对语言符号任意性及象似性的再思考

从不同角度及层次重新审视语言符号的属性,得出的新结论是语言符号的任意性和象似性都是语言符号的属性,只不过是从不同角度来探讨语言符号的属性而已;就语言的单个符号而言, 任意性仍是语言符号的第一原则;但在复合词和派生词及语言组合关系及句法关系上,语言符号具有高度象似性。象似性与任意性是辩证统一的。

罗兴亚问题对缅-孟关系和地区秩序的影响

罗兴亚问题是一个多世纪前英殖民者在亚洲埋下的诸多“民族问题”之一,也是孟加拉国与缅甸之间难解的“痼疾”。2017年8月以来,罗兴亚问题的再次爆发给相关国家造成巨大冲击。缅甸在打击罗兴亚暴力活动的同时,反对国际干涉,试图牢牢把握该问题解决进程中的主导权,而孟加拉国在政治、安全、经济和社会等不同层面基于自己的利益考量,寻求将罗兴亚人遣返缅甸,立场的对立使两国关系陷入僵局。而美国和印度介入罗兴亚问题则使地区秩序进一步复杂化,并在舆论和安全等领域影响中国的利益。2020年1月17日至18日,中国国家主席习近平应邀对缅甸进行国事访问,标志着中缅经济走廊从概念规划转入实质建设阶段,也给“罗兴亚问题”的解决带来新契机。     

Parental stress and parenting in Chinese immigrant families: The mediating role of social support

As the population of Chinese immigrants has been growing rapidly in the United States, it has been understudied on the parenting behaviours as well as the roles parental stress and social support playing in parenting in this group. This study investigated whether parental stress was associated with parenting and whether this relationship was mediated by social support in a sample of 255 Chinese immigrant parents from the Survey of Asian American Families in New York City. Regression analyses with a rich array of control variables found that a higher level of parental stress and the presence of one or more stressors such as unemployment, low income, and low education were positively associated with the use of harsh discipline and parent–child conflicts and negatively associated with positive parenting practices. Social support functioned as a significant mediator in the relationships between parental stress and positive parenting practices but not in the relationships of parental stress with parent–child conflict or the use of harsh discipline.     

Writing resistance together

This piece of writing is a joint initiative by the participants in the Gender, Work and Organization writing workshop organized in Helsinki, Finland, in June 2019. This is a particular form of writing differently. We engage in collective writing and embody what it means to write resistance to established academic practices and conventions together. This is a form of emancipatory initiative where we care for each other as writers and as human beings. There are many author voices and we aim to keep the text open and dialogical. As such, this piece of writing is about suppressed thoughts and feelings that our collective picket line allows us to express. In order to maintain the open‐ended nature of the text, and perhaps also to retain some ‘dirtiness’ that is essential to writing, the article has not been language checked throughout by a native speaker of English.     

他者话语的反思：欧美学界关于中国海外藏人研究评析

“西藏问题”,尤其是中国海外藏人问题,是我国党和政府始终关切的重要问题。自1959年西藏叛乱以后,中国海外藏人问题在一些西方国家备受关注,也成为欧美学者们竞相展开调查研究的重要领域,关于这一主题的研究涉及了国际关系、人口迁移、国际援助、难民政策、身份政治、文化传播等诸多领域。本文将在对大量欧美学者的相关专著与论文进行整体把握的基础上,厘清欧美学界海外藏人研究的基本特点,对欧美学界的相关研究状况进行分析,并重点分析了欧美学者对中国海外藏人社区的实地研究,指出许多研究过分服务于政治目的,或研究中情绪色彩过重,或关注点过于集中于中国海外藏人的处境状况。因此,国内的相关研究应发挥本土优势,关注中国海外藏人生活境遇,将海外藏人研究与国内藏族研究相结合,构建起更加完整的藏族研究体系。     

非主流主流化:大学生兼职的社会学分析

社会发展、学校改革、家庭贫困、个人原因等使大学生兼职由非主流化走向主流化,甚至庸俗化。大学生兼职的动机由锻炼自己变为养活自己,在社会贬低大学生与大学生自我贬低的双重打压下,大学生兼职主流化、庸俗化不可避免,这要求社会、学校与家庭认真对待大学生兼职主流化、庸俗化问题,积极引导大学生兼职,防止因为兼职所带来的负面影响制约大学生成长与进步。
