The purpose of this study is to investigate how companies manage relationships with publics on social media. Based on the concepts of functional and contingency interactivity, the study examines the long-term implementation of three interactive strategies derived from research on organization-public relationships: dialogic communication, transparent communication, and informal communication. The study sheds further light on relational outputs and outcomes. The results of content analyses of leading German companies’ Facebook pages in 2012, 2015, and 2018 indicate the growing importance of dialogic communication and informal communication. There is a constant relation between dialogic communication and the extent of user interaction, with the analysis suggesting that dialogic communication is used to manage critical user comments. Hence, the long-term study contributes to a deeper understanding of professionalization in corporate social media communication. It provides evidence for PR scholars and professionals that there are effective features on Facebook for managing sustainable relationships. 相似文献

This paper examines the intersubjective cocreation of gender ambiguities, identifications, and defensive disidentifications as they emerged out of the vicissitudes of an erotic transference–countertransference in the analysis of a man who stutters. The author posits that the patient's ruptured speech provides an entryway into exploring the problematics of gender. For this man, embracing his masculinity placed him in severe conflict with powerful feminine identifications. The author experienced transferentially the embodiment of different gendered states: receptive preoedipal mother, castrating “phallic” mother, sensuous lover, sadistic penetrating male, benevolent father. She suggests that the stuttering can be understood as an emblem of the sacrifice of the lost primordial union with the mother that accompanies the transition into language. 相似文献

This article examines how resilience of organizations can be enhanced by promoting their capability for adaptation. In a first step, the current understanding of the conceptualization of organizational resilience is compared to the resilience of individuals and teams. In a second step, the article also aims to illustrate the relationship between organizational resilience and organizational culture. Based on this, the applied research and development project “TeamSafe” in collaboration with a nuclear power plant is described as an example of a resilience-oriented training concept and a method for coping with unknown situations. In this project a multi-methodological approach (observational methods, video analysis and workshops) was chosen in order to identify relevant competencies and combine them with scientific findings. By involving simulator instructors and operating teams during the development process of the training concept, crucial action knowledge of operating teams in a nuclear power plant was gained by observations in the simulator and shared between different teams. A small-scale survey was carried out on the health needs of those members of the Findhorn Bay Community, in northeast Scotland, who were over the age of 60. The survey asked questions about their health, quality of life, support received and perceived needs in these areas. The responses of the elders are summarised and discussed. Most of the elders had health conditions which affected their quality of life, yet almost all were satisfied with the support they received and over half with their quality of life. Implications for the links between community, family, work and perceived health were identified. Il y avait un questionnaire qui leur demandait des informations sur leur sante, et qualite de vie; il leur etait aussi demande si ils se sentaient suffisamment soutenus et comment ils percevaient les differents besoins de leur vie. Les responses de les personnes sont brievement evoquees et discutees. Les implications concernant les rapports entre communaute, famille, travail et sante furent identifiees. Chemicals indisputably contribute greatly to the well-being of modern societies. Apart from such benefits, however, chemicals often pose serious threats to human health and the environment when improperly handled. Therefore, the European Commission has proposed a regulatory framework for the Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) that requires companies using chemicals to gather pertinent information on the properties of these substances. In this article, we argue that the crucial aspect of this information management may be the honesty and accuracy of the transfer of relevant knowledge from the producer of a chemical to its user. This may be particularly true if the application of potentially hazardous chemicals is not part of the user's core competency. Against this background, we maintain that the traditional sales concept provides no incentives for transferring this knowledge. The reason is that increased user knowledge of a chemical's properties may raise the efficiency of its application. That is, excessive and unnecessary usage will be eliminated. This, in turn, would lower the amount of chemicals sold and in competitive markets directly decrease profits of the producer. Through the introduction of chemical leasing business models, we attempt to present a strategy to overcome the incentive structure of classical sales models, which is counterproductive for the transfer of knowledge. By introducing two models (a Model A that differs least and a Model B that differs most from traditional sales concepts), we demonstrate that chemical leasing business models are capable of accomplishing the goal of Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals: to effectively manage the risk of chemicals by reducing the total quantity of chemicals used, either by a transfer of applicable knowledge from the lessor to the lessee (Model A) or by efficient application of the chemical by the lessor him/herself (Model B). 相似文献

This paper presents a stochastic population forecast for China with a special emphasis on population ageing. The so-called
scaled model for error was used to quantify the uncertainty attached to the population predictions. Data scarcity was a major
problem in the specification of the expected error of the population forecast. Therefore, the error structures estimated for
European countries were used with some modifications, taking into account the large size and heterogeneity of the Chinese
population. The stochastic forecast confirms the expectation of extremely rapid population ageing during the first half of
the twenty-first century in China. The old age dependency ratio (OADR) will certainly increase. Simply maintaining the current
demographic rates (no international migration) would drive the OADR to 0.42 in 2060, four times the current level. Including
expected declines in mortality and net outmigration in the projection would increase the median OADR in 2060 to 0.59, with
a 80% prediction interval of [0.47, 0.75]. In particular, the oldest-old population will grow much faster than any other age
group. This development has major implications for policy-making in China.

The left-right ideological dimension plays a central role in political science research. The meaning of left and right is often based on analyses of responses to open-ended survey questions. In the 2008 German General Social Survey, item non-response to two particular open-ended questions on the meaning of left and right was considerable and calls for analyses of the value of the data have been received. In our paper we investigate item non-response to these two open-ended questions in terms of cognitive abilities, motivational aspects, and finally, in relation to the left-right self-placement scale itself. Item non-response in the open-ended questions is not based on randomness alone, and analyses show some significant systematic results. Thus, the open-ended questions seem to be biased and the validity of this data is questionable in some respect. In this context, left-right self-placement of non-respondents and “cognitive don’t knowers” need to be given careful consideration. 相似文献
