董仲舒以"独尊儒术"为特征的道德教化思想探析

董仲舒是我国西汉时期著名的政治家、思想家.他在道德教化方面,以"独尊儒术"为基本指导原则,在对人"性"作深入研讨的基础上,提出"性待教而善"的重要观点,主张"任德教而不任刑",强调设"教化堤防",用儒家的"三纲五常"之说教化百姓.与此相一致,他创造性地提出了"显德以示民"等道德教育方法.从总体上看,董仲舒的道德学说既有值得继承的合理因素,亦有需要剔除的封建杂质,应当认真予以清理.     

Pivot or Periphery? Xinjiang's Regional Development

Owen Lattimore once depicted Xinjiang as the "pivot of Asia." As the nexus of the Silk Road, Xinjiang played a critical role in East-West exchanges. Subsequently, Xinjiang's pivotalness was amplified by great power rivalry. The emergence of new Central Asian states and China's economic reforms lead to greater interactions between Xinjiang and Central Asia. The author argues that Lattimore's depiction of Xinjiang is borne out not only in terms of politics and security, but also in terms of economics and trade. At the dawn of the new millennium, Xinjiang is sitting at the crossroads of a spatial and temporal pivot. As the forces of regional development, geoculture, and geopolitics converge in Inner Asia, Xinjiang's future can go either way: move away from the periphery and become a positive pivot in the economy, or fall prey to ethno-religious and geopolitical struggle and turn into a negative pivot.

功能性价值和象征性价值对品牌忠诚的影响:性别差异和品牌差异的调节作用

根据品牌资产、品牌关系和目标理论,本文从理论上阐释了价值作为品牌忠诚直接前置变量的作用,功能性、象征性价值对品牌忠诚的影响在实证研究中得到支持,而且这种影响存在非线性的特征.本研究进一步考察了性别差异和品牌差异对上述影响的调节作用,结果表明:(1)象征性价值对品牌忠诚的影响存在性别差异,其作用女性强于男性;(2)随着品牌差异的提高,功能性、象征性价值对品牌忠诚的影响增强.     

Regression Analysis of Left-truncated and Case I Interval-censored Data with the Additive Hazards Model

In recent years the analysis of interval-censored failure time data has attracted a great deal of attention and such data arise in many fields including demographical studies, economic and financial studies, epidemiological studies, social sciences, and tumorigenicity experiments. This is especially the case in medical studies such as clinical trials. In this article, we discuss regression analysis of one type of such data, Case I interval-censored data, in the presence of left-truncation. For the problem, the additive hazards model is employed and the maximum likelihood method is applied for estimations of unknown parameters. In particular, we adopt the sieve estimation approach that approximates the baseline cumulative hazard function by linear functions. The resulting estimates of regression parameters are shown to be consistent and efficient and have an asymptotic normal distribution. An illustrative example is provided.
