Care as philosophical cornerstone of professional advisory services, e.g. counselingStarting with the common understanding of concern (?Sorge“) this article develops especially the aspects of substitutional care (?einspringende Fürsorge“) and preceding care (?voraus-springender Fürsorge“). These terms are found in Martin Heideggers phenomenlogical approach and their meaning for advisory processes illustrated in a case study. Encouraging to adequate self-care (?Selbst-Sorge“) is understood as central target of counseling. The german term ?Beratung“ contains all advisory processes as counseling and even consulting. We suggest to use the term care (?Sorge“) as central evaluativ criteria of counseling.  相似文献

Two important analytical steps in the context of supervision and counselling are: the identification of socially determined action barriers that preclude the desires for change of advice-seeking persons and, related to this, the uncovering of incongruences in thought and action. Using the socio-analytical research approach of “habitus” developed by Pierre Bourdieu in the context of social inequality and the modes of action of symbolic violence, work attitudes and methods can be integrated into the context of supervision and counseling, that help identify and understand the interplay of social framework conditions and individual action decisions.  相似文献

Before coaching: Situational counseling as management function Conflicts, crisis, bullying, weakness or separation: Critical situations for managers are not unusual in day to day business of organizations. Other than an external coach managers in these situations are not acting as professional counselors but as situational counselors. Situational counseling is understood as an organizational role which is activated in normative and critical management situations. There is a characteristic difference to the role of an external professional counselor. Accordingly, the development of competencies for a situational counselor needs its own approach. On the level of organization comprehensive principals for the behavior in critical situations should be developed and agreed by a process of communication. Psychiatrization, personification and personalization. Individual-centred consulting in organizations The individual-centred consulting already achieved high popularity in supervision and coaching. Based on system theory this article aims to define the functions of individual-centred consulting approaches — such as supervision and consulting — for organizations. The function of person-centred consulting is less an obvious manifest function of human resources development and more an invisible one for isolating conflicts in special interactional contexts. The organization achieves protection of its structure through coaching and supervision, because it is able to isolate its conflicts interactionally and therefore these conflicts remain to a large extent without any consequences for the organization.  相似文献

The main elements of the ongoing reform of youth welfare in Germany “Neue Steuerung” (“New Regulation”) are the reconstruction of its administration, local networking and the transfer of economical criterions to the context of social work. Advisors and coaches, working in this field, are confronted with a problem, which is highly characterized by institutional dynamics of changes, and especially with the question of efficiency of social measures. We think, it is important that advisers, coaches an supervisors, who work in this field of “New Regulation”, are informed profoundly of the current state of the reform of the administration in their region, that they find their own point-of-view to the theme of pressure in financing social measures and social providing, and that they create a flexible supply of consultation, which is comprehensive in methods and that they cooperate with their clients` institutions.  相似文献

Developments in psychological students’ counselling on the example of online-counselingSince “medialisation” seems actually to be one of the central challenges in the organization field of (German) universities as well as counseling, the author takes up this discussion by referring on the example of online-counseling for students. A general survey is given on psychological counseling on German universities, “conventional” psychological counseling, e.g. in the university region of Hanover. The introduction process of the meanwhile since three semesters tested online-counseling for students and the implementation of this project in the organization structure of the psychological/therapeutic counseling center in Hanover is reported. Furthermore information is given on results of a students’ survey on their acceptance of online-counseling. What is the meaning of ?dialogical relationship“ in supervision and coaching? The model of the ?socratic dialogue“ The author presents the ?socratic dialogue“ as a model of the counseling settings supervision and coaching. In contrast to a dogmatized store of knowledge the recognition of the own notknowing concerning the other person and the problem to be solved is a crucial attitude. Instead of a secure professional knowledge and of a corresponding indoctrination or e.g. interpretations of ?resistance“, the central issues are the common questioning and scrutinizing as well as the courage to open oneself to the encounting unknown. A dialogue attitude means, to become aware of and to endure the contradiction of equality vs. unequality, knowing vs. not-knowing, self-interest vs. openness to the other.  相似文献
