加强高等学校自身发展建设努力提高新生报到率

近几年来随着社会经济和高等教育的发展,高等学校招生计划近几年来逐年增加,广大考生升入大学的机会也就大大增加,然而在入学报到时不少考生在接到录取通知书后,因为各种原因放弃了录取资格,出现部分考生不报到的现象。这既有高等教育体制方面的原因,也有社会方面的原因,更有高等院校自身的原因。这样不仅浪费了国家教育资源,损害了部分落榜生的升学权益,已经成为招生工作中一个较为严重并值得高等院校重视的问题。作者提出了通过加强高等学校自身建设,有效提高新生报到率的主要措施:抓好师资队伍建设,提高教学水平;根据学校的长远规划,进行科学合理的专业结构调整;优化教学资源配置,保障良好的后勤服务;客观实际地开展招生宣传工作,提高学校在学生及其家长心目中的知名度。

心电信号实验研究系统设计

本文设计了一个心电信号实验研究系统,系统可以采集、模拟任意导联心电信号,并将结果存储到心电数据库供研究分析使用。采集模拟仪采集或模拟可以采集任意导联、正常、异常心电信号,并保存结果;心电数据库以采集模拟仪为工具,在完成一些心电处理实验的基础上,采集并存储各种参数的心电信号,提供第三方研究使用。采集模拟仪和心电数据库组成一个实用系统,为心电信号的研究分析和相关仪器的开发提供了一个优秀的实验研究平台。     

论萧友梅对我国早期音乐教育的贡献

我国的音乐教育是在20世纪初,伴随着众多西方科学知识的涌入和新式学堂的建立以及中国近代音乐的发展才正式拉开帷幕的。这条从无到有的探索之路倾注了几代音乐教育家的心血,其中贡献最大的当数我国近代音乐教育宗师之一的萧友梅。本文从音乐家的生平、教育思想和教育提案三个方面来论述萧友梅先生对中国早期音乐教育的杰出贡献。     

Discriminatory language in the workplace: unmasking prejudices and stereotypes / El lenguaje discriminatorio en contextos laborales: desenmascarando prejuicios y estereotipos

The link between language, communication and open discrimination has been the focus of numerous studies. For many years, language has been a vehicle of prejudice and negative stereotypes. However, in the last few years, overt verbal aggressions have diminished thanks to the implementation of equality policies and awareness-raising initiatives. Despite that, negative attitudes against protected groups might not have disappeared and may instead be transmitted subtly, such as through uncivil language. The goal of this research is to study the relation between language and subtle discrimination against lesbian and gay (LG) workers. With this goal in mind, 39 in-depth interviews were conducted. The analysis showed that LG people are victims of subtle discrimination and that language is one of the most common vehicles of prejudice and negative stereotypes. Jokes, inappropriate comments and questions are the expression of negative attitudes, which are probably present at an implicit level. Due to the ambiguity of these expressions and the settings where they have been studied — the workplace — these acts could be defined as uncivil behaviours. Practical implications, limitations and directions for future research are discussed.

“We’re a movement”: crowdfunding,journalism, and feminism

As media organizations struggle to remain financially viable, and layoffs become more common, crowdfunding has been championed as one way for journalists to finance new ventures and create work outside of mainstream media. There is a growing body of research that is starting to critically examine the relationship between journalism and crowdfunding. This research, however, has tended to look at journalism as a whole, rather than specific genres. The purpose of this paper is to look at how crowdfunding is being used to create feminist online magazines, online spaces, and freelance journalism to tell stories about women, or aimed at a female-identified audience. It argues that beyond simply wanting to write and produce content the hope is to create change and often the crowdfunding campaigns are positioned as trying to create a “community” and/or a “movement.” This article uses a political economic framework, drawing on the concept of structuration, to analyze how these crowdfunding campaigns are being used to push back against, and open up, mainstream dialogues of what it means to be a woman or female-identified, as well as create safe and open spaces for these conversations.     

族裔聚居区的经济与社会——对聚居区族裔经济理论的检视与反思

族裔聚居区是国际移民社会中的一个常见现象,它的发展与治理形态对于国际移民及其移居国都具有重要影响。基于族裔聚居区而展开的个体或群体行为研究已经取得了丰硕的成果,但这些研究更多的是从族裔聚居区内在的结构来分析其对族裔经济、社会发展以及移民社会融入的影响。本文在细致梳理族裔聚居区研究理论发展脉络的基础上,检视族裔聚居区经济理论"从社会看经济"研究路径的内在逻辑,并剖析其分析概念和架构的局限所在,进而提出"从经济看社会"路径在未来族裔聚居区研究中的可能与可为。本文认为,"从经济看社会"有助于将族裔聚居区重新置于研究分析的中心位置,并跳出原有的"隔离—融入"(边缘—主流)的二元对立分析框架,在一个多元的视角中,以族裔聚居区为中心来审视作为不同族裔的国际移民群体之间、移民群体与本土其他族裔群体之间由于冲突、合作与博弈构成的社区结构以及身处其中的个体的行为选择。
