国际社会打击索马里海盗的法律分析

为维护国际海运安全,国际社会纷纷派出军舰赴索马里海域参加打击海盗的行动。这一行动的国际法依据是联合国安理会的授权、海洋法公约的相关规定和索马里过渡政府的同意,且三个因素相互关联。同时打击海盗的行动应受到相关国际法的约束,包括履行尊重沿岸国主权的义务、遵守人道主义法则的义务和因国际不法行为造成损失的赔偿责任。     

“双师型”人才培养模式的构建与实践

“双师型”人才是师范院校培养的具有教师资格和能力又具备相关专业知识技能的应用型人才。笔者就“双师型”教师的建设培养途径、素质要求提出了看法。基于社会对专业“双师型”人才需求发展的需求,结合河北科技师范学院教学实践,指出了“双师型”人才培养模式的目标内涵,提出了“双师型”人才培养“主修＋辅修”、“理论＋技能”、“国内＋国外”、“校内教育＋校外教育”、“学年学分制＋完全学分制”为主体的人才培养模式。对“双师型”人才培养模式的教学体系建设也进行了探讨。

正文化是人类智慧的结晶,我们应该尊重和珍惜每一种文化。孟凡行(以下简称孟):色音老师,首先我对您在百忙之中专门抽出时间接受我的访谈表示感谢。我们知道,二十几年来,您一直在文化人类学、民俗学领域勤奋耕耘,取得了不菲的成就,引起了学界的瞩目。您学术基础宽厚、视野开阔、涉猎多门,在文化人类学、民俗学、宗教学、文化遗产学等领域都提出了一些颇具创新意义的见解。     

A clarifying comparison of methods for controlling the false discovery rate

Traditional multiple hypothesis testing procedures fix an error rate and determine the corresponding rejection region. In 2002 Storey proposed a fixed rejection region procedure and showed numerically that it can gain more power than the fixed error rate procedure of Benjamini and Hochberg while controlling the same false discovery rate (FDR). In this paper it is proved that when the number of alternatives is small compared to the total number of hypotheses, Storey's method can be less powerful than that of Benjamini and Hochberg. Moreover, the two procedures are compared by setting them to produce the same FDR. The difference in power between Storey's procedure and that of Benjamini and Hochberg is near zero when the distance between the null and alternative distributions is large, but Benjamini and Hochberg's procedure becomes more powerful as the distance decreases. It is shown that modifying the Benjamini and Hochberg procedure to incorporate an estimate of the proportion of true null hypotheses as proposed by Black gives a procedure with superior power.     

Personal Values as Mitigating Factors in the Link Between Income and Life Satisfaction: Evidence from the European Social Survey

Using data from the first two rounds of the European Social Survey, we examine the link between income, reference income and life satisfaction across Western Europe. We find that whilst there is a strong positive relationship between income and life satisfaction, reference or comparison income exerts a strong negative influence. Interestingly, our results confirm the importance of personal values and beliefs not only as predictors of subjective well-being, but also as mitigating factors in the relationship between income, reference income and life satisfaction. While our findings provide additional empirical support for the relative utility hypothesis, they are also consistent with Rojas’ (J Econ Psychol 28:1–14, 2007) Conceptual-Referent-Theory (CRT), which is based on the premise that the salience of income and comparison income depends on one’s intrinsic values and personal beliefs.

Predicting the recipients of social work support,and its impact on emotional and behavioural problems in early childhood

This paper examines the recipients of social work support in the Millennium Cohort Study. Using panel analysis and fixed effects models, it investigates the factors that lead to the receipt of any type of social work support for individuals with young children and the effects of this support on changes in the prevalence of emotional and behavioural problems in these children. We find that divorce or separation, and episodes of homelessness are two important factors that lead to the receipt of social work support. Mothers with male children are also more likely to receive social work support. However, we find no clear evidence that social work support has any effect on changes in children's emotional and behavioural problems over time. The implications of these findings for social work research and for practice and policy are discussed.

普通高校体育选项课之分层教学与目标教学的有机整合

根据普通高校体育选项课教学大纲的要求,对分层教学组织形式和目标教学法进行了系统研究,认为二者的有机整合可以有效提高普通高校体育教学的效果。分层教学与目标教学有机整合是分层制订分别适合不同高校大学生的教学目标和考核目标,因材施教,因需指导,因层评价和动态组合等,是帮助学生提高体育学习效果的较好方法,能够让学生最大限度地发挥自身潜力,从而促进大学生身心健康的发展,并帮助他们养成终身体育意识和体育习惯。     

我国现行双语教材建设模式探索与实践——以《机械制造技术基础》为例

大学专业基础课或专业课的双语教学作为中国高等教育面向现代化、面向世界、面向未来发展方针下所倡导的新型教学模式,已经逐步在各高校试行,它对于中国高等教育的全球化发展和培养国际化、高素质的综合性人才具有极显著的积极意义。然而,实施双语教学不仅涉及教师队伍的素质、学生语言能力这两个前提条件,更涉及双语教材的建设。在选择双语教材时,应该把握教材作为知识的载体,应当服务于教学,服务于课程体系建设,服务于人才培养目标的原则,以推动双语教学改革。
