城市生态演替的等级缀块动态范式理论与应用   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
城市生态演替问题是典型的时空耦合问题,从景观的角度,应用等级缀块动态范式去认识城市生态演替,可以使人们能够从新的角度加深对城市生态演替现象的理解,并为多学科的整合提供一个新的理论框架。本文介绍了等级缀块动态范式的基本内容,并利用等级缀块动态范式对城市生态演替动力机制、演替的模式、演替的稳定性机制、演替的途径和方向等基本理论问题进行了系统分析。在总结我国大都市、资源型城市、小城镇等典型城市生态演替规律的基础上,指出了等级缀块动态范式的缺陷和不足,探讨了城市生态演替理论研究的发展方向。  相似文献

Although scholars have studied outside executive succession for decades, there is still no clear definition of the term outsider. We focus on a new dimension of outsiderness, the industrial background of executives hired from outside the firm into a CEO position. This paper examines the antecedents of boards' decisions on the industry origin of outside successors as well as the short-term stock market response. We find that firms with more independent boards and with blockholders owning large amounts of stock are more likely to hire industry unrelated successors. However, the board's decision does not strictly follow the rhetoric of stockholder's interests. The stock market reacts more positively to outside CEO succession announcements when the CEO comes from an industry related firm. These findings support our theoretical arguments that the boards of directors may use a logic or rule of appropriateness in deciding the industrial origin of outside successors.  相似文献

During a crisis the corporate message is not the only issue facing the company. The role of the spokesperson is an under-researched area which is examined in this paper. In studies conducted in South Korea and China we examine the reaction of consumers to the CEO as a spokesperson during a product harm crisis. We find in both countries that consumer responses to the CEO was contingent on the consumers' level of power distance. When consumers had high levels of power distance they had higher future purchase intentions when compared with consumers who had low levels of power distance when the CEO was the spokesperson during the crisis. In addition, in a study conducted in South Korea we find that higher levels of power distance generate increased levels of brand trust when the CEO is the spokesperson, which in turn increases future purchase intentions. Our studies have important theoretical and managerial implications which are discussed in the paper.  相似文献

This study examined the effect of personal public relations developed through Twitter on cognitive and attitudinal aspects, particularly focusing on the use of Twitter by CEOs. According to the responses of young consumers who participated in this study, their attitudes toward the use of Twitter by CEOs positively influenced their perception of transformational leadership (H1). Further, perceived transformational leadership was positively associated with attitudes toward CEOs using Twitter; this in turn positively influenced attitudes toward corporations (H2). The positive evaluation of the use of Twitter by CEOs directly influenced attitudes toward such CEOs (H3), whereas attitudes toward such use did not influence attitudes toward corporations. The results indicated that microblogging is beneficial for the development of effective personal public relations by corporate leaders.  相似文献

Collective memory and narratives of local history shape the ways people imagine a neighborhood's present situation and future development, processes that reflect tensions related to identity and struggles over resources. Using an urban culturalist lens and a focus on collective representations of place, I compare two nearby New York parks to uncover why, despite many similarities, they support different patterns of meaning making and use. Drawing on ethnographic observation, interviews, and secondary analysis, I show that multi‐vocal and fragmented contexts of collective memory help explain the uneven nature of gentrification processes, with one park serving as its cultural fulcrum while the other is left at the sidelines.  相似文献

The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore women’s ascension to leadership positions. Two women CEOs were interviewed for this study. The literature on women leadership shows that many women might not be attaining CEO positions because of a lack of mentors, leadership-career aspirations, and experience, gender inequality, and companies’ preference for leadership styles based on masculine characteristics. The literature shows these factors affect women’s ascension to such leadership positions. This study found that women fall under the masculine leadership styles, even though their preferences differ. Furthermore, gender inequality seemed to be tied to age discrimination as well. The article concludes with an examination of nuances concerning gender inequality as it relates to leadership ascension, that is, the minute micro-aggressive messages that might be perceived as part of the culture. Furthermore, the implication that women need more mentors to prepare them for leadership roles is examined. This implication holds further ramifications as leadership approaches play roles in empowering or disempowering women.  相似文献

IPO业绩变脸已被证实在我国普遍存在。文章以2014—2016年在创业板IPO上市的有风险投资参与的企业为样本,研究风险投资参与程度对IPO业绩变脸的影响,同时探究CEO特征对这两者关系的调节作用。研究发现:风险投资参与程度越深,即联合风险投资、风险投资持股比例越高的企业,IPO业绩变脸幅度越小;CEO特征对风险投资持股比例与IPO业绩变脸的关系有显著的调节作用,CEO年龄、学历弱化了风险投资持股比例,对企业IPO业绩变脸现象有改善作用,CEO有金融背景能加强风险投资持股比例,对企业IPO业绩变脸现象有改善作用。文章为改善我国IPO业绩变脸现象、规范风险投资的发展和选拔任用合适的CEO提供了经验借鉴。  相似文献
