法学专业实习的“北航模式”——锥形立体结构支撑

专业实习是法学实践教育的重要形式。传统的法学专业实习在实习岗位的专业性、学生自主性、过程控制和协同效果等方面都存在很多问题,实习形式化现象严重。法学专业实习的"北航模式"具有其独特性,即递进式的实习课程设置,在实习定位上强调"看"与"干"的结合;依托与实务部门共建的法学实践教育基地,在实习主体关系上由锥形立体结构支撑;实习过程建立由带队教师和岗位导师按照不同方向联合督促、指导的理论与实践的互动机制。具体实习实践证明,"北航模式"已经产生显著效果。     

Famine,revolt, and the dynastic cycle: population dynamics in historic China

Historians have long noticed that population declines in ancient China often coincided with dynasty changes, and that most of these declines were the result of internecine wars which, in turn, were often initiated by famine or density pressure. Since the interactions between density pressure, internecine wars, and dynasty changes cannot be explained by the traditional age-specific density-dependent population structure, we propose to use a bandit/peasant/ruler occupation-specific population model to interpret the dynamic socio-economic transitions of ancient Chinese population, and provide econometric support to our model. We also highlight the rich dynamics of the composition of human population, a factor which was often neglected in previous research on general populations.This research was partly funded by the Rockefeller Foundation population science grant to C. 筹划复台大计时,国民党直属台湾党部与台调会发生磨擦.在战后台湾接收与重建的过程中,国民党台湾省党部扎根下层社会,主张改革台湾省政,反对贪官污吏中华民国政府与中国国民党中央是两个不同的组织,台湾省行政长官公署与国民党台湾省党部同样如此,不能混为一谈.蒋介石既是国民党总裁,又是国民政府主席,其时还兼行政院长.蒋介石是以国民政府主席兼行政院长身份,调兵镇压"二二八"事件."二二八"事件是一场大规模的、自发的官民冲突.从事件前的群众组织,到事件中的推波助澜,及事件后的妥善处理,国民党台湾省党部都发挥了相当重要的作用,终将政敌陈仪赶走.     

社会生态环境与民生思想的嬗变——孙中山、毛泽东、邓小平、胡锦涛民生思想之逻辑

社会生态环境是由社会政治生态系统、社会经济生态系统、社会文化生态系统所组成。它既是一个政党和政治家思想和施政纲领形成的外部环境因素,同时,又成为推动政党和政治家思想和施政纲领变迁的外在动力。孙中山、毛泽东、邓小平、胡锦涛民生思想和施政纲领之逻辑,根植于中国的社会生态环境之中,并随着我国社会生态环境的变迁而嬗变。这一嬗变既具有历史的继承性和延续性,同时又具有时代的超越和扬弃。     

金毓黻的寂寞身后事

题记：2012年8月3日是著名历史学家、文学家、金石学家、文献学家、考古学家、东北史研究的主要开拓者和奠基人金毓黻先生逝世50周年。金先生是我们辽宁人，他将毕生精力都奉献给了东北的文化建设事业。他是东北有史以来惟一一位可与关内学者比肩的国学大师。他是辽宁乃至全东北人的骄傲，是我们最不应忘记的杰出人物。     

Stochastic functional estimates in longitudinal models with interval-censored anchoring events

Timelines of longitudinal studies are often anchored by specific events. In the absence of the fully observed anchoring event times, the study timeline becomes undefined, and the traditional longitudinal analysis loses its temporal reference. In this paper, we considered an analytical situation where the anchoring events are interval censored. We demonstrated that by expressing the regression parameter estimators as stochastic functionals of a plug-in estimate of the unknown anchoring event time distribution, the standard longitudinal models could be extended to accommodate the situation of less well-defined timelines. We showed that for a broad class of longitudinal models, the functional parameter estimates are consistent and asymptotically normally distributed with a $\sqrt{n}$ convergence rate under mild regularity conditions. Applying the developed theory to linear mixed-effects models, we further proposed a hybrid computational procedure that combines the strengths of the Fisher's scoring method and the expectation-expectation (EM) algorithm for model parameter estimation. We conducted a simulation study to validate the asymptotic properties and to assess the finite sample performance of the proposed method. A real data example was used to illustrate the proposed method. The method fills in a gap in the existing longitudinal analysis methodology for data with less well-defined timelines.
