中国传统医患诚信模式及其当代价值

中国传统医学强调"医乃仁术"和"医患诚信"等伦理原则,形成了所谓的医患诚信模式。在这种模式中,医患关系建立在医生与患者之间真诚的内心信念和切实的日常行为实践基础上,医患真诚相待是建立良好医患关系的基本要求。医患诚信模式要求医生有为患者谋利益的赤诚之心,也要求医生尊重患者及其决定。医患双方在真诚沟通的基础上共同做出医疗决策。医患诚信模式既坚持了知情同意,又维持了和谐的医患关系,对当代医疗实践具有重要启示意义。     

通州区电子商务企业集聚初探

本文通过分析产业集聚的内涵、通州区电子商务产业集聚现状和相关制约因素,并结合周边地区产业园区竞争的现状,提出增强通州区产业集聚效应的对策。     

中国西部地区承接产业转移力度的空间计量研究

以重庆市为例,采用中国2002-2010年省际面板数据对中国西部地区承接产业转移力度的影响因素进行了空间计量研究。结果表明:成本因素中税收竞争是影响产业转移的关键;投资环境因素中相对经济发展水平、市场化水平对承接力度有显著的抑制作用,相对技术差距有促进作用,相对开放度、工业产业集聚程度和基础设施水平的影响则不显著,其中,相对技术差距的影响最大;市场潜力因素中相对工业成本费用利润率对于产业转移力度有消极的阻碍作用,相对总资产贡献率和产品销售率的影响则有限。鉴于此,提出重庆市提升产业转移力度的政策建议。

由于德国传播研究中批判路径广为人知,以至于在中国传播学界批判路径几乎成为德国传播研究的代名词,也因此使得德国传播研究的另一条路径,几乎为人们所忽视.关于思辨的、批判性的哲学/思想路径的基本观点和渊源,前人之述备矣.因此,文章主要着眼于简要介绍较少为人所知的另一条实证路径的历史及其与规范路径的关系.     

Weak ties and contact initiation in everyday life: Exploring contextual variations from contact diaries

This study examines how the significance of weak ties varies by contact initiation and purposes of contact in everyday life. Based on data from 55 contact diaries, we analyze the extent to which diary keepers judge each of 104,361 specific contacts as beneficial after they occur, by how well they knew the target person beforehand. Our hypothesis testing and bootstrap resampling show that when a diary keeper initiates a contact, weak ties result in more gains. In contrast, when the other party starts the contact, it is strong rather than weak ties that turn out to be more beneficial to the diary keeper. Such effects vary by other contextual factors, however, particularly the purposes of contacts.     

Integrated Group Program for Improving Sleep Quality of Elderly People

ABSTRACT

This article reports an exploratory study on the effects of an integrated group program for improving the sleep quality of elderly people in Hong Kong. Elderly people aged over 55 who had obtained a Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score >5 were recruited as subjects of the study. While 19 subjects of the treatment group were taking part in an integrated group program involving social group work intervention as well as Chinese medicine therapeutics, 9 subjects of comparison group received no intervention. Using a pretest and posttest design, the study revealed positive effects of the integrated group program. It has added knowledge serving the development of interventions that can help to improve the sleep quality of elderly people.     

Parents' psychological self-concepts and children issues in low-income families in Singapore

Drawing on data from a survey of 430 families who were recipients of a government financial assistance scheme, the study found that different types of children issues affected different types of psychological self-concepts experienced by the sample of low-income parents. While parents' sense of self-efficacy was decreased by children's poor grades, parenting stress was aggravated by both children's health and behaviour problems. The effects were stronger for parents with teenage children than parents with younger children. The findings imply the importance of better integration of services to meet the different needs of low-income families, and of a supportive manner of providing assistance.     

Studies on Women's Sexuality in China since 1980: A Critical Review

Over the last 20 years, women's sexuality has become one of the most written about and intensely debated subjects in sexology, sociology, and women's studies in mainland China. From these studies, one can trace the development of academic discourse on women's sexuality through three distinct phases: from a predominantly medical discourse, to the use of survey methods to investigate women's real experiences, and finally to a phase in which Western theories have become increasingly influential. Each phase features a distinct stereotype of woman. The implications of this review for sexual research in China will also be discussed.     

Managing aging men in Asia: a strategic approach

We have established a comprehensive diagnostic paradigm for the management of aging men which seeks to evaluate the various determinants of the aging process in five major health areas: cardio-health, bone health, sex health, general health and endocrine state. This paradigm appears to be useful for the management of the problem of aging in our local population. It could be used for the management of individuals as well as for population research. When combined with the establishment of evidence-based management modalities, it will provide a useful tool for the holistic management of aging in Asia.
