生活世界与科学真理：解构还是建构——评伽达默尔与胡塞尔“生活世界”思想的分歧

胡塞尔所提出的生活世界的概念,将科学世界包含于其中,是生长着、发展着的世界,它的对立面是笛卡尔的物理主义的世界.伽达默尔的"生活世界"则排除了科学世界,它以科学世界作为批判对象以论证生活世界的"直接有效性",认为生活世界是不可"悬置"、不可反思的.胡塞尔的"生活世界"具有批判性,但更具有建设性,它是真理的广阔而深厚的基础.伽达默尔只关注生活世界概念的批判性而漠视其建设性,他将生活世界的历史性和相对性绝对化,认为其中不存在一致性的真理,暴露了其思想的内在不协调.     

中国民间幻想故事中"魔物"话语的文化解读

中国许多民间幻想故事都有“魔物”意象。魔物的使用不能违背禁令 ,于是 ,故事情节往往围绕着如何使用魔物而展开 ,“禁令→违禁→惩罚”成为这类幻想故事相对固定的结构范式。正角的守禁与反角的违禁以及相应的不同后果 ,构成了魔物话语三种不同的表现形态。同时 ,违禁或守禁取决于人物的道德品质。魔物话语展示了民众鲜明的道德倾向性。     

Testing for a unit root in an arima(p,1,0) signal observed with ma(q) noise

An ARIMA(p,1,0) signal disturbed by MA(q) noise is an ARIMA(p,1, p+q+1) process restricted by nonlinear constraints on parameters. For this model with a unit root the restricted maximum likelihood estimator (RMLE) of the unit root is strongly consistent and it has the same limiting distribution as the ordinary least squares estimator of the unit root in an AR(1) model tabulated by Dickey and Fuller (1979). A modified RMLE is proposed which has the same limiting properties as the RMLE and is computationally much simpler. Simulation results show that our unit root tests based on the modified RMLE perform very well for small samples and compare favorably with the Said and Dickey (1985) tests with respect to both sizes and powers. An illustrative example from sample survey is given.

Kernel Smoothing Density Estimation when Group Membership is Subject to Missing

Density function is a fundamental concept in data analysis. Non-parametric methods including kernel smoothing estimate are available if the data is completely observed. However, in studies such as diagnostic studies following a two-stage design the membership of some of the subjects may be missing. Simply ignoring those subjects with unknown membership is valid only in the MCAR situation. In this paper, we consider kernel smoothing estimate of the density functions, using the inverse probability approaches to address the missing values. We illustrate the approaches with simulation studies and real study data in mental health.
