2008-2009年中国宏观经济分析与预测

厦门大学与新加坡南洋理工大学课题组于200B年8月18日在新加坡举行了中国季度宏观经济模型(CQMM)第五次预测发布.本次预测发布了2008年下半年至2009年共六个季度的中国宏观经济主要指标数据,并根据政策效应模拟结果,对近期我国宏观经济政策进行了评价与展望.

Evaluation of a pilot programme and a follow-up study of infant feeding practices during the scaled-up programme in Botswana

This paper describes the results of two studies concerning a programme to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV in Botswana. The programme included VCT, provision of oral AZT to the HIV infected mothers and to the infant, infant feeding counselling and support, and free provision of formula for infants of HIV infected mothers who opted not to breastfeed. The study evaluating the pilot phase of the programme concluded that the programme should be scaled up. After the programme expanded, a follow-up evaluation of infant feeding practices was conducted. Infant feeding practices differed significantly between intervention and non-intervention sites and between mothers of unknown HIV status, non-infected mothers and HIV-infected mothers. Among the infected mothers who chose exclusive formula feeding, 96% maintained this up to the time of interview. Health workers' knowledge about HIV transmission was weak. Counselling on feeding needs to be improved in many areas.

本文在文献资料、田野调查的基础上 ,通过对基诺、拉祜、佤、傣、哈尼等 5个云南特有少数民族教育发展状况的调研 ,揭示边疆少数民族地区教育发展与建设小康社会的关系。     

乌蒙山区农村社会转型与基督教的影响

“社会主义新农村建设”是当前构建和谐社会的现实任务的一个重要组成部分。它应该强调五个方面——“协调推进农村经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设和党的建设”。这些都密切联系到农村中新老价值观的碰撞、调适、整合,联系到社会转型。这当中,宗教作为既成的社会意识形态和社会组织系统,宗教信徒作为国家公民,都是社会运动中的参与力量与资源。宗教、社会与政府三者之间如何互动,如何实现协调合力,推动社会发展？这成为了需要认真研究的问题．本文本着“一切从实际出发,理论联系实际”的马克思主义认识论原则,重点考察苗族信教群众聚居村寨,力图把握当前西部贫困地区农村社会中,基督教对新农村社区发展的各种影响,实事求是地提出“整合社会既有资源,发展农村和谐社会”的理论思考。

Hiv status and union dissolution in Sub-saharan Africa: The case of Rakai,Uganda

Little is known about the impact of HIV infection on the disruption of families through separation, divorce, and widowhood. Using life tables and multinomial logistic regression, this research examined the influence of HIV status on the risk of separation or divorce and widowhood among women in Rakai, Uganda. The multivariate results revealed that dissolution is more common among HIV-infected women and that infected women in HIV-discordant couples are especially likely to face separation or divorce than women in other HIV-status couples. These results highlight women's vulnerability to the social impact of HIV infection and the importance of dyadic studies of the disruption of unions.

国务院取消部分特种行业、娱乐服务场所的行政审批项目,进一步促进了社会资源的优化配置和市场经济的健康发展,也为治安管理工作提出了新的课题。公安机关面对新的实际,只有牢固树立"执法为民"思想,转变观念,创新管理,才能适应时代发展和进步的要求。
