影响社员对合作社满意度因素的分析

通过全国部分合作社社员的调查,重点分析了影响合作社社员满意度的因素,并用Logistic模型进行了实证研究。结果表明,社员收入水平,社员入社年数,参加的合作社是否由农民大户发起,合作社是否提供种子和种苗服务、农资供应服务、产品销售服务,合作社是否按股分红是影响社员满意度的显著因素。基于这些实证研究结果,提出了提高社员满意度的相关建议。     

农村空巢老人情感表达的社会学分析

随着我国社会进入转型期,农村家庭结构发生了很大变化,日益增多的农村核心家庭造成了更多农村空巢家庭的出现,且数量呈现上升趋势,致使空巢老人城乡倒置局面的形成,并产生了很多农村空巢家庭问题,其中也包括农村空巢老人的情感表达问题。通过田野调查法对农村空巢老人的情感表达进行调查,并且对老人们的话语进行分析,发现农村空巢老人有着强烈的情感表达,但满足度比较低,造成其情感的"消极化"、"失范化"、"隐秘化"、"空洞化"。随着空巢老人的增加以及情感问题的日益突出,需要国家、社会及其个人多种力量的共同努力,才能更好地解决这一问题。     

从实践层面探讨文化素质教育中的几个问题

文章以素质教育理论为指导 ,从实践层面对理科高校文化素质教育实施过程中在课程设置、课程教学以及人文教师素质和能力现状等方面显露的问题进行了探讨 ,并提出了具有针对性和可操作性的改进措施及建议

Turning the Car Inside Out: Transport, Equity and Environment

"Turning the car inside out" describes how the environmental damage and social exclusion inflicted by the car can only be seen from outside the car. It explains how car use has reshaped land, time use, social relations and economic patterns. It creates ever more pressures for increased car use, yet inevitably leaves the people temporarily or permanently excluded from cars having to negotiate car distances and times. The worst scenario of car saturation is rejected as untenable both because of the permanent social and environmental impact, but also the self-defeating nature of the quest for mobility.     

A note on kernel density estimation for non-negative random variables

Kernel-based density estimation algorithms are inefficient in presence of discontinuities at support endpoints. This is substantially due to the fact that classic kernel density estimators lead to positive estimates beyond the endopoints. If a nonparametric estimate of a density functional is required in determining the bandwidth, then the problem also affects the bandwidth selection procedure. In this paper algorithms for bandwidth selection and kernel density estimation are proposed for non-negative random variables. Furthermore, the methods we propose are compared with some of the principal solutions in the literature through a simulation study.

Maximum Likelihood Estimation of Input Demand Models with Fixed Costs of Adjustment

Traditional models of input demand rely upon convex and symmetric adjustment costs. However, the fortune of this highly restrictive approach is due more to analytical convenience than to empirical relevance. In this note we examine the model under more realistic hypothesis of fixed costs, show that it can be cast in the form of a Double Censored Random Effect Tobit Model, derive its likelihood function, and finally evaluate the performance of the ML estimators through a Monte Carlo experiment. The performances, although strongly dependent on the degree of censoring, appear to be promising.
