第五届中美妇女领导者交流对话会在美召开

On the sidelines of the fourth round of the China-US High-Level Consultation on People-to-People Exchange, the Fifth China-US Women＇s Leadership Exchange and Dialogue （WLEAD Dialogue） was held, in the US, on November 21. The event, with the theme ＂Women, Science and Education,＂ was co-chaired by the All-China Women＇s Federation （ACWF） and the US Secretary＇s Office of Global Women＇s Issues.

Invited by the president of Polish Women＇s League, a four-member delegation of Chinese women visited Poland and attended the event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Polish Women＇s League from October 18-20, 2013. The delegation, headed by Mu Hong, Director-General of the International Department of the All-China Women＇s Federation, visited grass-roots organizations of Polish Women＇s League. A. Michalak, President of Polish Women＇s League, met with the delegation. Both sides shared their opinions on improving the friendly cooperation between Chinese and Polish women. The visit helped to renew the traditional friendship between ACWF and Polish Women＇s League.

Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Yi, who led China's delegation to the Second China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue (SED), said Sino-US trade creates a win-win situation. In her article, published in The Wall Street Journal on May 17, Wu noted that China and the United States depend on each other in trade, despite some disputes. In essence, she wrote, it is a kind of mutually beneficial relationship.

At the invitation of Portugal＇s Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality （CIG）, a four-member women＇s delegation from China visited Portugal from February 22-26, 2010. The delegation was headed by Huang Qingyi, Vice-Chairperson of the National Working Committee on Children and Women under the State Council, and former Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women＇s Federation （ACWF）. It was the second visit in 20 years. The delegation was warmly received with great hospitality. Four Outstanding Women Visit Hong Kong

ON March 2, four of the "Ten Outstanding Chinese Women" of 1995, joined the delegation of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) on its visit to Hong Kong, and delivered speeches to more than 500 Hong Kong women. They visited Hong Kong with the ACWF delegation at the invitation of women's organizations in Hong Kong.
