目前对于WFMS体系结构的研究主要集中在具体的应用上,尚不存在一种完全通用的WFMS体系结构。虽然工作流管理联盟为此制定了标准,但它所关注的仅仅是抽象的顶层结构,并没有涉及到底层模块的详细设计。本文采用自上而下的分层设计策略,提出了一种完备的通用WFMS体系结构。我们把WFMS分解为三个主要部分:设计模块、服务器模块和客户端模块,并分别对三者进行了详细论述。除此之外,为解决分布异构环境中的系统功能扩展问题,我们还设计了扩展模块;为克服工作流客户端的不断移动所产生的消极影响,我们使WFMS与其他平台之间的接口实现了标准化,从而保证了WFMS具有很好的灵活性和可扩展性。  相似文献

Over the last fifteen years companies tended to formalise their innovation management activities and to establish formal jobs like the innovation officer, the network manager or the innovation manager. Knowledge of the informal role profiles of these formal roles is still rare. HR and R&D Managers do not know which informal role profile might suit them best, thus having difficulties to assign the best candidates for jobs in innovation management. Researchers cannot help to resolve the problem. Our research answers the question what innovation managers really do, by analysing their tasks, skills and traits, theoretically based on informal role theories. Furthermore, we will analyse how these characteristics change with company size. To provide answers to our research questions we choose a multiple-case study approach. We found, among others, that innovation managers fulfil the role of the relationship and process promotor or a combination of both with the champion, but we also found, that the innovation manager’s roles profile becomes fuzzier with shrinking company size. Our results have practical implications for top management and also HR and R&D managers, enabling them to better select and steer employees in innovation management. Researchers will be able to build on our results because we offer a comprehensive understanding of the informal role profiles of innovation managers based on informal role theories.  相似文献

The paper proposes a factorial multi-stage stochastic programming (FMSP) approach to support water resources management under uncertainty. This approach was developed based on the conventional inexact multi-stage stochastic programming method. Five alternative inexact multi-stage stochastic programming algorithms in addition to the conventional algorithm were introduced and bundled to offer multiple decision options that reflect decision makers' perspectives and the complexities in system uncertainties. More importantly, factorial analysis, a multivariate inference method, was introduced into the modeling framework to analyze the potential interrelationships among a variety of uncertain parameters and their impacts on system performance. The proposed approach was applied to a water resources management case. The desired water-allocation schemes were obtained to assist in maximizing the total net benefit of the system. Multiple uncertain parameters and their interactions were examined, and those that had significant influences on system performance were identified. For example, the medium flow in the third planning period was the system objective's most influential factor. Any variation of this factor would significantly influence the acquisition of the total net benefit in the community. The significant interactions were also identified, such as the interaction between the agricultural sector's penalty and the medium flow in the third planning period. Through the analysis of multi-parameter interactions, the interrelationships among the uncertain parameters could be further revealed.  相似文献

Because of the increase in workplace automation and the diversification of industrial processes, workplaces have become more and more complex. The classical approaches used to address workplace hazard concerns, such as checklists or sequence models, are, therefore, of limited use in such complex systems. Moreover, because of the multifaceted nature of workplaces, the use of single-oriented methods, such as AEA (man oriented), FMEA (system oriented), or HAZOP (process oriented), is not satisfactory. The use of a dynamic modeling approach in order to allow multiple-oriented analyses may constitute an alternative to overcome this limitation. The qualitative modeling aspects of the MORM (man-machine occupational risk modeling) model are discussed in this article. The model, realized on an object-oriented Petri net tool (CO-OPN), has been developed to simulate and analyze industrial processes in an OH&S perspective. The industrial process is modeled as a set of interconnected subnets (state spaces), which describe its constitutive machines. Process-related factors are introduced, in an explicit way, through machine interconnections and flow properties. While man-machine interactions are modeled as triggering events for the state spaces of the machines, the CREAM cognitive behavior model is used in order to establish the relevant triggering events. In the CO-OPN formalism, the model is expressed as a set of interconnected CO-OPN objects defined over data types expressing the measure attached to the flow of entities transiting through the machines. Constraints on the measures assigned to these entities are used to determine the state changes in each machine. Interconnecting machines implies the composition of such flow and consequently the interconnection of the measure constraints. This is reflected by the construction of constraint enrichment hierarchies, which can be used for simulation and analysis optimization in a clear mathematical framework. The use of Petri nets to perform multiple-oriented analysis opens perspectives in the field of industrial risk management. It may significantly reduce the duration of the assessment process. But, most of all, it opens perspectives in the field of risk comparisons and integrated risk management. Moreover, because of the generic nature of the model and tool used, the same concepts and patterns may be used to model a wide range of systems and application fields.  相似文献

This paper investigates the phenomena and effects of heavy tails of execution time in business processes. We approached the heavy tails as a particular variation of business process execution, and analysed them from empirical data of its execution time. The features and possible causes of the heavy tails were investigated. A workflow simulation was conducted to simulate the heavy tails, in order to evaluate quantitatively their effects to business process performance. The simulation outcomes demonstrate that (1) even a heavy-tailed activity in a business process can cause large variation of end-to-end execution times of the process and (2) there are significant prediction gaps resulted by different assumptions of execution times between an exponential distribution and a heavy-tailed distribution.  相似文献
