自然的"魅":是"祛"还是"返"?——一种新的视角

人类生存和不断发展的过程,也是不断对自然祛魅的过程,而人类的价值关怀与取向往往与世界的神秘感和人类对它的敬畏感有关。如何解决这对矛盾,使科学知识在为这个世界祛魅并达到人类的目的过程中发挥作用又不至于冲击人类的价值关怀和取向一直是人们关心和思考的话题。从历史的角度分析现代祛魅世界观产生的原因,并力图在它的基础上建构一种新的世界观成了一种不错的理论和实践尝试,而结合建设性后现代主义理论来丰富和发展这种尝试更是可行和合理的。

随着科学技术的发展,基因及基因科技对人类的影响是积极而深刻的,基因是严防流失的国家资源。分析国内外现有的观点和做法,我们认为应制定和完善我国基因知识产权法律保护制度,对基因科技提供专利法律保护,促进基因科技产业的发展,保护我国基因资源,防止流失。

改革开放以来,我国产业内贸易发展迅速,特别是随着我国入世,产业内贸易的比重将会越来越大.试图用产业内贸易理论来解释目前中国产业内贸易发展的原因,结果得出规模经济、不完全竞争等因素对中国产业内贸易没有显著影响;要素禀赋、外商投资是引起产业内贸易的主要因素.     

Sequential Procedure For Fixed Accuracy Estimation of the Population Size in Recapture Sampling

A sequential procedure is constructed to provide a fixed‐accuracy estimator for the number of faults in a system. This paper focuses on the case when faults are homogeneous. However, the method can be adapted to other models by choosing a more robust estimator. The accuracy of the estimator depends on the failure intensity, the length of testing period and the total number of faults in the system. Simulations illustrate the performance of the proposed procedure. The method is applied to an information system failure dataset.     

对我国存款准备金率调整及其存在问题的分析

近年来,由于外汇占款大量增加,经济和货币信贷增长较快,中央银行连续调高了存款准备金率。但从存款准备金工具运用的国际经验看,由于该工具存在诸多固有缺陷,目前已逐渐淡出历史舞台。从国内货币政策实践看,存款准备金率在运用过程中也存在诸多问题和不足,过高的存款准备水平无法解决中国经济中的突出矛盾和结构性问题,政府应更有针对性的采用其他政策工具调节经济中存在的问题。     

Three-step estimation in linear mixed models with skew-t distributions

Linear mixed models based on the normality assumption are widely used in health related studies. Although the normality assumption leads to simple, mathematically tractable, and powerful tests, violation of the assumption may easily invalidate the statistical inference. Transformation of variables is sometimes used to make normality approximately true. In this paper we consider another approach by replacing the normal distributions in linear mixed models by skew-t distributions, which account for skewness and heavy tails for both the random effects and the errors. The full likelihood-based estimator is often difficult to use, but a 3-step estimation procedure is proposed, followed by an application to the analysis of deglutition apnea duration in normal swallows. The example shows that skew-t models often entail more reliable inference than Gaussian models for the skewed data.
