Batch-Processing Scheduling with Setup Times

The problem is to minimize the total weighted completion time on a single batch-processing machine with setup times. The machine can process a batch of at most B jobs at one time, and the processing time of a batch is given by the longest processing time among the jobs in the batch. The setup time of a batch is given by the largest setup time among the jobs in the batch. This batch-processing problem reduces to the ordinary uni-processor scheduling problem when B = 1. In this paper we focus on the extreme case of B = +, i.e. a batch can contain any number of jobs. We present in this paper a polynomial-time approximation algorithm for the problem with a performance guarantee of 2. We further show that a special case of the problem can be solved in polynomial time.     

The <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>-maxian problem on block graphs

This paper deals with the p-maxian problem on block graphs with unit edge length. It is shown that the two points with maximum distance provide an optimal solution for the 2-maxian problem of block graphs except for K ₃. It can easily be extended to the p-maxian problem of block graphs. So we solve the p-maxian problem on block graphs in linear time.

瑞典是世界上第一个在全国范围内测量顾客满意度的国家,建立了瑞典顾客满意度晴雨表(SCSB).SCSB基于瑞典30多个行业100多个企业的顾客年度调查数据对于整个国家经济产出的质量状况进行测量.根据SCSB 在瑞典前3年的发展状况,针对SCSB对瑞典国内各行业的影响结果进行分析,进而得出推论--顾客满意度在供给相同需求各异的行业偏低;在需求和供给相匹配的行业偏高;在高度依赖重复购买的行业偏高;而在垄断行业偏低.

本文在剖析知识、智慧的概念及其内在关系的基础上,从知识和智慧有机结合角度提出了一种分层次的智慧导向型知识管理分析框架。该框架反映了知识与智慧之间相互补充、相互促进的内在统一性,并分别将知识管理和组织智慧看作手段和导向,给出了知识和智慧两个层面的集成管理策略,体现了一种全新的系统知识管理思想。其目的是使组织更加有效地实施知识管理战略,更好地发挥知识的效能,从而使组织适应环境的变化,达到与环境长期和谐共存。最后指出了本文观点对组织实施知识管理的影响和借鉴作用。

An efficient curve in stochastic capacity expansion

An optimum expansion of a single capacity is considered when the installation cost is very large and future demand is given by an evolving process of Wiener. Risk of expansion is evaluated and included in the decision criteria which links the capacity expansion problem with financial investment theory, Numerical results show the existence of an optimum expansion capacity and an efficient curve which represent the optimum choices with respect to the possible combinations of expansion cost and risk.     

新型镀镍光亮剂SN－1的研制

经过赫尔槽试验，对光亮剂各组分进行筛选，确定了丁炔二醇、环氧乙烷、环氧丙烷、环氧氯丙烷的最佳配比。以磺基甜莱碱的衍生物为整平剂，多元有机酸为干扰离子络合剂，研制了ＳＮ－１镀镍光亮剂。对加入该光亮剂的镀液及镀层的部分性能测试结果表明，该镀镍光亮剂的整平能力、分散能力、深镀能力均较好，出光速度快，有很好的应用前景。
