CHANGING BUSINESS MODELS IN INTERNATIONAL BANK FUNDING

This paper investigates the foreign funding mix of globally active banks. Using BIS international banking statistics for a panel of 12 advanced economies, we detect a structural break in international bank funding at the onset of the great financial crisis. In their postbreak business model, banks rely less on cross‐border liabilities and, instead, tap funds from outside their jurisdictions by making more active use of their subsidiaries and branches, as well as interoffice accounts within the same banking group. Multivariate Approach for Comparative Evaluations of Customer Satisfaction with Application to Transport Services

In problems related to evaluations of products or services (e.g. in customer satisfaction analysis) the main difficulties concern the synthesis of the information, which is necessary for the presence of several evaluators and many response variables (aspects under evaluation). In this article, the problem of determining and comparing the satisfaction of different groups of customers, in the presence of multivariate response variables and using the results of pairwise comparisons is addressed. Within the framework of group ranking methods and multi criteria decision making theory, a new approach, based on nonparametric techniques, for evaluating group satisfaction in a multivariate framework is proposed and the concept of Multivariate Relative Satisfaction is defined. An application to the evaluation of public transport services, like the railway service and the urban bus service, by students of the University of Ferrara (Italy) is also discussed.     

略论中国古典戏曲中的咒语现象

在中国古典戏曲描写中,"咒语"常出现在唱词和科白里。就形态上看,可分为自咒与他咒两种类型;就内涵上看则涉及爱情生活、巫术攻侵、战事、佛道文化等等方面。对这些咒语事象作民俗文化学角度的考察,探究它们的形式、内涵、源流、变化及其在其它文体文献中的反映,可以见出文学母题学的传承性意义,以及戏曲作品"叙事单元"模态化的规律。     

No‐Bubble Condition: Model‐Free Tests in Housing Markets

We test for the existence of housing bubbles associated with a failure of the transversality condition that requires the present value of payments occurring infinitely far in the future to be zero. The most prominent such bubble is the classic rational bubble. We study housing markets in the United Kingdom and Singapore, where residential property ownership takes the form of either leaseholds or freeholds. Leaseholds are finite‐maturity, pre‐paid, and tradeable ownership contracts with maturities often exceeding 700 years. Freeholds are infinite‐maturity ownership contracts. The price difference between leaseholds with extremely‐long maturities and freeholds reflects the present value of a claim to the freehold after leasehold expiry, and is thus a direct empirical measure of the transversality condition. We estimate this price difference, and find no evidence of failures of the transversality condition in housing markets in the U.K. and Singapore, even during periods when a sizable bubble was regularly thought to be present.     

职业学院和师范学院大学生自我意识发展的比较研究

为了深入了解职业院校和师范院校大学生自我意识的发展特点,本研究运用《自我意识量表》对两类两所学校664名大学生进行调查。结果发现：（1）两种院校大学生的自我意识水平总体上都处于中等,但两个维度之间发展不平衡,公众自我维度的得分显著高于内在自我维度;（2）女生在公众自我维度上显著高于男生,年龄为18岁及以下的学生在自我意识总分上显著低于其他年龄的学生;（3）师范院校大学生在公众自我维度上的得分显著高于职业院校大学生。     

行政补偿立法思考

行政赔偿在行政领域起到了重要作用,目前获得行政赔偿的必要条件之一是行政主体违法行使职权,从行政相对人的角度考虑,在是否违法问题上大费周章没有必要,进一步从行政赔偿法是救济法的本质出发,优先考虑行政相对人的权益,将有关行政补偿内容纳入行政赔偿法律体系框架之中。     

新冠肺炎疫情下对完善快递末端配送体系建设的思考——以重庆市为例

自新冠肺炎疫情发生以来,快递业为应急救援物资和人民群众日常基本生活物资运输和寄递服务、畅通经济循环、满足民生需要等方面做出了重要贡献,为疫情防控提供了强有力的支撑;但同时也暴露出了一些问题,集中体现在末端配送体系不健全、末端收投不畅等方面。在对电子商务和快递业发展现状进行分析的基础上,对快递末端配送的主要模式和发展趋势进行了论述,结合重庆市的实际情况,分析了其末端配送存在的不足,并从公共服务平台搭建、智能化无接触式配送构建、乡村快递服务网络完善、快递员队伍建设等方面提出了对策建议,以助推重庆经济社会高质量发展。

Exploring the relation between maternal mind‐mindedness and children’s symbolic play: A longitudinal study from 6 to 18 months

Relations between mothers’ mind‐mindedness (appropriate attunement to their infants’ internal states) at 6 and 12 months and infants’ early symbolic play during infant–mother pretense at 12 and 18 months were investigated in a sample of 43 mothers and infants. Mothers’ appropriate mind‐related comments were associated with average level, length, complexity, and maturity level of symbolic play. Specific sub‐categories of appropriate mind‐related comments were identified as independent predictors of children's symbolic play. Appropriate comments about desires and cognitions at 6 months were associated with average level and length of episodes, as well as with maturity level of symbolic play at 12 months. Longitudinal stability in the appropriateness and content of mothers’ mind‐related comments was also investigated. The results are discussed in terms of the proposal that attunement to specific types of internal state should vary as a function of infant age in order to index mind‐mindedness.
