedwithin a structure of authority. As a guide to practice, theconcept of self-determination ignores the cases where directionis legitimate or desirable. Self-determination can be seen as a professional ideology—aninter-related set of values and ideas. The concept is derivedfrom a number of ideas and values outside social work, but itappears to have little direct relevance to social work in practice.The paper suggests that the concept of freedom may be more usefuland less remote from the realities than ‘self-detemination’is.     

The continuing relevance of casework ideas to long-term child protection work

This paper is a personal reflection on how casework ideas have informed my own practice. Traditional social work is under threat. Casework, which was once a core method of working in social work, is particularly vulnerable because it has become a private, personal activity that is often misunderstood. It still has its followers but it is hard to find any modern accounts of casework practice. This paper attempts to remedy this by describing the application of casework ideas to work with families following registration of a child on the child protection register. The casework approach is described and illustrated using two case examples. This shows that casework with involuntary clients remains an important method of working but there are inherent constraints within the statutory role which limit what social workers can achieve in terms of therapy or in tackling poverty and inequality. This is followed by a discussion of contemporary social work practice and ideas for ways forward.

良好的自我觉察能力是社工能有效帮助案主的重要因素，而自我觉察就是要在个案工作中以及结案后时刻敏感觉察自己的价值观、个人需求、未完成事件、与案主的关系以及文化差异等。自我觉察能力可以通过反思学习、接受再培训、接受专业督导、巩固自己支持系统等方式来培养。
