高校班主任和辅导员工作在高校教育工作中具有举足轻重的地位,他们担负着规范大学生行为和塑造大学生思想的重要任务,对大学生的成长起着重要的作用。随着时代发展高校辅导员工作表现出不同以往的新特点和新要求。本文以当代大学生思想特点为依据,从构建辅导员创新体制、加强班主任辅导员队伍内涵建设、更新教学手段、构建辅导员激励机制和绩效评估体系、强化高校班主任辅导员专业化培训、推进辅导员的职业化和专业化等方面论述了高校辅导员工作的创新性。  相似文献

加强高校辅导员专业化建设,可以提升大学生思想政治教育质量,提高辅导员队伍的整体素质,推动高校的持续稳定发展。但由于辅导员队伍专业基础薄弱,专业化程度低,工作职责不明确,专业发展不突出,队伍稳定性差,发展前景不明晰,考核评价形式单一,不适应队伍专业化发展等问题,导致辅导员队伍专业化建设受到制约。在新的时代背景下,应该从加强辅导员的专业素质建设、明确辅导员的工作职责及边界、构建辅导员专业发展体系、建立多元化的辅导员考核评价机制方面入手,推动高校辅导员队伍的专业化建设。  相似文献

高校辅导员专业化培养和职业化发展既是高校提高大学生思想政治教育有效性和辅导员队伍适应高校教育改革的要求,也是辅导员自身发展的需要。面对当前辅导员队伍呈现管理强而教育弱、工作范畴的全职型而非专业型和缺乏相关学科专业背景知识的实际状况,高校应明确辅导员工作职责、对辅导员工作进行专业划分、建立以综合能力为主的高校辅导员提升内容及评价体系、开展学生工作的学科建设和科学研究、制定切实可行的辅导员专业技术职务评定体系,为辅导员专业化和职业化铺平道路。  相似文献

This study explored the practices of professional school counselors in their delivery of career counseling. School counselors were found to spend significantly less time on career development than on personal–social and academic development. In addition, new professionals placed more priority on career counseling compared with their more experienced counterparts. Many interpersonal processes impact social inequality, with social status and rewards playing a key role in its creation and form. In everyday interaction, people are defined not only by their categorical and/or achieved statuses, such as their gender and educational backgrounds, but also by their awards and possessions. These distinctions work together to create an understanding of who people are, what kinds of behaviors can be expected of them, how valuable their contributions should be, and the like. These expectations undergird individuals' shared and accepted social reality, with many using status and reward distinctions as shorthand for assessments of competence and worth. Questions therefore arise as to how individuals are affected by the configuration of valuable resources in their environment, namely how rewards are normatively distributed between and within social groups. Can rewards create new status groups? Can the perpetuation of inequalities based on status distinctions be impeded through the use of reward‐based interventions? I discuss the extant literature related to these topics and call for future research to more fully explore how rewards are implicated in processes of social inequality.  相似文献

In past research on status and power, the two variables have often been confounded. Within an experimentally induced organization, status and power were separated and their effects on a series of dependent variables were examined. A three-factor design using high and low levels of power and status and norms prescribing defernce to high status or to high power was created. Differing predictions for deviation from the prescribed norms of self-interest theory and equity theory were contrasted. The data indicate that a low power, high status individual who is in an organization which rewards high power will deviate from the prescribed norms in order to increase his rewards. Status affected subjects' self-perceptions and interacted with power to affect conformity to prescribed norms and perception of partner.  相似文献

A historical perspective is used to argue that an insufficient tolerance of differences (a) fosters devisive isms and schisms, (b) hardens resistance to change and to new ideas, and (c) impedes the development of diversity and specialization in both the training and the professional practice of marriage and family counselors. Some historical sources and current examples of the low tolerance of differences are presented, followed by a reiterated plea that a greater tolerance of differences be implemented by encouraging a wider diversity in training programs and by granting a more equal status and importance to each of the many different specialty areas of practice by marriage and family counselors.  相似文献

The successful provision of public goods through mass volunteering over the Internet poses a puzzle to classic social science theories of human cooperation. A solution suggested by recent studies proposes that informal rewards (e.g. a thumbs-up, a badge, an editing award, etc.) can motivate participants by raising their status in the community, which acts as a select incentive to continue contributing. Indeed, a recent study of Wikipedia found that receiving a reward had a large positive effect on the subsequent contribution levels of highly-active contributors. While these findings are suggestive, they only pertained to already highly-active contributors. Can informal rewards also serve as a mechanism to increase participation among less-active contributors by initiating a virtuous cycle of work and reward? We conduct a field experiment on the online encyclopedia Wikipedia in which we bestowed rewards to randomly selected editors of varying productivity levels. Analysis of post-treatment activity shows that despite greater room for less-active contributors to increase their productive efforts, rewards yielded increases in work only among already highly-productive editors. On the other hand, rewards were associated with lower retention of less-active contributors. These findings suggest that the incentive structure in peer production is broadly meritocratic, as highly-active contributors accumulate the most rewards. However, this may also contribute to the divide between the stable core of highly-prodigious producers and a peripheral population of less-active contributors with shorter volunteer tenures.  相似文献

Despite many changes that have occurred in the field of career counseling, counselors continue to rely on models of counseling that emphasize the rational, informational aspects of career decision making. The author argues that career counselors need to pay more attention to the affective, psychological issues confronting clients with career problems. Consistently and actively engaging in self-care has been shown to improve the performance of mental health practitioners by reducing burnout, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, and other stress-related psychological problems. Not only is this important to the individual practitioner’s well-being, but ethical standards also mandate the recognition and remediation of any physical, mental, or emotional self-impairment to maintain high standards of care for clients. Professionals in small communities, like the Deaf community, however, confront unique challenges in attending to their self-care. This article investigates these challenges—as well as the rewards—experienced by Deaf and hearing counselors working in mental health care with deaf clients.  相似文献

The question of promoting oneself is a crucial one, not only for counselors at the beginning of their career but also for experienced colleagues. The problem of attracting clients occupies counselors and supervisors at different levels: At the personality level as well as at the professional and role understanding level.
