数字化时代,制造企业通过组织模块化设计提升服务创新绩效成为服务化转型的重要途径,然而关于组织模块化能否以及如何提升制造企业服务创新绩效的研究还很缺乏.本研究从组织信息处理理论出发,探讨组织模块化发挥作用的内在机制.通过对285家制造企业的问卷调查发现:(1)组织模块化设计有助于提升制造企业服务创新绩效;(2)大数据分析能力在组织模块化和制造企业服务创新绩效之间具有中介作用;(3)组织敏捷性完全中介组织模块化和制造企业服务创新绩效的关系;(4)存在组织模块化-大数据分析能力-组织敏捷性-制造企业服务创新绩效的链式中介效应;(5)环境竞争性正向调节大数据分析能力和制造企业服务创新绩效的关系,表明随着环境竞争程度的提高,大数据分析能力对制造企业服务创新绩效的作用显著增强;(6)环境竞争性对组织敏捷性与制造企业服务创新绩效之间关系的调节作用不显著,然而无论环境竞争程度如何,提高组织敏捷性都能够正向影响制造企业服务创新绩效.本研究深化了组织模块化及其作用和优势的研究,并为数字时代制造企业组织架构创新、服务化转型等提供了借鉴.  相似文献

构建了组织创新、组织能力和组织绩效分析框架,以研究三者之间相互影响的机制和路径,并以华南地区的194家企业为样本进行实证研究。研究结果表明:组织能力是组织创新作用于组织绩效的中介变量;组织能力的前因,来自管理创新的影响大于来自技术创新的影响;组织创新从组织能力影响组织绩效的强度,比从技术创新影响组织绩效的强度更强;组织创新对于组织长期绩效、短期绩效的影响路径有所不同。  相似文献

以2009年10月至2013年6月中国创业板上市公司作为研究对象,考察风险资本介入对企业长短期经营绩效的影响效果和影响机理,以及风险资本的哪些特征会影响其对企业经营绩效作用的发挥.实证结果发现:1)风险资本的介入确实提高了企业的经营绩效,但这种提升作用只在短期内存在.2)风险资本介入后,企业短期经营绩效的提升主要来自息税前利润率的提升,而不是企业总资产周转率的提升;而企业息税前利润率和总资产周转率的双双下降则导致了企业长期经营绩效的下降.3)首次介入企业的风险资本数量越多,风险资本的经验越丰富,则风险资本对企业短期经营绩效的提升作用越显著.本文的研究结果表明,风险资本介入仅仅为企业带来了资金方面的支持,提升了企业短期的经营绩效,但风险资本并未给企业带来更多可持续增长方面的增值服务.  相似文献

通过对组织学习能力、战略柔性及企业绩效的相关文献的系统梳理,探索性地提出了一个体现组织学习能力、战略柔性以及企业绩效之间关系的结构模型,采用多行业的样本数据,运用SPSS和结构方程模型,通过样本分析,检验了组织学习能力对不同类型的战略柔性(资源柔性和能力柔性)的影响,以及资源柔性和能力柔性分别对于企业绩效的影响;通过假说验证分析,辅助各变量R2值的分析,企业绩效的53.6%被战略柔性的影响作用所解释,又由于资源柔性对企业绩效的影响作用不显著,所以被解释的企业绩效很大程度上源于能力柔性的影响.研究表明确实存在组织学习能力对战略柔性的影响作用,以及不同类型的战略柔性(资源柔性和能力柔性)对企业绩效影响的差异,从而为企业提高经营绩效提供理论基础和有效途径.  相似文献

采用纵向多案例研究方法,以4家中小型制造企业为研究对象,基于组织原型和吸收能力均衡模式视角,探讨其创新绩效提升和演化路径。研究发现,企业在不同技术能力发展阶段,组织原型的演变是影响吸收能力由游移均衡向双元均衡模式发展,进而带动中小型制造企业创新绩效提升的重要因素,并呈现出3种不同的作用机制;同时表现出由市场驱动原型和能力驱动原型出发,实现创新绩效提升的2种路径,以及游移均衡和双元均衡2种吸收能力均衡模式。  相似文献

以组织学习和动态能力、政治关系对绩效的影响为中介变量,构建了一个政治关系、组织学习、动态能力与绩效关系的理论模型;然后以广东珠三角地区166家企业为调查对象,采用SEM方法进行实证检验。研究结果发现,政治关系是否影响以及如何影响组织绩效,在很大程度上取决于企业所在行业的特征与企业本身的特点:对于非知识密集型企业而言,政治关系可以通过组织学习与动态能力间接地提高绩效水平;对于知识密集型企业而言,政治关系对于组织绩效、动态能力以及组织学习均没有显著的影响。  相似文献

