Further results for parallel systems with two heterogeneous exponential components

In this paper, we investigate ordering properties of lifetimes of parallel systems with two independent heterogeneous exponential components with respect to likelihood ratio and hazard rate orders. Two sufficient conditions are provided for likelihood ratio and hazard rate orders to hold between the lifetimes of two parallel systems, respectively. Moreover, we extend the results from exponential case to the proportional hazard rate models. The results established here strength some of the results known in the literature. Finally, some numerical examples are given to illustrate the theoretical results derived here as well.

《南京条约》与英国在华治外法权的取得

鸦片战争以前 ,英国便企图以国内立法并采取各种手段获取在华治外法权 ,但均未成功。鸦片战争后 ,英国迫使清政府签订《南京条约》 ,最终通过其附件《五口通商章程》 ,以解决所谓的通商善后问题的方式攫夺了此项非法特权 ,首开了外人在华享有治外法权的恶例。     

Sr2CeO4荧光粉的制备与发光性能研究

以铈、锶的碳酸盐与柠檬酸为原料用改良柠檬酸-凝胶法合成了Sr2CeO4荧光粉,用荧光光谱(PL)检测Sr2CeO4的发光性能.实验研究发现,用改良柠檬酸-凝胶法合成的Sr2CeO4荧光粉具有宽带光谱,发射光谱的最大峰位于467 nm;研究还发现,恰当的焙烧温度,加入少量硝酸铵有利于获得发光亮度高的Sr2CeO4粉末.

The minimal overlap rule revisited

This paper provides an analysis of the Minimal Overlap Rule, a solution for bankruptcy problems introduced by O’Neill (1982). We point out that this rule can be understood as a composition of Ibn Ezra’s proposal and the recommendation given by the Constrained Equal Loss Rule. Following an interpretation of bankruptcy problems in terms of TU games, we show that the Minimal Overlap Value is the unique solution for bankruptcy games which satisfies Anonymity and Core Transition Responsiveness.
