Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT; The practice of emotionally focused couple therapy: Creating connection. New York, NY: Brunner‐Routledge) is an evidence‐based couple therapy that aims to create lasting change for couples (Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice, 6(1), 67–79). Although studies have demonstrated strong results in follow‐up (Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, 28(4), 391–398), less is known about relationship functioning across time after therapy has ended. We modelled change in relationship satisfaction and attachment from pre‐therapy through 24 months follow‐up in 32 couples. HLM results confirmed a significant growth pattern demonstrating increases in relationship satisfaction and secure base behaviour and decreases in relationship specific attachment anxiety over the course of therapy and across follow‐up at a decelerated rate. These findings support the theoretical assumption that EFT helps couples engaged in therapy create lasting relationship satisfaction and attachment change. 相似文献

This article describes a child custody case centered on the fitness of the mother, who was involved in an SM relationship with her live-in boyfriend. Although the investigation confirmed that no child abuse had occurred, that the child was unaware of the mother's sexual interests, that there were no incidents of inappropriate sexual activities in front of the minor, and that the child was doing well, the court severely limited the mother's visitation and custody arrangements and ended her alimony. Practitioners of alternative sexual lifestyles have not fared well in child custody hearings, and this case is no exception. The present case indicates how the family court system can be biased against sexual minorities in general and SM practitioners in particular. In addition, the present case demonstrates how the DSM diagnostic criteria can be misused in dealing with alternative lifestyle practitioners. Recommendations for further education of the court and for future research are made. 相似文献

In this paper the theory of the generalized F variate is examined. A large class of statistics is constructed for linear for linear models when the errors are distributed N(0, ∑), where ∑ is positive definite. We propose new practical algorithms to find maximum-cardinality k-plexes in graphs. A k-plex denotes a vertex subset in a graph inducing a subgraph where every vertex has edges to all but at most k vertices in the k-plex. Cliques are 1-plexes. In analogy to the special case of finding maximum-cardinality cliques, finding maximum-cardinality k-plexes is NP-hard. Complementing previous work, we develop exact combinatorial algorithms, which are strongly based on methods from parameterized algorithmics. The experiments with our freely available implementation indicate the competitiveness of our approach, for many real-world graphs outperforming the previously used methods. 相似文献
