摩天时代背景下当代城市建设的反思

摩天大楼成为近年来中国城市建设的重要特征。摩天大楼时代到来的同时，也带来了高楼建筑的社会问题，如安全问题、能原消耗问题、投资风险等。欧洲城市在建造高楼方面，保持了克制与理智的态度，欧洲国家纷纷制定各种法令限制摩天大楼的建设。作为河北省省会城市，2008年开始的“三年大变样”，使石家庄的城市建设步入摩天时代。2012年，石家庄市城乡规划局出台了《石家庄市城市风貌特色管理暂行规定》，石家庄将加强城市风貌特色管理，提高城市品位。人与高楼的和谐共融才是城市建筑存在的重要意义，如此，高楼大厦才会有灵魂，城市才会有未     

CEO–TMT exchange,TMT personality composition,and decision quality: The mediating role of TMT psychological empowerment

This research draws on the upper-echelons perspective to examine the effects of CEO–top management team (TMT) exchange quality and TMT personality composition on decision quality through the mediation of TMT psychological empowerment. Using survey data from more than 700 executives in 210 firms in a Middle Eastern country and adopting a split-data approach, we find that CEO–TMT exchange quality can advance TMT psychological empowerment. We also find that TMT neuroticism has a negative effect on TMT psychological empowerment, while TMT conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and openness have positive effects. Moreover, TMT psychological empowerment plays a mediating role in linking CEO–TMT exchange quality and TMT personality composition with decision quality. Our research contributes to the upper-echelons, leader–member exchange (LMX), and decision-making literature by drawing attention to the social dynamics between CEO and TMT members, as well as the psychological characteristics and psychological states of TMT members, and their implications for strategic decisions.     

《蝴蝶君》的个人主体性研究

对于华裔美国作家黄哲伦舞台剧《蝴蝶君》的讨论,普遍着重于后殖民与性别的相关议题。本文则以个人的主体性为主要关注,并肯定本剧实为一出浪漫悲剧。试图借由黑格尔对于浪漫精神的定义与解说,用以诠释加利马在剧中的幡然醒悟,尤其是最后以死明志,透过否定的否定,在其内在的和解,亦即在绝对的精神主体里肯定自身的存在价值,体现黑格尔所谓的浪漫精神。     

Local estimation for varying-coefficient models with longitudinal data

Varying-coefficient models are very useful for longitudinal data analysis. In this paper, we focus on varying-coefficient models for longitudinal data. We develop a new estimation procedure using Cholesky decomposition and profile least squares techniques. Asymptotic normality for the proposed estimators of varying-coefficient functions has been established. Monte Carlo simulation studies show excellent finite-sample performance. We illustrate our methods with a real data example.     

Complete moment convergence and Lr convergence for asymptotically almost negatively associated random variables

In this paper, we investigate the complete moment convergence and L_r convergence for maximal partial sums of asymptotically almost negatively associated random variables under some general conditions. The results obtained in the paper generalize some corresponding ones for negatively associated random variables.     

How Gratitude Influences Well-Being: A Structural Equation Modeling Approach

The main purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among gratitude, social support, coping style, and well-being. In total, 750 undergraduate participants completed four inventories measuring the variables of interest. Analyses of structural equation modeling found that gratitude had direct effects on undergraduates’ active coping styles, social support, and well-being. In addition, gratitude had indirect effects on undergraduates’ well-being via an active coping style and social support, and social support had direct effects on undergraduates’ active coping styles. These results support the proposed model of well-being and contribute to the understanding of how gratitude influences undergraduates’ well-being via interpersonal and cognitive variables.     

A grounded theory of living a life with a physical disability in Taiwan

This study explores the experiences of disability for a number of Taiwanese adults with a physical disability. Using a grounded theory approach, their experiences of living a life with a physical disability were gained through in-depth interviews. The resulting grounded theory ‘it is more than just the impaired body’ presents the dynamic interactions between the participants and the context in which they were living their lives and how they managed their lives within that context. With its inclusion of the cultural dimension, a holistic way of understanding the daily lives of those who experience physical disability in Taiwan is provided.     

Bayesian inference under progressive type-I interval censoring

Bayesian estimation for population parameter under progressive type-I interval censoring is studied via Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) simulation. Two competitive statistical models, generalized exponential and Weibull distributions for modeling a real data set containing 112 patients with plasma cell myeloma, are studied for illustration. In model selection, a novel Bayesian procedure which involves a mixture model is proposed. Then the mix proportion is estimated through MCMC and used as the model selection criterion.

本文归纳总结了切实发挥大众传媒思想政治教育功能应遵循的基本原则,深入分析当前我国发挥大众传媒思想政治教育功能的现状、存在的主要问题以及导致这些问题的原因,并进而深入挖掘隐藏在这些问题背后的深层次制约因素,提出了如何充分发挥大众传媒思想政治教育功能的对策性意见。
