Ordering properties of largest order statistics from independent and heterogeneous Dagum populations

Abstract

The Dagum distribution has been extensively used to model income data, and its features have been appreciated in economics and financial studies. In this article, we discuss ordering properties of largest order statistics from independent and heterogeneous Dagum populations. We present some sufficient conditions for stochastic comparisons between largest order statistics in terms of the reversed hazard rate order, the usual stochastic order, the convex order, the likelihood ratio order and the dispersive order. Several numerical examples are presented to illustrate the results established here.     

Stimulating effects of intelligent policy on the performance of listed manufacturing companies in China

Based on the pilot projects of intelligent manufacturing of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China and the annual data reported by listed companies, this paper studies the effect of China's intelligent policy on the performance of listed manufacturing companies by using the panel data of relevant enterprises from 2011 to 2017, as well as the mechanism of impact. Our empirical tests, using the difference-in-difference method, shows that intelligent policy can significantly improve the economic performance of manufacturing enterprises by guiding enterprises to optimize their intelligent management, strengthening investment in intelligent equipment and promoting collaborative manufacturing. Further empirical tests show that the impact of intelligent policy on economic performance is different in time. In the later selected pilot enterprises, the impact of intelligent policy on their economic performance is more significant; there is regional heterogeneity in the effects of intelligent policy: in regions with low intelligence, the positive impact of intelligent policy on the economic performance of manufacturing industry is more significant. Based on these conclusions, relevant intelligent policy suggestions are put forward.

纵观莫言上世纪八九十年代的小说,总是在语句的链条上打破以语言的线条为基础的逻辑关系,将历时态的词汇转化成共时态的线性排列组合方式,挑战语句成分的完整性和有机性.一方面,采取纵向的隐喻性词汇和横向的转喻性词汇交相叠加的极端方式,造成语句繁杂的结构;另一方面,莫言也有意采取不加标点符号的长句子来试验语句的长度、韧性和力度,借鉴西方意识流的艺术手法,故意运用没有停顿标志的几百字的长句子形成流水一样的审美效果.

Distinction Between Variable Norm and Invariant Norm and Its Academic Significance——A Study Based on the Opposition Between Pragmatics and Norm

There have always been two opposite opinions on the relationship between pragmatics and language norm.Some scholars hold the opinions that language norm is not the shackles of language use,so language users can break the norm occasionally in order to achieve the purpose of communication.Other scholars believe that sticking to the norm is the presupposition of successful communication.According to them,the violation of norm is the negation of the function as well as the necessity of language norm.     

新中国60年政治发展的基本经验

系统总结建国60年来我们在政治发展领域取得的基本经验,是顺利实现中国政治从传统形态走向现代形态的重要前提。主要包括以下一些内容:坚持执政党和政府的权威性、组织化和制度化领导;在尊重基本国情的前提下走渐进式政治发展道路;不同历史时期,在多元要素中以某个要素为中心的整合性均衡为政治发展的复合价值目标;发展公民社会以平衡政治国家,达致国家与社会的和谐共治与良性互动;以党内民主带动、推动国家民主、社会民主;政治与经济、文化、社会应全面协调发展;社会主义民主与法治匹配共进;政府职能转变的关键是政府职能结构的适时重心位移;人民群众的政治创造是政治发展不绝的源泉。     

独立董事勤勉义务边界与免责路径

独立董事须遵循何种勤勉义务以及践行了何种程度的法律义务方能避免问责?这一看似简单明确的问题,在我国却难以发现一个清晰肯定的答案。采纳结果导向的中国独立董事勤勉义务严格责任标准,无助于公司治理水平的提升。域外独立董事勤勉义务标准的实质趋同与一体化标准适用,有助于独立董事勤勉义务边界的确定。相较于独立董事责任限制与责任保险机制,建构我国法律、行政法规与司法解释三位一体的独立董事经营判断规则的勤勉义务免责标准,或许是一个可行的效率性路径。     

论差异性社会的社会逻辑

如果说逻辑是现实世界规律的抽象表达,那么"社会逻辑"就是社会运行的现实统治者,即社会结构、社会控制和社会运行等的"内在规定性".差异性社会重建公共生活、否定同质生活的社会理想,决定着差异性社会不同于同质性社会的社会发展道路,"公共共同体"已成为"社会结构"的内在要求.差异性社会不同利益集团的真实存在,决定着差异性社会的"社会控制"的特殊性,只有通过"权利划界",把不同的权利规约在各自的领域,才有可能促成差异性社会的差异性和谐.同时,差异性社会应该限制差异的扩大,这种对资本创新能力的限制(即"限度差异"),既是差异性社会区别于资本主义社会的重要标志,也是差异性社会良性"社会运行"的保障.
