Reproductive health is a new concept put forward by the international community in recent years. In April 1994, WHO defined reproductive health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease, in all matters relating to the reproductive system and to its function and processes. The concept gained international recognition at the International Conference on Population and Development held in Cairo in September 1994. Based on the global repro…  相似文献

Status QuoAn epidemiological survey jointly conducted by China and the WHO and UNAIDS indicates that China now has 840,000 people living with HIV/AIDS, 80,000 of whom are AIDS patients. Although this figure translates into a mere 0.6‰ of the country's total population, the total number comes the second place in Asia and the 14th in the world. The prevalence rate among adults is less than 0.1%, but the epidemic has been found in all the 31 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) of the country and the number of newly-infected people is increasing fast. Major methods of HIV transmission include drug-taking, blood donation (a major means of living for farmers in some impoverished regions) and sex.  相似文献

Huang Ming’s oil paintings are clearly categorized as still lifes according to the classification of traditional painting. Since the Renaissance, painters have not paid much attention to still-life paintings compared to painting creation of religious or historical themes. The reason is that still-life paintings belong to a small category in the painting field and they only present limited images and contents, which cannot fully demonstrate the painters’ exceptional artistic abilities and extraordinary techniques. Thus, still lifes are often not the favor of painters and sponsors. However, important reforms and changes in watching experience in art history can often be realized by  相似文献

"A large population" has long been the most prominent national condition of China. Whilepopulation research has been of 20 years in China, the relationship between population andmodernization attracts not much attention, and in the practical life, population issues are typically regarded as issues of population quantity which in turn are oversimplified as fertility issues. Hence, a misunderstanding is prevailing that "a large population" is the whole thing ofChina's population problems. This issue of "Population and Development Forum" attempts to open up views objectively toexamine the actual situation of "a large population in China", and to bring together the wisdom of different disciplines on population problems influencing the process of modermization.  相似文献

In the article,we attribute the main institutional reasons for impacts on citizenization of migrant workers to the urban-rural dual institution, and analyze its content and the basic characteristics. Then empirical analysis of the impact on the will, the ability,decision-making and process of citizenization of migrant workers is given by use of Logistic regressive model and investigation data. Finally a result is found that although the migrant workers have a strong desire for becoming citizens, the vast majority of migrant workers can not be converted to the public because of their capacity constraints, so as soon as possible to improve their ability of citizenization becomes the key to promote citizenization of migrant workers;furthermore,in the urban-rural dual institution,in addition to the household registration system, the employment system, the social security system, the land system and the education system have obvious obstacles on the will, the ability decision-making and process of citizenization of migrant workers. Therefore, the future focus of innovation of the urban-rural dual institution can not continue to remain in the formal aspects of the household registration system, but as soon as possible to switch to innovation of the employment system, the social security system, the land system and the education system which have a substantial impact on the rights and benefits of rural migrant workers, such as expectations and income.  相似文献

Thanks to the introduction of the reform and opening up policy, China has achieved rapid economic development and recorded a significant rise in the income level of its urban and rural residents as a whole. However, the level of income varies from industry to industry, from rural to urban areas, and from region to region, and the gap is widening. Estimates show that the Gini coefficient (an economic indicator measuring disparities in personal income) in China was 0.424 in 1996, 0.456 in 1998,…  相似文献

Based on the preliminary investigation of spatial and temporal patterns of migration with and without hukou (i.e.,the household registration system ) change and drawing on panel data in the past ten years, this paper uses random coefficient models to examine the impacts of migration on provincial economy growth in China.Analytical results show that:(a) migrations with hukou change across regions have been relatively stable, while migration without hukou change has increased rapidly and continuously since2000with extreme disparities across provinces;(b) the migration and mobility of the population is a Pareto improvement for China’s overall economy;(c)hukou in developed areas plays a role as the hourglass;(d) for most central provinces and some western provinces with large-size of outmigration, the negative impact of the loss of human capital due to large-scale out-migration on local economy began to come out;although outmigration has in general a positive mi pact, its contribution to local economic development is not as obvious as we expected.  相似文献

Almost in the same period of time, I was acquainted with Huang Ming, Fan Bo and Lei Bo. Five years ago, Huang Ming was a neighbor of Fan Bo when he lived in Beijing. So, if I visited one of them, the other one would be called to join the gathering. It was interesting to discover although they had totally different personality and style of painting, they had one single commonality in the form of expression, which gave me the deepest impression. Their paintings showed two core elements. In many paintings of Fan, you would see a withered tree and a man under the tree; while in many of Huang’s paintings, you would see an aged object and a straw mat underneath.  相似文献
