Traditionally, the question of migration has been compartmentalized analytically between, on the one hand, the causes of international migration which in the main have been studied by economists and geographers and, on the other hand, the consequences of migration primarily on the receiving countries, which has mostly been an area of concern for sociologists, demographers and geographers who have looked into theories and processes of settlement/integration. The twain rarely met. As a consequence, for heuristic purposes a separation based on discipline, geographical areas and objects of study has taken place, an approach challenged recently by some scholars. This article brings together the threads of international migration in its causes and consequences affecting both sending and receiving countries as well as the migrants. The close interaction between causes and consequences is enhanced by the role of migrants themselves. Indeed, migrants are not only objects whose moves are deterministically conditioned by structural factors, they are social actors who formulate their own strategies and life projects within given settings and conflicts in their society of origin and society of reception, which they in turn contribute to modify. 相似文献

<尚书考异>是第一部系统考辨<古文尚书>为伪作的著作,具有重要的学术研究价值.关于此书版本.较有价值的是台湾故宫藏旧抄本、<四库全书>文渊阁抄本、孙星衍平津馆刻本.台湾故宫藏旧抄本年代最早,有了它,可以大体推测<尚书考异>在传写过程中致误之由.文渊阁抄本最为常见,四库馆臣在将此书收入<四库全书>时,对书中许多讹误作了校正.平津馆刻本最为完整,它不仅比前两个抄本多出两万余字.而且更全面而系统 地对<古文尚书>进行了辨伪搜证工作.但此本虽经顾广圻、孙星衍两位清代大学者详加校正,但书中仍沿袭了故宫旧抄本的许多错误.这也就是说,<尚书考异>迄令尚无一部理想的版本.本文通过<尚书考异>版本的比较研究,以见各版本的优缺点及其价值. 相似文献

在我国,社会工作专业虽发展迅速,但仍面临许多问题,尤其是社工需求量大与就业率低、专业不对口、流失率高等矛盾突出。本文基于保定市X大学2009~2012届社会工作专业本科毕业生就业去向的调查数据研究发现,近四年来,社会工作专业本科毕业生的整体就业状况较好,但是就业不对口现象严重;攻读研究生的比例虽不断提高,但继续选择社会工作专业的寥寥无几;女生从事对口专业的比例较高。社会环境、制度安排、培养机制、毕业生个人因素是影响社工本科毕业生就业的主要因素。本文在此基础上,提出改善社会工作专业就业状况的政策建议。 相似文献

We conducted a set of experiments to compare the effect of ambiguity in single-person decisions and games. Our results suggest that ambiguity has a bigger impact in games than in ball and urn problems. We find that ambiguity has the opposite effect in games of strategic substitutes and complements. This confirms a theoretical prediction made by Eichberger and Kelsey (J Econ Theory 106:436–466, 2002). In addition, we note that subjects’ ambiguity attitudes appear to be context dependent: ambiguity loving in single-person decisions and ambiguity averse in games. This is consistent with the findings of Kelsey and le Roux (Theory Decis 79:667–688, 2015). 相似文献

Theories of contraception and fertility are currently dominated by economic and cultural arguments. A demographic perspective can usefully expand these theories through “addition,” “explication,” and “reconciliation.” The addition is about drawing attention to salient demographic forces that have previously been underconsidered whether these forces operate at the macro, meso, or microlevels. Explication is about adding explanatory flesh to proximate economic or cultural influences, which can themselves result from more fundamental demographic changes. Finally, reconciliation is about moving beyond an “economy -OR- culture” binary to seek complementarities and synergies. Decomposition methods inspired by a demographic perspective help such reconciliation. They offer handy empirical tools for assessing how economic, cultural, and demographic forces jointly shape changes in national rates of contraception, and how their contributions may change over time. Thus, demographic perspectives are not offered as a substitute but as an avenue to integrate cultural, economic, and demographic perspectives and to foster richer contextual analysis. 相似文献

As the need for business to address pressing social and ecological issues intensifies, so does the importance of enhancing the development of sustainable marketing. The current dominant approach to sustainable marketing is based on a Triple Bottom Line (TBL) profit-centric worldview, which suggests that firms can simultaneously improve their financial well-being as they reduce negative social and ecological externalities. However, whereas the scope of TBL marketing is limited to sustainability initiatives that enhance profits, there is a growing need for—and interest in—developing a sustain-centric approach to marketing that relaxes the need to maximize financial well-being in order to optimize social and ecological well-being. Even so, because of the dominance of the profit-centric worldview, hallmarks of sustain-centric marketing practices remain under-developed and may even lend themselves to becoming inauthentically mimicked on a piecemeal basis by greenwashing profit-centric firms. We provide an exploratory empirical study of marketing practices evident in two sustain-centric firms and draw implications to advance theory for both sustain-centric and profit-centric marketing. 相似文献
