以歌代言的壮族诗性传统的传承主体以丰沛的情感表达对宇宙、天地、山川以及圣灵的崇敬之情,也通过民歌演唱表达喜怒哀乐的情感。壮族歌者心之所系、情之所寄、梦之所萦、魂之所牵和灵之所托,皆同他们的心灵感悟和情感表达密切相关,他们的情感生活实乃壮族诗性传统得以传承与延续的人文根基。因此,作为非物质文化遗产的壮族民歌习俗的保护与传承,应当涵容世世代代壮民族的情感体验和壮阔情怀,通过体悟壮族的情感世界,探索壮族诗性传统的传承,领悟壮族诗性传统的文化内涵和核心精神,感知壮族诗性传统中蕴含的情感表达与心灵寄托的文化智慧,唤醒日趋淡漠的诗性文化记忆,铭记壮族经历过的欢乐与忧伤,重振民族文化的自信心,建立起符合天地人伦本性的人与自然、人与社会、人与人之间的情感体悟与表达机制,凝聚民族复兴的文化源泉。     

Using Ranked Weights and Acceptability Analysis to Construct Composite Indicators: A Case Study of Regional Sustainable Society Index

A variety of published composite indicators, i.e., Energy Trilemma Index and Sustainable Society Index, are commonly aggregated with equal weights. However, this plausible scheme is criticized as eclecticism and ignores the discriminating power of the different indicators. Differing from the traditional methods that assign weights to each indicator for the purpose of aggregation, this paper proposes a new mechanism to construct composite indicators using ranked weights and stochastic multicriteria acceptability analysis. More specifically, this study comprehensively consider all possible preferences among the indicators. Under each preference, we develop a sophisticated mathematical transformation to calculate the least and most favorable scores of each entity, which formulates the lower and upper bounds of the intervals. Then an interval decision matrix, alternatively described as a stochastic decision problem, is formulated to construct the composite indicators. Holistic acceptability indices are generated and regarded as a new composite indicator, which is capable of providing a comprehensive and robust composite indicator with more discriminating power. We apply the proposed method to modify the regional sustainable society index and present the obtained results and comparisons.     

Physical capital taxation and labor income taxation in an endogenous growth model with new generations

This paper examines the growth and welfare effects of physical capital taxation and labor income taxation. It is found that the impact of a rise in the physical capital tax rate on the balanced growth rate is crucially related to the birth rate, but a rise in the labor income tax rate definitely reduces the balanced growth rate regardless of the birth rate. It is also found that an increase in the physical capital income tax rate will harm the older but will benefit the younger, while an increase in the labor income tax rate will benefit the older but will harm the younger.

长期以来,人们习惯于在"理论理性"的层面上理解辩证法的本性、主题与功能.自康德以来,这种意义上的辩证法遭遇到严峻挑战.从实践理性的层面重新阐释辩证法,巳成为深化辩证法研究所面临的重大任务.立足于现代社会生活实践,个人"主观性视角的有限性"与社会生活"他人视角的无限性,,之间所存在的矛盾,为辩证法克服理论理性层面辩证法的抽象性和虚幻性,实现从理论理性向实践理性的转向提供了重要的生长点和问题意识,在承认"理性多元论事实"的前提下,通过"对话"、"宽容"与"相互承认",来寻求这一矛盾的克服,实现社会的团结与社会的统一性.这构成了作为实践理性的辩证法的核心内容.     

Administrative Buy-in for User Participation in Managing Social Services

Abstract

This paper reports the findings of a study conducted in Hong Kong on the value position of the social service providers regarding user participation in service management. Using a survey instrument to collect data from 642 service providers in an elderly service organization, the study explored whether or not the value position had an effect on the views of the service providers on the structural set-up for user participation, and whether the value position of the professional staff was significantly different from that of the non-professional staff. Exploratory factor analyses (EFA), confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) were applied in the analysis. The findings identify that administrative buy-in needed to support shared decision-making with the welfare service users has not been achieved in the studied organization, owing to the absence of value commitment to the user participation cause. As the professional staff was more supportive of values favoring user participation, the paper calls for an acculturation process that would be stimulated and led by professionals to develop a participatory culture. The paper also recommends conducting similar study on a larger scale and qualitative inquiry into factors influencing the formation of values about user participation in future research.     

Formal Social Participation and Utilization of Community-based Services among Urban Elderly Chinese Living Alone in Shanghai,China

This research examined formal social participation among elderly Chinese adults living alone and the association between utilization of community-based services and formal social participation, which refers to participation in employment, volunteer jobs, and social groups. Using a secondary analysis on a survey data from a simple random sample of 228 adults aged 60 and older living alone in a Shanghai neighborhood, it was found that only small percentage of older adults living alone were involved in formal social participation. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed that use of community-based services is significantly associated with formal social participation among elderly Chinese living alone. Thus, future policies and programs should focus on strengthening community-based services for elderly Chinese, to more effectively promote and facilitate their social participation.