中庸思维作为中国传统文化中最为突显的思维方式之一,近年来在心理学领域引起了学者们的重视,但是将中庸思维应用于领导理论并分析高层领导者的中庸思维对组织绩效影响机制的研究却很鲜见。本文以高层领导者的中庸思维为自变量,在对其概念进行归纳和界定的基础上,从理论上论证了其对于组织绩效的影响作用,以及组织两栖导向在其中所起到的中介作用和不同情境条件下组织两栖导向对组织绩效影响程度的变化,并运用中国企业层面的数据对所提出的假设进行了验证。研究结果显示:高层领导者的中庸思维对组织两栖导向和组织绩效具有显著的正向影响,组织两栖导向在中庸思维与组织绩效之间起着部分中介作用。员工间的联结性与部门间的相依性在两栖导向与组织绩效之间起着协同调节作用,两栖导向、员工间相依性和部门间联结性之三维交互对组织绩效产生正向影响。研究结果表明,企业高层领导者不仅要通过多方思考、和谐性和整合性之中庸思维来提高组织绩效,而且要通过建立组织的利用和探索之两栖导向,以及建立员工间的联结性和部门间的相依性这两种组织协调机制,提高组织利用现有资源和开发新机会的能力,从而提高组织绩效。  相似文献

战略理论认为,资源与能力是引致企业竞争优势和绩效差异的重要因素,但鲜有实证研究探讨异质性资源与何种企业能力组合可提升企业绩效的问题。本文通过定量研究分析了资源异质性与资源管理能力不同维度组合对企业绩效影响的效果。数据分析结果表明,资源获取、整合与释放能力维度对资源异质性正向影响企业绩效的作用关系有调节作用,但对不同的资源特质—绩效关系影响程度不同。本研究揭示了资源异质性—企业绩效关系成立的边界条件和影响因素,对企业管理实践有重要意义。  相似文献

本文基于高阶梯队理论,针对以往CEO更换研究的关键问题,探讨ST公司新任CEO特征、高管团队调整以及企业绩效提升之间的关系。本研究选择了沪深两市2000-2010期间被ST特殊处理后更换CEO的110个样本进行实证研究,研究结果表明,ST公司新任CEO的继任年龄、受教育水平对企业短期绩效变化有显著正向影响,过去未担任过CEO的新任CEO继任后企业短期绩效的提升明显好于过去担任过CEO的,内部继任的新任CEO继任后企业长期绩效的改善明显好于外部继任的,高管团队调整对企业短期绩效变化有显著正向影响,新任CEO特征对高管团队调整没有显著影响。本研究为绩效下滑企业转型战略研究提供了一个新的视角,也为中国企业选择和更换CEO提供了决策的依据。  相似文献

组织模块化所催生的竞合机制与模块整合模式充分彰显了开创价值创新的优越。本文以产品特性为调节变量,对组织模块化与组织价值创新之间的影响机制进行了实证分析。结果显示,在组织模块化过程中,单纯的组织结构构建并不能够带来企业的价值创新,只有制度设计才是组织模块化价值创新的深层诱因;而引入结构构建匹配后,模块化制度设计对组织价值创新的影响更加显著,这在某种程度上说明了产业模块化向组织模块化过度的必然性;在行业表现出产品设计信息的高度依赖性和信息较难写入介质等特性时,组织模块化将难以开展,并由此影响组织价值创新,也进一步明确了模块化的行业适用范畴。  相似文献

Modular product design and internal integration are commonly adopted by manufacturers to improve operational performance. A number of studies argue that the adoption of product modularity significantly alters organization design, which affects the impact of internal integration on competitive capabilities. This paper thus aims to empirically explore the individual effects as well as interaction effects of product modularity and internal integration on competitive capabilities. The competitive capabilities studied in this paper include product innovativeness, low price, product quality, delivery, flexibility and customer services. After analysing the data from 251 Hong Kong manufacturers through moderated multiple regression analysis, the study found that better internal integration can significantly improve product innovativeness, product quality, delivery, flexibility and customer services, while a high level of product modularity enhances product innovativeness, flexibility and customer services. More importantly, the study shows that internal integration and product modularity can interact to improve product innovativeness and product quality. These results enhance our understanding of the interaction of product design and organizational coordination.  相似文献

Modularity has the potential to impact various facets of new product introduction performance including product development lead time, frequency of new product introduction, on time introduction and product innovation. The impact of modularity on new product introduction performance, however, may vary for different levels of product and process complexity. This study empirically investigates relationships between perceptual measures of product modularity, process modularity, and new product introduction performance and explores whether an objective product/process complexity measure moderates these relationships. Using survey‐based methodology we probe both manufacturers of technically simple products and technically complex products. Hierarchical regression models are used to test hypotheses concerning the main effects of product and process modularity and the effects of their interactions with complexity on new product introduction performance. The results show that the main effect of product modularity was positive and its interaction with complexity was disordinal and negative, suggesting that the positive effect of product modularity on new product introduction performance is dampened when complexity is high. For process modularity, only the interaction effect (positive) was statistically significant and it was also disordinal in nature. Thus, the effect of process modularity on new product introduction performance is heightened when complexity is high. The implications of these findings are discussed and more specific theoretical and managerial implications are delineated by examining the impacts of these main and interaction effects on individual measures of new product introduction performance (frequency of new product introduction, product development lead times, product innovation, and on‐time product launch).  相似文献

