高校辅导员队伍建设研究

高校辅导员担负着大学生思想政治教育与日常管理的重大任务,但目前辅导员的自身素质与要求存在很大的差距。同时,高校中一些辅导员存在着较为严重的职业倦怠、职业定位不明确、日常事务性工作使其不能集中精力于主要工作等问题,对此应提出一定的解决对策。

在新形势下,伴随互联网技术的普及与应用,当代大学生的思想越来越多元化、多样化,这就为高校辅导员思想政治教育工作带来新的挑战。高校辅导员作为与当代大学生的直接联系人,他们的专业化水平、责任意识、政治素养、职业道德等都会对当代大学生产生十分重要的影响。通过加强高校辅导员队伍的建设,提高高校思想政治教育工作的水平势在必行。从总体上来看,新时代当代大学生的思想呈现出多元化、多样化的特点,给高校辅导员的思想政治教育工作带来新的挑战。因此,新形势下高校辅导员队伍建设机遇与挑战并存。相关领域的专家学者已经对高校辅导员队伍建设进行了分析与研究,并取得了一定的科研成果。本文在充分借鉴相关研究成果的基础上,首先分析了新时代高校辅导员队伍建设面临的挑战,最后分别从进一步规范辅导员的准入门槛、提高高校辅导员的职业素养、提高辅导员的职业道德素养、定期开展辅导员的培训活动以及做好高校辅导员职业发展规划几个方面,提出了新时代高校辅导员队伍建设的具体策略,希望本文的研究能够为教育领域相关人士提供一些参考。

浅谈高校辅导员队伍专业化建设

我国高校辅导员制度最早可追溯黄埔军校时期的政治工作制度，距今已有八十多年的历史，建国以后这一制度在我国高校中普遍实行。八十年后的今天，虽然社会环境已发生了重大改变，但从现实状况来看，辅导员在高校中仍占有特殊的地位并发挥着独特的作用。与此同时，高校辅导员队伍建设也面临着许多问题。

近年来,高校大学生的管理问题受到越来越多人的关注。高校辅导员队伍承担了这一重任,很多高校在辅导员队伍建设上已经取得显著进步,但实现辅导员队伍的职业化、专业化,还有待完善,全面提升辅导员队伍综合素质对辅导员队伍建设具有重大意义。长期以来,辅导员建设都没有得以充分重视,导致辅导员存在一些问题。本文就辅导员队伍建设问题进行分析,提出一些解决性建议。

Counselors as Social Advocates

ABSTRACT

The authors discuss the importance of social advocacy and empowerment models in working with lesbian clients. They also explore the multiple contexts that impact lesbian clients and their families. A case illustration involving a lesbian client facing issues of internalized homophobia, heterosexism, sexism, and legal issues is presented. Suggestions for applying a feminist and social advocacy approach are offered.     

北海高校辅导员科研现状的调查分析

高校辅导员科研能力的提升是辅导员队伍建设走专业化、职业化道路的关键和保证。以北海四所高校的辅导员队伍为研究样本,对高校辅导员的科研现状及制约因素进行调查分析,并就如何培养、提升辅导员的科研能力进行了探讨。     

Identification and Integration of Career Theory: Students’ Perspectives on the Process

In many counseling programs, while students are learning about career theory, they may be tasked in a separate course with identifying a theoretical approach to counseling. This may result in a dichotomous situation in which students lack an understanding of the relationship between career theory and counseling theory. Career counselors have long recognized the artificial distinction between career counseling and general counseling. However, counselor education programs generally lag, and there is a dearth of literature regarding the process of identifying and integrating career theory and counseling theory. This phenomenological study examined 6 students’ perceptions of the process of career theory identification and integration. Analysis of in‐depth interviews yielded 5 major themes: theory identification and integration, perceptions of career counseling, resources, personal dimensions, and application across the life span. Findings of this study have the potential to inform counselor education pedagogy regarding career theory identification and its application to the counseling context.     

School Counselors Supporting African Immigrant Students' Career Development: A Case Study

School counselors play a critical role in preparing adolescent immigrant students to be college and career ready by attending to the complex variables that promote and inhibit career development. This article provides an illustrative case study of a Somali immigrant student's educational journey to highlight the academic and familial challenges that she encountered while attending U.S. schools. Through this case study, the authors discuss the issues immigrant high school students experience and present culturally responsive practices that school counselors can use to address career development. These culturally responsive practices include developing a strong knowledge of students’ backgrounds and cultures, designing small group interventions that are timely and sensitive to immigrant students’ needs, and strengthening school–family partnerships.     

The Practice and Efficacy of Restorative Justice

SUMMARY

Beginning with an exploration of the importance of understanding the power of questions, this paper examines the question, “Does it work?” regarding restorative justice as a philosophy and a set of practices based on that philosophy. The paper identifies problems in the dominant retributive philosophical paradigm for responding to crime that the philosophy of restorative justice resolves. The author describes the practices of restorative justice in criminal justice as well as other contexts and presents evidence of effectiveness in achieving restorative outcomes. The paper discusses challenges and limitations in restorative practices.     

Photovoice as a Tool for Social Justice Workers

Abstract

This article considers the use of Photovoice as a tool for social justice workers. Photovoice is a technique that affords diverse populations of oppressed individuals the opportunity to take social action by raising awareness in the community and with policy-makers through use of a photographic process. The theoretical underpinnings, goals, and uses of Photovoice are reviewed in relation to social work contexts and values. In addition, the inclusion of empowerment theory and group work literature is explored as a natural expansion of the current theoretical underpinnings. Photovoice is a prime example of participatory research, assessment, and social action. The relevance of Photovoice to social work theory and practice is considered and possibilities for use as an integrated practice tool are explained.     

以立体复合型管理为平台构建高职人才培养新模式

根据目前高校采用的辅导员制、专业导师制和辅导员助理制(学长制)三种管理模式的各自特点,结合河北女子职业技术学院管理的实际,探索构建了立体复合型学生管理模式,并探讨了立体复合型管理模式的运行特征。

本文阐述了专职团干部在高校学生工作中的重要地位和作用,分析了当前新形势对专职团干部带来的挑战、提出的新要求,并就如何加强高校专职团干部队伍建设提出了对策与建议。     

Female Perceptions of Organizational Justice

This study examines women's conceptualization of the pervasive construct of organizational justice. A comprehensive four factor model was used to represent organizational justice while outcome variables were the important employee attitudes of job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intentions. Structural equation modelling was used to analyse responses from 301 male and 147 female respondents. Differences were found for procedural, interpersonal and informational justices. It would appear female and male employees have differing responses to perceptions of justice. Justice had a diffuse effect for males, but not for females. For men, interpersonal justice predicted an increase in organizational commitment while procedural justice predicted a decrease in turnover intentions. For female employees, informational justice was found to increase commitment and reduce turnover intentions. The study highlights the need for all justice factors to be considered and for sex differences to be considered in future justice research.
