This study aims at ascertaining how Hong Kong people perceive Hong Kong as a harmonious society. It also identifies the elements
that are most conducive to social harmony in Hong Kong, so that the government could take reference when formulating new policies.
1,062 adults residents were asked to rate their perceived level of social harmony and their satisfaction with 36 items (divided
into three dimensions: public governance, society, and economy, family and work) for which the research team believes would
be influencing the perceived level of social harmony. Results show that the average rating of social harmony was 5.57 (out
of 10), delineating a moderate level of social harmony. Subsequent multivariate factor analysis and regression analysis show
that the four extracted factors (from the three dimensions) had significant impacts on the level of social harmony. These
were, in order of significance: (a) public governance, (b) social solidarity and respect, (c) economy/family/work and, (d)
social tolerance and progressiveness. According to the factor loadings of each significant factor, we identified four core
values which we hope the government would consider when formulating new policies, as follows: (1) A Justice Government with
Sincerity on Communication, (2) Mutual Support and Respect with Integrity and Dedication, (3) Dedication to One’s Job and
Community by Helping the Needed and, (4) Creativity and Progressiveness with Tolerance. Implications for policy making are
discussed.

广州市现有市级以上非物质文化遗产180余项,其数字化保护方面存在着制度不完善、人才匮乏、技术规则无统一标准等困境,课题组调研后建议从三个方面推动非遗数字化保护:一是制定平台建设、非遗信息采集、传承人知识产权保护、非遗产业化开发等方面的操作制度,推动非遗数字化进程;二是编制科学规划,分阶段实现非遗项目的深度数字化;三是加强与大、中小学合作,尤其是加强与职业类院校合作,推动非遗传承人走进职业院校成立"技能大师工作室",发掘培养潜在传承人,建立专业人才队伍. 相似文献

Scant research exists on the development of mostly heterosexual identity, the largest sexual orientation minority subgroup. We used longitudinal latent class analysis to characterize the patterns of identification with lesbian, gay, bisexual (LGB), or mostly heterosexual identities from ages 12 to 23 in 13,859 youth (57% female) in a U.S. national cohort. Three classes emerged: completely heterosexual (88.2%), mostly heterosexual (9.5%), and LGB (2.4%). LGB class youth generally identified with sexual minority identities by ages 12–17. In contrast, mostly heterosexual class youth identified with sexual minority identities gradually, with steady increases in endorsement starting at the age of 14. Developmental implications of these differential patterns are discussed. 相似文献

ABSTRACTLack of proficiency in writing and research among social work students has increasingly concerned social work educators and practitioners. Given the significance of written communication with clients and emphasis on evidence-based practice in the field of social work, it is critical to assess students’ competence in both writing and research. However, deficit-based approaches to assessing writing and research competence have disadvantaged students at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). This pilot study aims to assess writing and research proficiency of HBCU master’s of social work (MSW) students through empirical analysis of their capstone papers and surveys from educators to provide implications for developing a writing and research manual for social work programs at HBCUs. Ten capstone papers were randomly selected and qualitatively analyzed; nine faculty and one field supervisor completed the survey, and their respondents were analyzed using cross-case analysis. Analyses of the capstone papers identified two themes for writing and research domains, respectively: (1) weakness in developing statements and lack of knowledge of writing style and (2) plagiarism and lack of understanding of research structure. Moreover, analyses of the surveys revealed four themes regarding assessment of writing and research skills among students struggling with basic writing mechanics, indicating that HBCU MSW students may have potential and capacity for learning, as evidenced by their ideas and critical thinking skills. These findings suggest both teaching- and research-oriented programs could employ the proposed writing and research assessment manual, as well as a writing and research lab/center for improving writing and research skills among their students. 相似文献
