我国连锁零售业在瞩目中快速发展

是喜还是忧?--对居民储蓄存款攀升的思考

从1998年到2002年的5年间,我国城乡居民储蓄存款余额增长率达62.7%,平均每年递增17.1%,而同一时期GDP年均增长7.7%,二者相比,相差9.4%.可见,储蓄存款增长速度远远高于经济增长速度.据央行统计,2003年4月末,居民储蓄余额为10.27万亿元,同比增长18.4%,增幅比3月末低0.7个百分点,2003年一季度GDP增长9.9%;2004年5月末,居民储蓄存款余额为11.26万亿元,同比增长16.9%,增幅比4月末回落0.9个百分点,2004年一季度GDP增长9.8%.由此可见,居民储蓄存款增幅在近两年虽有所下降,但储蓄存款余额仍然处于高增长态势,仍然远远高于同一时期GDP的增长幅度.储蓄存款攀升是喜还是忧?
