亚里士多德《修辞学》中“dialectic”一词的翻译

正确理解术语“dialectic”是理解亚里士多德修辞学的关键之一。这一术语在亚里士多德《修辞学》的两个中译本中有着“论辩术”和“辩证法”两个不同的译名。文章试从词源、词义的演变、词的译介以及亚里士多德本人的观点四个方面探讨“dialectic”的意义和翻译，指出“辩证法”译名的不科学性，并提出了翻译处理的建议。     

重译中的误读和误译——基于《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》的研究

以阐释学的"前理解"和"偏见"理论、接受美学家对阅读和读者"期待视野"的相关论点为依据,针对文学名著在重译过程中的误读和误译作深入比较研究,批评了以往‘误译即错误的翻译,的简单论调.以<哈克贝利·费恩历险记>改革开放前、后两个阶段不同的译本为例,后来的重译本中也存在不少的误读与误译.误译分为语言学(微观)误译和文化(宏观)误译.语言学误译可能是由于拼写错误等导致的.文化误译又细分为有意误译和无意误译.拼写错误等无意误译都应该尽量避免.然而有意误译是可以原谅和接受的,是基于归化或异化的需要,是创造性叛逆.总之,误读、误译与重译相伴相生,是译者主体性的彰显.     

Data skeletons: simultaneous estimation of multiple quantiles for massive streaming datasets with applications to density estimation

We consider the problem of density estimation when the data is in the form of a continuous stream with no fixed length. In this setting, implementations of the usual methods of density estimation such as kernel density estimation are problematic. We propose a method of density estimation for massive datasets that is based upon taking the derivative of a smooth curve that has been fit through a set of quantile estimates. To achieve this, a low-storage, single-pass, sequential method is proposed for simultaneous estimation of multiple quantiles for massive datasets that form the basis of this method of density estimation. For comparison, we also consider a sequential kernel density estimator. The proposed methods are shown through simulation study to perform well and to have several distinct advantages over existing methods.     

Goodness‐of‐fit methods for matched case‐control studies

The authors propose graphical and numerical methods for checking the adequacy of the logistic regression model for matched case‐control data. Their approach is based on the cumulative sum of residuals over the covariate or linear predictor. Under the assumed model, the cumulative residual process converges weakly to a centered Gaussian limit whose distribution can be approximated via computer simulation. The observed cumulative residual pattern can then be compared both visually and analytically to a certain number of simulated realizations of the approximate limiting process under the null hypothesis. The proposed techniques allow one to check the functional form of each covariate, the logistic link function as well as the overall model adequacy. The authors assess the performance of the proposed methods through simulation studies and illustrate them using data from a cardiovascular study.

农户对农村公共服务的需求意愿分析 ———基于一项全国范围农户调查的实证研究

文章基于一项关于农户对农村公共服务需求意愿的全国范围的调查数据，分析了农户对农村义务教育、农村医疗卫生、农村社会保障、农村文化事业、农村劳动力技能培训这5种农村公共服务的整体需求意愿及不同特征农户需求意愿的差别、农户对5种农村公共服务各个方面要素的需求意愿以及农户对5种农村公共服务需求的优先序。研究结果表明农户对5种农村公共服务的整体需求意愿并不相同，对农村劳动力技能培训的需求最强烈，不同特征的农户的需求意愿也不相同。另外与其他农村公共产品相比，农户对文章所研究的5种农村公共服务的需求意愿比较强烈。

沿海经济发达区种植业集约度评价研究

评价区域种植业集约化程度,对于研究区域种植业持续健康发展对策建议具有重要的理论和实践意义。本研究采用种植业集约度评价种植业投入产出总体集约化程度,采用指数和法评价区域种植业集约度。以山东省寿光市为研究区,选取确定了11个评价指标及其评分分级标准和权重,评价结果表明:寿光市经过24年(1980-2004)的时间,种植业集约度大幅度提高,集约度指数由1980年的46.9上升到2004年的87.3,增长幅度为86.1%,集约度指数等级由6级提高到1级。2004年寿光市种植业集约度明显高于全国和山东省平均水平,集约度指数高于全国平均水平29.3%,高出3个等级;高于山东省平均水平8.8%,高出1个等级。
