In order to estimate the demographic impact of IUD, there is a need for estimating IUD retention rates beyond the period of actual observation. This article describes a mixed exponential function for this purpose. With this function of IUD retention, it is possible to estimate the “life expectancy” and “half-life” of an IUD. Another important concept is the “cut-off date”, introduced in estimating the “life expectancy” because in practice no IUD will be worn by a woman forever.  相似文献

有关战略人力资源管理的研究认为,企业通过人力资源实践活动之间的契合,及它们与企业目标之间的契合,可以获得高附加值、稀缺性、难以模仿和不可替代的竞争优势。本研究采用形态理论的方法探讨人力资源管理实践组合与企业战略之间的最佳契合模式.研究发现,不仅企业战略对人力资源实践组合有显著影响,而且人力资源管理系统与企业战略的交互作用对企业利润和销售额增长率也有显著影响。本研究的结论在一定程度上支持了人力资源管理系统与企业战略的交互作用有助于提升企业绩效的观点。  相似文献

A procedure is proposed for the assessment of bioequivalence of variabilities between two formulations in bioavailability/bioequivalence studies. This procedure is essentially a two one-sided Pitman-Morgan’s tests procedure which is based on the correlation between crossover differences and subject totals. The nonparametric version of the proposed test is also discussed. A dataset of AUC from a 2×2 crossover bioequivalence trial is presented to illustrate the proposed procedures.  相似文献

The study investigates the role structure of managers in China's Henan province. The results produce a two-facet classification consistent with Shapira and Dunbar's findings for North American managers, yet displaying a number of unique features attributed to the Chinese business environment. The leader's role of the Chinese manager splits into task-related and relationship-oriented activities, and the monitor role is plotted across the informational and decision facets. An addition to this study, the political role is also found across the two facets, providing integration across the various managerial activities. An open system model of the Chinese managerial role is proposed.  相似文献

Dose proportionality/linearity is a desirable property in pharmacokinetic studies. Various methods have been proposed for its assessment. When dose proportionality is not established, it is of interest to evaluate the degree of departure from dose linearity. In this paper, we propose a measure of departure from dose linearity and derive an asymptotic test under a repeated measures incomplete block design using a slope approach. Simulation studies show that the proposed method has a satisfactory small sample performance in terms of size and power.  相似文献

Work rehabilitation programs targeting different client groups are available in nearly all major hospital occupational therapy departments in Hong Kong. Clients receiving work rehabilitation are referred from various out-patient clinics and other occupational therapists. Those clients experience limitation in work after their injuries or diseases and plan to return to work after rehabilitation. Program objectives are 1) to assist clients to reach maximum work capacity as rapidly as possible 2) to ensure clients return to work safely 3) to improve clients' work readiness. This case report describes an individualized work simulation program at a general hospital in Hong Kong provided for a typical client who is preparing to return to his worker role. Specific job analysis, goals and program rationale for the client are discussed.  相似文献
