Adolescents' Satisfaction with Contact in Adoption

The current investigation drew from the second wave of data collected from the Minnesota-Texas Adoption Research Project (MTARP). Adolescents involved in adoptive arrangements in which there is contact with birth parents were compared to adolescents who do not have contact with their birth parents in terms of satisfaction with adoption openness. ANOVA results indicated that adolescents who have contact with their birthmothers maintain higher satisfaction with contact status than those who do not have contact. No effects for gender or age were noted. In terms of contact with birthfathers, adolescents with contact maintained higher satisfaction with contact status than those who do not have contact. Significant effects for age were also noted, insofar as satisfaction with contact increases with age. Implications of these findings for adoption professionals are put forth, as well as directions for further research.

中国西部区域物流能力的灰色聚类分析

对不同区域的物流能力进行聚类分析,能使各区域客观地认识自身的物流能力现状以及相互间的差异,从而采取有效措施来提高其物流能力。将区域物流能力系统看作是灰色系统,运用灰色聚类分析方法对中国西部12省区的物流能力进行了客观综合评价,得到了灰色聚类评价结果,并依据这些省区物流业的发展现状印证了聚类结果的合理性。研究表明,灰色聚类方法计算简便,结果客观,在区域物流能力综合评价中具有较好的可操作性和实用价值。     

Family Therapy for a Korean Son with Schizophrenia

In recent decades the treatment of schizophrenia has focused primarily on pharmacotherapy with an emphasis on respite for family caregivers, support groups, and compliance regimens to sustain and maintain the affected client and family members. The use of family therapy models to intervene effectively with families affected by a diagnosis of schizophrenia is less common in the professional literature. This case study draws on the Mental Research Institute's communication theory and Bowen Family Systems Theory in therapeutic work with a Korean family.

周末效应作为一种各国证券市场共有的市场异例现象 ,在EMH的研究中具较重要的研究价值和地位 ,受到西方学术界的广泛关注和探讨。本文以标准的随机游走模型为基础 ,利用沪深股票市场近十年的历史数据 ,对中国证券市场是否存在“周末效应”进行实证检验和分析 ,并据此对中国证券市场是否达到弱式有效性提出自己的看法     

Ordinal Measures of Association and Forms of Hypotheses*

This paper suggests a new way of applying “Proportional-Reductions-in-Error” related measures (i.e., Gamma, d_yx, d_xy, and Kendall's Tau's) to link logical forms of hypotheses types of ordinal measures of association. First, the basic form of associations for ordinal data are examined. Second, the analytical properties of “P-R-E” related measures are investigated. Finally, it is proposed that “P-R-E” related measures be used in testing the logical form of the relationship between variables implied in a hypothesis.

区域低碳物流能力协调发展水平测度研究

对区域低碳物流能力协调发展水平进行测度,可以很好地分析区域低碳物流能力内部各子系统的发展状态及子系统间的相互作用状况,为促进区域低碳物流能力的良性发展提供决策支持.首先将区域低碳物流能力复合系统作为研究对象,运用协同学理论,构建了以基础设施支撑能力、信息系统保障能力、经营管理运作能力、低碳生态发展能力为要素的序参量指标体系,建立了子系统有序度和复合系统协调度测度模型;然后用四川省2005—2017年的历史数据进行实证研究,计算出各子系统的有序度以及复合系统的协调度,结果显示四川省低碳物流能力系统在2005—2010年发展是不协调的,并且不协调程度在不断增大,但从2011年开始进入了协调发展状态且协调发展水平逐年提高;最后依据这些年四川省低碳物流能力的发展情况分析了计算结果的合理性.
