性别角色差异在话语间接程度中的体现

仅仅用"直接的"和"间接的"两个形容词来区分男女的话语风格特点过于绝对和片面,不能解释生理性别与性别角色不相符的现象.话语间接程度是一个连续统一体,最低间接程度和最高间接程度分列两极.话语分析中的直接与间接程度应从相对而非绝对的角度去分析判断.     

Variables acceptance reliability sampling plan for repairable items

Traditionally, acceptance reliability sampling plans have been developed for non-repairable items. However, the functions required for items become more and more complex and, accordingly, the items are composed of several components and tend to be repairable. In this paper, we consider variables acceptance reliability sampling plan for repairable items. We develop a variables acceptance sampling plan based on the failure and repair data observed during the testing period. It is shown that the developed sampling plan improves the reliability characteristic of the population and that the lifetimes of items before and after the reliability sampling test are stochastically ordered.     

Effects of issue ownership and issue obtrusiveness on corporate reputation at two Korean corporations

This study attempts to identify the effects of issue ownership of a corporation on its reputation, and the moderating effect of issue obtrusiveness. Two representative Korean corporations (Hyundai and SK) were selected and their reputations were measured. It was shown that a corporation, which owns issues that were perceived as important by publics, has a higher corporate reputation. There was no moderating effect of issue obtrusiveness on the relationship between issue ownership and corporate reputation; however, there was a possibility of issue obtrusiveness as an independent variable. Implication for public relations research and practice was discussed.     

The effects of ego-resilience,social support,and depression on suicidal ideation among the elderly in South Korea

South Korea’s elderly suicide rate is not merely the highest among the member nations of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, it is the highest in the world. This study analyzed the effect of ego-resilience and social support on depression and suicidal ideation of the elderly, providing baseline data to aid in the development of preventive programs on elder suicide. We found that ego-resilience is a strong inhibitor of suicidal ideation. Direct and indirect effects of social support on suicidal ideation were especially helpful for elders with mild depression.     

Effects of a participatory ergonomics intervention computer workshop for university students: a pilot intervention to prevent disability in tomorrow's workers

A participatory approach was used to create a computer ergonomics workshop for college students, incorporating an instructional systems design process and adult learning inquiry perspectives. The primary objective of this participatory ergonomic pilot intervention was to involve students throughout the training design process in solving computer workstation ergonomic problems and adopting healthy computing behaviors. Students' level of participation included becoming part of the training design team, a co-facilitator, or a student trainee. A second objective was to examine the translation of an industrial office ergonomics training program into a college computer ergonomics training program. The long term goal was to reduce upper extremity symptoms and disability. The program was piloted at one private university. The three student trainees significantly increased their knowledge of computer ergonomics from 69% of test items answered correctly pre-training to 82% post-training. Trainees were also successful in conducting computer ergonomic evaluations of students' computing work areas. They achieved 100% accuracy in identifying ergonomic problems and proposing solutions in five ergonomic workstation assessments in the field. This approach was successful in creating a sense of ownership among the student developers and facilitators as reflected in their self-reports during a post-intervention debriefing. The results of this pilot study justify formal controlled trials of this intervention in university students, who will become tomorrow's workers.

Korea''s spatial development strategies for an era of globalisation

The impact of globalisation upon the Korean economy is an important issue to Korean researchers. This paper is concerned with the current spatial policy and planning in Korea which is designed to facilitate the benefit from globalisation. As such, the paper discusses the meaning of globalisation in order to provide a framework for the review of policies and strategies. There follows a review of Korean policies within the area which have been adopted, as well as those which are expected to be followed in the future. The paper concludes with some critical comments about the approach which has been followed.

《中兴间气集》与《诗式》先后出现于京城与江南两个地区 ,两书对江南诗人创作不同的评价正反映大历至贞元初诗风的变化 ,表明地方性诗风已上升为主流诗风。高氏的评论是对大历京城诗风的总结 ,是对王、孟清雅范式的传承。皎然诗论及江南诗风就是对已近于僵化的这一诗歌模式的解脱 ,内容上多奇景怪事 ;在语言风格上 ,以口语素词洗脱前期精丽典雅的“时俗”之调。这一变化对中唐诗歌的发展影响甚大。
