第八届公关与广告国际学术论坛（PRAD）在新西兰梅西大学胜利闭幕

On the informational basis of social choice

The notion of informational basis in social choice can be broadened so as to cover not only the standard notions related to interpersonal utility comparisons, but also information about utilities or preferences at (ir)relevant alternatives, non-utility features of alternatives, personal responsibility, unconcerned subpopulations, and feasibility constraints. This paper proposes a unified conceptual framework for all these notions, and analyzes the kind of information retained in each case. This new framework yields a deeper understanding of the difficulties and possibilities of social choice. New welfarism theorems are also obtained.I am indebted to W. Bossert, W. Gaertner, F. Sense and Segmentarity: Some Markers of a Deleuzian-Guattarian Sociology

Although the focus of their work was rarely explicitly sociological, Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari developed concepts that have important and often profound implications for social theory and practice. Two of these, sense and segmentarity, provide us with entirely new ways to view sociological problems of meaning and structure. Deleuze conceives sense independently of both agency and signification. That is, sense is neither the manifestation of a communicating subject nor a structure of language—it is noncorporeal, impersonal, and prelinguistic, in his words, a "pure effect or event." With Guattari, Deleuze notes that it is not a question of how subjects produce social structures, but how a "machinics of desire" produces subjects. In Deleuze and Guattari, desire is not defined as a want or a lack, but as a machinery of forces, flows, and breaks of energy. The functional stratification we witness in social life is only the molar effect of a more primary segmentation of desire that occurs at the molecular level, at the level of bodies. In Deleuze and Guattari, bodies are not just human bodies, but "anorganic" composites or mixtures, organic form itself being a mode of the body's subjectification. The problem of the subject, and thus of the constitution of society, is first a problem of how the sense of bodies is produced through the assembly of desiring-machines. The subject, we could say, is the actualization of desire on the incorporeal surface of bodies.

2011年中国内地港口城市空间价值评估

港口城市具有港口和城市的双重内涵,是港口和城市的有机结合体。本报告选取了中国（大陆地区）2010年货物吞吐量超过1亿吨的23个港口城市进行研究。报告共分六部分。报告的序中介绍了港口城市的内涵、特征及选取;第一部分分析了中国港口城市经济发展现状、特点、趋势及存在的问题;第二部分首先介绍了本报告的理论基础——资源空间理论,重点介绍了价值五力,然后分析了港口城市价值影响因素,即资源空间承栽力、资源空间驱动力、资源空间辐射力、资源空间整合力和资源空间支撑力（亦即价值五力）;第三部分介绍了中国内地港口城市空间价值评估评价思路与原则、评价技术方法和指标体系;第四部分是中国内地港口城市价值综合排名、分要素排名和价值提升因素分析;第五部分是对上海、深圳、广州等重点港口城市空间价值评估的实证研究;第六部分是提升港口城市价值的对策建议。通过运用价值五力模型对2010年中国内地港口城市的价值分析,报告得出上海、深圳、广州、南京、苏州、天津、武汉、青岛、宁波、大连位于内地港口城市价值排名前十。

Alternative Formulas for Distributing Parental Incomes at Divorce

The current study applied five formulas for distributing parental incomes at divorce to 414 court case records in Minnesota and evaluated which formulas and actual court orders provided sufficient incomes for male and female-headed households. The study further explored influences of pre-divorce gross income levels, household/genders, and lengths of marriage on the post-divorce income-to-needs ratios (ITN) produced by the five formulas and actual court orders, using MANOVA. Results were interpreted using distributive justice principles of equity, needs, and contributions. Males have higher ITN with each alternative, except the income-sharing formula. The actual court orders and the income-sharing formula produce the largest discrepancy between male and female ITN and the highest percentage of females living below poverty level guidelines.Kathrine C.
