晚清咸同时期士绅政治文化考察——以“团练”议论为中心

晚清地方军事化是中国近代社会的一个异象,这一现象不仅深刻地影响了地方社会的政治生态,也影响到国家权力与地方社会的关系格局,团练则是彼时地方军事化的主要表现形式。咸同军兴背景之下,很多士绅对于＂团练＂话题的热议,既是士绅阶层对王朝危机的＂救道＂责任感使然,亦是士绅阶层对地方政治参与意愿的体现。＂团练＂话题之兴构成了咸同时期士绅阶层政治文化独特面相。     

简评日本的统计体制改革

2007年5月日本国会通过《统计法案》后,日本统计体制改革正式进入实施阶段。这次改革涉及日本统计体制在发展方向,政府统计基本原则,中央和地方政府统计职能关系、统计事业发展规划、政府统计项目分类以及设立统计综合协调机构等方面的调整。本文对该项改革的主要内容进行了归纳,并就改革涉及的统计委员会的地位和作用、政府统计的基本原则和官方统计调查领域向民间开放等问题提出了评析意见。希冀对我国统计管理体制研究有所启发。     

大数据时代对传统统计学变革的思考

本文在大数据时代背景下,将统计学与大数据有机地结合,剖析了大数据时代给统计学带来的变革,阐述了大数据为传统统计学带来的发展机遇。在大数据时代,为了保持统计学旺盛的生命力,本文对统计学的发展提出了几点思考。     

A PTAS for the minimum weighted dominating set problem with smooth weights on unit disk graphs

In the minimum weighted dominating set problem (MWDS), we are given a unit disk graph with non-negative weight on each vertex. The MWDS seeks a subset of the vertices of the graph with minimum total weight such that each vertex of the graph is either in the subset or adjacent to some nodes in the subset. A?weight function is called smooth, if the ratio of the weights of any two adjacent nodes is upper bounded by a constant. MWDS is known to be NP-hard. In this paper, we give the first polynomial time approximation scheme (PTAS) for MWDS with smooth weights on unit disk graphs, which achieves a (1+ε)-approximation for MWDS, for any ε>0.     

从"美国化"到"本土化": 清华国学研究院的缘起

随着五四新文化运动在中国社会各个角落的展开,清华园里相应地出现了一股文化运动的思潮,当时称之为"清华文化运动"。在这场文化运动中,感染时代精神的清华师生们,开始以犀利的眼光,反省清华教育中的"美国化",重新检讨清华在中国现代化进程中的作用和地位,从而形成了中西文化调和的校园思想氛围。深处其间的清华学子们,同时感受"整理国故"运动的强烈影响,于是从批评学校忽略中文教育发端,而后扩展至呼吁学校加强国学教育,直到最后在多重因素的衡量之下,校方遂在清华改办大学之际,创立了旨在"中西并重、新旧沟通"的国学研究院。     

Looking Upstream: Optimal Policies for a Class of Capacitated Multi‐Stage Inventory Systems

We consider a multi‐stage inventory system with stochastic demand and processing capacity constraints at each stage, for both finite‐horizon and infinite‐horizon, discounted‐cost settings. For a class of such systems characterized by having the smallest capacity at the most downstream stage and system utilization above a certain threshold, we identify the structure of the optimal policy, which represents a novel variation of the order‐up‐to policy. We find the explicit functional form of the optimal order‐up‐to levels, and show that they depend (only) on upstream echelon inventories. We establish that, above the threshold utilization, this optimal policy achieves the decomposition of the multidimensional objective cost function for the system into a sum of single‐dimensional convex functions. This decomposition eliminates the curse of dimensionality and allows us to numerically solve the problem. We provide a fast algorithm to determine a (tight) upper bound on this threshold utilization for capacity‐constrained inventory problems with an arbitrary number of stages. We make use of this algorithm to quantify upper bounds on the threshold utilization for three‐, four‐, and five‐stage capacitated systems over a range of model parameters, and discuss insights that emerge.     

Perceptions of charisma from thin slices of behavior predict leadership prototypicality judgments

Signaling theory suggests that people use cues transmitted by leaders to form impressions of charisma but the validity of these impressions remains unexplored. Here, we examined whether perceptions of charisma from thin slices of nonverbal behavior relate to inferences based on more information. We tested whether ratings of charisma from 5-, 15-, and 30-s clips (with no audio) of speakers delivering a message predicted evaluations of vision articulation and leadership prototypicality made from 60-s multimedia clips (with audio). The results indicated that thin-slice charisma judgments predicted the criterion scores for leadership prototypicality but not vision articulation from all of the 5-, 15-, and 30-s silent clips. The current data therefore suggest that thin slices of charisma can be valid indicators of leadership.     

论高校创新创业教育体系的构建

高校创新创业教育的组织管理往往受到部门分割的制约而不能形成合力,对于创新创业教育内涵的片面认识又常常导致将其看成解决学生就业问题的短期行为。高校必须明确创新创业教育的目标,从人才培养的高度对学校创新创业教育进行整体设计,选择适合自身的教育模式,并从创新创业教育的组织管理、创新创业教育的课程体系、创新创业教育的实践体系等方面构建高校创新创业教育体系。
