京津冀协同发展背景下安国市城镇体系发展对策分析

京津冀协同发展为保定市发展带来了机会,保定市也为此作出积极准备,提出“城市向北”和“一城三星一淀”的重要举措。安国市是保定市辖区内发展较好的县级城市,在“大保定”南侧区域城镇化进程中发挥着重要作用。安国市可以依托产业优势和区位优势逐步发展成为保定市南部的子中心城市,与西部的定州市相融合,成为保定市南部的“双子中心”,在构建“京津石三角形”过程中发挥节点城市作用。安国市的行政区划特征适合以同心圆方式进行城镇化,这需要以构建南北方向和东西方向的主干交通线为前提,并在行政区划内构建辐射状的交通网络,将镇级中心地连接在一起,以“马蹄”形层级城镇体系为基础提升整个区域的城镇化水平。     

Uniform consistency rate of kNN regression estimation for functional time series data

In this paper, we investigate the k-nearest neighbours (kNN) estimation of nonparametric regression model for strong mixing functional time series data. More precisely, we establish the uniform almost complete convergence rate of the kNN estimator under some mild conditions. Furthermore, a simulation study and an empirical application to the real data analysis of sea surface temperature (SST) are carried out to illustrate the finite sample performances and the usefulness of the kNN approach.     

西方人类学发展史的再认识与中国人类学的未来——在"他者"中理解"自我"

中国人类学在重建后经过了20多年的发展,仿佛依然"孤悬"在国际人类学界之外,未能真正"与国际接轨".究其原因,主要还是由于没有抓住西方人类学的核心问题,对其认识不足、把握不透所至."自我"和"他者"问题作为人类学发展的灵魂,激励了一代代西方人类学家从不同角度对其进行探索和反思,将该学科一步步地向前推进.采用"自我"和"他者"的视角重新认识和把握西方人类学发展史,有利于更好的理解该学科的本质,从中吸取经验教训,从而为中国人类学的未来发展注入新的活力.

我国现阶段社会养老保险的发展状况和问题及政策分析

社会养老保险制度是解决老年人经济保障的主要途径,但目前我国的社会养老保险制度还处于起步或初期发展的阶段,存在大量的现实问题。本文论述了我国社会养老保险发展的基本状况、我国老年人经济保障的基本状况、我国社会养老保险面临的主要问题,并提出建立和完善我国社会养老保险体系的对策思考。     

Predicting the recipients of social work support,and its impact on emotional and behavioural problems in early childhood

This paper examines the recipients of social work support in the Millennium Cohort Study. Using panel analysis and fixed effects models, it investigates the factors that lead to the receipt of any type of social work support for individuals with young children and the effects of this support on changes in the prevalence of emotional and behavioural problems in these children. We find that divorce or separation, and episodes of homelessness are two important factors that lead to the receipt of social work support. Mothers with male children are also more likely to receive social work support. However, we find no clear evidence that social work support has any effect on changes in children's emotional and behavioural problems over time. The implications of these findings for social work research and for practice and policy are discussed.     

Patriarchal capitalism with Chinese characteristics: gendered discourse of ‘Double Eleven’ shopping festival

In this article we consider the Double Eleven shopping festival as a major discursive site where the hegemony of what we call patriarchal capitalism with Chinese characteristics is articulated. The state, the market, the corporations and the media, both mainstream and social media, all played an important role in building up a national spending spree that is deeply embedded in the current class and gender structure of China. The phenomenon of Double Eleven emerged at a time when state capitalism has been overwriting socialist institutions, while patriarchal ideology being further intensified through consumerism. As a consequence, the intersectionality of class and gender becomes increasingly manifest in the Chinese society. We start with a brief overview of the trajectory of gender politics in China since 1949, with specific focus on how the socialist project of seeking gender equality was gradually replaced by the quest for ‘womanhood’ and ‘femininity’. We then discuss, using both secondary sources and our own analysis of news coverage of Double Eleven, why maintaining a high level of consumer demand is of crucial importance for the Chinese state and what the state’s role has been in configuring the hegemonic gender order. A brief section on ideology and discourse lays out the conceptual framework of our analysis. It is at the intersection of a dissipating socialist ethos, emerging economic stagnation and ascending consumerism that the sexist discourse in relation to Double Eleven proliferates, and this is the analytical focus of our empirical section. We elaborate on the theoretical implications of the empirical analysis before concluding.     

Children of Migrants: The Cumulative Impact of Parental Migration on Children’s Education and Health Outcomes in China

Since the end of 1990s, approximately 160 million Chinese rural workers migrated to cities for work. Because of restrictions on migrant access to local health and education systems, many rural children are left behind in home villages to grow up without parental care. This article examines how exposure to cumulative parental migration affects children’s health and education outcomes. Using the Rural-Urban Migration Survey in China (RUMiC) data, we measure the share of children’s lifetime during which parents were away from home. We instrument this measure of parental absence with weather changes in their home villages when parents were aged 16–25, when they were most likely to initiate migration. Results show a sizable adverse effect of exposure to parental migration on the health and education outcomes of children: in particular, boys. We also find that the use of the contemporaneous measure for parental migration in previous studies is likely to underestimate the effect of exposure to parental migration on children’s outcomes.

为了实现城市生活垃圾从源头上减量化和垃圾处理产业化的目标,北京市即将逐步推行城市生活垃圾计量收费制。本文针对北京市生活垃圾及其收费的现状与问题,探讨了计量收费模式的合理性和可行性,设计了计量收费模式的定价标准方案,并提出了相关建议。