Managers must regularly make decisions on how to access and deploy their limited resources in order to build organizational capabilities for a sustainable competitive advantage. However, failure to recognize that organizational capabilities involve complex and intricately woven underlying processes may lead to an incomplete understanding of how capabilities affect competitive advantage. As a means of understanding this underlying complexity, we discuss how managerial decisions on resource acquisition and deployment influence capability embeddedness and argue that capability embeddedness has an incremental effect on firm performance beyond the effects from organizational resources and capabilities. To investigate these issues, we present a hierarchical composed error structure framework that relies on cross‐sectional data (and allows for generalizations to panel data). We demonstrate the framework in the context of retailing, where we show that the embeddedness of organizational capabilities influences retailer performance above and beyond the tangible and intangible resources and capabilities that a retailer possesses. Our results illustrate that understanding how resources and capabilities influence performance at different hierarchical levels within a firm can aid managers to make better decisions on how they can embed certain capabilities within the structural and social relationships within the firm. Moreover, understanding whether the underlying objectives of the capabilities that are being built and cultivated have convergent or divergent goals is critical, as it can influence the extent to which the embedded capabilities enhance firm performance.  相似文献

Prior literature is ambivalent about whether organizational complexity has positive or negative effects on firm performance. Using rich data on global service providers, we explore this ambivalence by disentangling performance consequences of different types of organizational complexity. We show that complexity arising from the coordination of different services and operations negatively influences profit margins through increased coordination costs, whereas complexity coming from the sophistication of particular services may positively influence margins through informational advantages. We also investigate the moderating effects of process commoditization and client-specific investments. Our findings point to critical performance dilemmas facing global service providers in a highly competitive industry, and they help better differentiate performance effects of complexity at different organizational levels.  相似文献

Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) are essential in driving firm innovation. However, despite existing research on CEO personality characteristics and firm innovation and performance, we know relatively little about how personality characteristics reflecting anticipatory action and strong outcome-oriented components, such as proactiveness, shape firm innovation and performance. We explore the relationship between CEO proactiveness and three facets of organizational innovation, as well as its impact on firm performance. We suggest that CEO proactiveness is manifested in different network-building, problem-solving, and feedback-seeking behaviors with different implications for exploratory innovation, exploitative innovation, and organizational ambidexterity, and that its effect on firm performance is partially mediated by organizational ambidexterity. By examining the influence of this important CEO personality characteristic on key firm strategic choices and performance, we extend research on strategic leadership and firm innovation and performance.  相似文献

本案例以信雅达系统工程股份有限公司的13年发展过程为背景,通过为期九个月的蹲点调研的方式来跟踪企业创新的全过程,并采用深入访谈和二手资料收集的方式采集数据,进而分析其创新能力提升的动力机制.访谈对象的范围跨越公司决策层、管理层和执行层.我们认为,第一,创新具有全面性,企业绩效的提升需要以各要素能力的提升为基础;第二,政府政策、企业家、新产品开发、创新者、IT技术是企业创新能力的重要推动者;第三,企业的战略协调能力是企业创新能力提升的关键,战略、文化、技术、市场等要素之间的动态匹配程度决定了企业创新的效率和效果.  相似文献

While research on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) capabilities is accelerating, our understanding of their antecedents and performance implications still remains rather fragmented. Previous research has outlined the importance of learning for building M&A capabilities, but no work has attempted to summarize previous empirical findings regarding different learning mechanisms and their impacts on M&A performance. Mainly drawing upon organizational learning theory and the dynamic capabilities perspective, this study consolidates research on the relationship between different learning mechanisms, post-acquisition integration strategies, and M&A performance. Using meta-analytical techniques, our study shows that the capability-building mechanism relying on deliberate investments in learning tends to be more effective than the capability mechanism based on mere experience accumulation. In addition, our findings indicate that a higher degree of integration is associated with enhanced M&A performance among firms with more developed experiential learning, highlighting the need to explore mediating effects of integration strategy choices on the experiential learning-performance relationship.  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to explore the moderating effect of environmental dynamism on the relationship between dynamic capabilities and new venture performance using the rapidly changing environment in China as a case. Using a sample of 115 firm observations, we applied the partial least squares structural equation modeling approach to model these relationships and found that opportunity-sensing capability and reconfiguration capability have significant impacts on new venture performance. Additionally, each of these capabilities has a stronger impact on new venture performance at higher levels of environmental dynamism. We conclude that dynamic capabilities are more effective in implementing organizational change at high degrees of environmental dynamism.  相似文献
