中国行业协会自律职能缺失的原因分析——基于角色冲突的分析框架

行业协会的重要职能之一就是促进行业自律,行业自律是对政府监管的重要补充。但在现实中,许多行业组织没有充分发挥自律的作用,有些甚至成为行业垄断和价格联盟的工具。从行业协会的层面剖析,这主要是由行业协会自身的角色冲突引起的。这种角色冲突主要表现为其在性质上的公益与私益的冲突,这属于角色利益的冲突;范畴上营利与非营利的冲突,这属于角色目标与角色执行的冲突;功能上的管理与服从的冲突,这属于角色规范的冲突;价值取向上的"义"与"利"冲突,这属于角色认同的冲突。     

不确定流动性需求与银行资产证券化最优规模

本文建立了一个两期模型,分析了风险规避的银行面临未来不确定的流动性需求时,市场流动性预期、放贷规模与资产证券化规模之间的关系。本文发现:首先,只有未来的流动性需求存在不确定性时,银行才会进行资产证券化。其次,最优资产证券化规模与银行权益资本的规模存在非单调的关系,权益资本较少或较多的银行资产证券化水平都比较低。再次,如果银行高估了未来资产市场的流动性,会导致过度放贷和过度资产证券化,破产概率上升。最后,文献中通常使用出售银行贷款来刻画资产证券化的做法,低估了银行的最优贷款规模和资产证券化规模。     

城市化进程中的文化阈失与理念再造

城市文化的浅薄与粗俗化倾向、短视与功利化倾向、焦虑与浮躁化倾向构成了城市化进程中文化阂失的主要表征。唯GDP的发展观消解了城市发展理念,造成了社会心理的失衡和城市文化的失序;信仰缺失、信任关系淡化则直接导致了城市文化的碎片化;社会阶层断裂,社会关系网格化也催生了城市文化的淡漠和虚拟。城市化进程中实现科学理性与人文精神的相得益彰、历史传统与时代精神融会的贯通以及世界文明与民族特色的和谐包容呼唤城市发展理念的更新与再造。     

样本选择性偏误、TS2SLS估计与我国代际收入流动性水平

我国公开使用的微观调查数据库追踪时间较短,从单独一个数据库中整理出的父子配对样本存在因共同居住而产生的样本选择性偏误.本文尝试从两个数据库获得双样本来估计代际收入流动性水平,比较分析双样本两阶段最小二乘方法(TS2SLS)的优良性质,并以CHNS数据库作为主样本、CHIP数据库作为辅样本进行了实证研究.研究结果表明,TS2SLS估计方法得到父子、母子代际收入弹性系数值分别为0.4937和0.5134,高于文献中通常采用单样本OLS或者Ⅳ方法的估计值,有效改善了代际弹性系数的估计偏误.     

中国省际区域家庭债务的空间关联及其解释

文章基于2004-2015年中国省际家庭债务数据,通过构建空间计量SLM及SEM模型,研究了省际区域家庭债务的空间相关性.结果显示:(1)我国家庭债务在空间分布上表现出集聚效应,且样本期间的Mo-ran'sI指数显著为正,这表明我国家庭债务具有正向的空间相关性;(2)空间相关性对区域家庭债务的增长产生了显著正向影响,即一个地区家庭债务的增长将通过空间溢出促进周边地区家庭债务的增长;(3)住房价格及人均收入水平对家庭债务有显著正向影响,而人均储蓄对家庭债务的影响为负,经济发展水平对家庭债务的影响并不显著.     

Exact inference for exponential distribution with multiply Type-I censored data

In this paper, we focus on exact inference for exponential distribution under multiple Type-I censoring, which is a general form of Type-I censoring and represents that the units are terminated at different times. The maximum likelihood estimate of mean parameter is calculated. Further, the distribution of maximum likelihood estimate is derived and it yields an exact lower confidence limit for the mean parameter. Based on a simulation study, we conclude that the exact limit outperforms the bootstrap limit in terms of the coverage probability and average limit. Finally, a real dataset is analyzed for illustration.     

Testing serial correlation in partially linear models with validation data

This article investigates the testing for serial correlation in partially linear models with validation data and applies the empirical likelihood methods to construct serial tests statistics, and then we derive the asymptotic distribution of the test statistics under null hypothesis. Simulation results show that our method performs well.     

Nonparametric regression method for broad sense agreement

Characterising the correspondence between an ordinal measurement and a continuous measurement is often of interest in mental health studies. To this end Peng et al. [(2011), ‘A Framework for Assessing Broad Sense Agreement Between Ordinal and Continuous Measurements’, Journal of the American Statistical Association, 106, 1592–1601] introduced the concept of broad sense agreement (BSA) and developed nonparametric estimation and inference for a BSA measure. In this work, we propose a nonparametric regression framework for BSA, which provides a robust tool to further investigate population heterogeneity in BSA. We develop inferential procedures including regression function estimation and hypothesis testing. Extensive simulation studies demonstrate satisfactory performance of the proposed method. We also apply the new method to a recent Grady Trauma Study and reveal an interesting impact of depression severity on the alignment between a self-reported symptom instrument and clinician diagnosis in posttraumatic stress disorder patients.     

Grandparenting and support from adult children: Does children’s international migration make a difference for Chinese older adults?

ABSTRACT

Guided by social exchange theory, this study investigates the association between grandparenting and support from adult children, and the role of children’s international migration in moderating such association. Data were derived from a 2012 survey of older adults in Beijing, China (478 adult children nested in 300 older parents). The results of independent cluster logistic and linear regressions showed that regardless of children’s migration status, grandparenting was significantly associated with a greater likelihood of receiving household help and personal care, but not with emotional or financial support from children. Children’s migration status moderated the associations between grandparenting and receiving support from children. Theoretical implications for research and practical implications for services and policies are discussed.
