本文讨论了R&D/市场营销界面管理研究的概念框架。在此基础上对北京地区企业进行了大规模的R&D/市场营销界面管理实证研究,应用主因素及方差分析等数据分析技术,归纳出界面管理有关的四个主要因素,并对界面管理与企业技术战略关系及部门间对界面管理因素认识上的差异进行了深入分析。  相似文献

本文利用东北三省的面板数据,建立固定效应变截距知识生产函数模型,对其技术创新能力及其影响因素进行了实证分析,发现企业对东北地区科技进步有着显著的正向促进作用,相对企业而言,高校的促进作用较弱,而科研机构对技术进步的贡献排在高校之后。东北老工业基地的振兴有赖于企业充分发挥科技领军优势,同时要进一步强化在高校中形成的研发优。势,而科研机构要合理配置科技资源,提高科研创新效率,加大政府对科研创新的投入力度。  相似文献

在技术密集型公司中一个重要的问题是构建"无隔层创新流程"(seamlessinnovationprocesses)."这里无发明"(not-invented-here,NIH)综合症和其它的障碍严重影响着研究和开发之间知识和技术的有效转移.由于存在着保守型结构、过时的转移设备以及下游职能定位模糊等原因,知识转移经常失败.从研究到开发产生障碍的原因主要有以下几方面:职能分割、地理位置、专业偏好和文化背景等.首先,我们在25家公司做了100多次的半结构性访谈;然后,我们在技术密集型产业做深入的案例研究.改进从研究到开发的界面总是围绕着R&D个体展开.我们通过对ABB、Hitachi、IBM、Kao、Unisys以及xerox等公司的案例分析,得出了一些成功的实践经验.我们得出这样的结论:从研究到开发界面的有效管理通过对管理R&D个体的知识转移获得.  相似文献

It is widely recognised that manufacturing can be a formidable competitive weapon if equipped and managed properly, and that to achieve this success a company must have the correct alignment of manufacturing and marketing strategies. The authors considered there to be a need for empirical research into the effect of such methods within industry today. Their research was based on two questionnaires: the first was sent to 319 companies looking at levels of integration, the second to 20 of the responding companies concentrating on the development process and content of their individual strategies. Known models, internal integration and formal procedures were also investigated, none of which seem to be fully functional within any of the companies contacted. It became evident that the size of the company must be taken into consideration when formulating development plans, and that communication, cross-functional teams and formal product development techniques are essential to the success of any marketing strategy.  相似文献

With the outsourcing of manufacturing activities from Western countries, China has gradually become the global manufacturing hub. In the presence of increased competition from both inside and outside of China, many Chinese manufacturers have turned to scientific management approaches and implemented various enterprise systems. In academia, there has been a growing interest in quantifying the impacts of such efforts on the corporate performance of Chinese firms, and research has been carried out in areas such as finance and accounting. However, due to limited visibility of operational decisions and data, there seems to be a lack of investigation into the impacts on the firms’ operational performance in the literature. In this article, we apply an empirical method to investigate the inventories of 1286 firms listed on the two stock exchanges in China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. We find that on average the inventory levels have declined over time and that the firm‐level data is consistent with several implications derived from classical inventory models.  相似文献

The institutionalization of R&D by large, modern organizations is regarded as one of the most significant social and economic factors of the twentieth century. In recent years post-modern organizations have begun to replace bureaucratic control with market control. This approach is particularly attractive in the case of R&D employees who have been relatively successful in resisting direct managerial control. Government statistics are used to demonstrate that external R&D increased from 5% to 16% of internal R&D expenditure between 1989 and 1995. This trend is examined in the context of consolidation within the UK pharmaceutical industry, which has considerable implications for the sustainability of high-technology industry in the UK.  相似文献

We present and demonstrate a multi-criteria approach for evaluating R&D projects in different stages of their life cycle. Our approach integrates the balanced scorecard (BSC) and data envelopment analysis (DEA) and develops an extended DEA model. The input and output measures for the integrated DEA–BSC model are grouped in “cards” which are associated with a “BSC for R&D projects”. The BSC is embedded in the DEA model through a hierarchical structure of constraints that reflect the BSC balance considerations. We illustrate the proposed approach with a case study involving an industrial research laboratory that selects and executes dozens of R&D projects every year.  相似文献

Currently, the need for R&D performance measurements that are both practically useful and theoretically sound seems to be generally acknowledged; indeed, the rising cost of R&D, greater emphasis on value management and a trend towards decentralization are escalating the need for ways of evaluating the contribution of R&D to corporate performance. However, although recent research and writing on the subject shows that the challenge of developing such sound measurements has been taken up by many academics and organizations, it is also clear that there is no generally applicable approach.
In this review, we consider various approaches for measuring the performance in industrial R&D and identify their key characteristics. We also include a brief summary of the 'history' of performance measurement in R&D, which shows that although there are some new ways of looking at the issue there are many examples from the past that can contribute to our current thinking.
The approaches found in the literature and practice are very varied in their application, some being more suitable for the project level, others for the R&D department, and some for the development process or for the organization as a whole. Furthermore, the uses of the approaches tend to be different. For example, some approaches are intended to justify the continuation of investment in R&D to upper management, whilst others are more suited to support learning and self-correction by empowered R&D teams. In this paper these uses, or 'functions', of performance measurement and a taxonomy of typical subjects of measurement in R&D environments are explored.
Finally, we conclude the review with a discussion of some limitations of the growing literature on R&D performance measurement.  相似文献
