金工艺术与民族特质——考证大理白族金工艺术的历史与文化渊源

白族金工艺术植根于云南,既受地缘条件的影响而自成体系,又因外族文化的不断涌入而变得多样。今天的大理白族金工形成了国际化的产业规模,这与其自身善于借鉴、精于钻研、乐于大同的民族性格有着莫大关联,本文通过分析案例探讨该现象的成因。     

中国智慧与西方的进步

东方在公元500到1800年这一历史时期远比西方发达。东方在西方现代文明的兴起过程中起着举足轻重的作用。东方影响的来源主要是中国。具有儒道精神传统的民族正不断建立生产和技术上的国际标准,而英美民族似乎无法再与之竞争。如果西方毫不理解东方文明的深邃和博大,那么,当东方的民族从西方的扩张和侵入所带来的震惊和破坏中苏醒过来时,西方就会变得脆弱和不堪一击。西方的方式跟中国的方式相比,存在更大的局限性。西方文明的未来出路在东方。

海外中国社会思想研究——中国社会思想的一个解释框架

中国社会思想研究历来可以分为两条路径,其一是中国学者长期以来的对自身的关注和内部的理论自觉,这方面的研究相当众多;第二条路径是海外的中国社会思想研究,即从置身于中国社会思想的外部来建构中国的社会思想结构,两条研究路径互相补充。该文试图论述海外的中国社会思想研究学术轨迹特征,特别是将海外中国社会思想研究置于宏大的社会理论框架分析与日常生活话语中去,尝试发现一种新的解释框架。     

洛阳方言的方位和时间后缀

洛阳方言中有而普通话没有的方位后缀有20个、普通话里有而洛阳方言中没有的方位后缀有4个、洛阳方言与普通话都有的方位后缀有7个(包含零形式后缀);洛阳方言中有而普通话没有的时间后缀有7个、洛阳话和普通话里都有的时间后缀有6个(包含零形式后缀)。总体上讲,洛阳方言与普通话在方位和时间后缀的使用方面既有共性又有差别,差别大于共性。

中国妇女运动的鲜明特点，是在中国妇女运动的长期实践中形成的，是中国妇女事业发展的优良传统和基本经验。在新的历史条件下，中国妇女运动特点的内涵和表现形式发生了深刻变化，从“阶级斗争”到“社会性别”，从“领袖权威”到“国家机制”，从“推翻绳锁”到“和谐共建”。探析转变的原因与影响，以益于依靠提高妇女地位国家机制，推进构建先进性别文化，遵循妇女发展的内在规律，共同建立“和谐伙伴关系”。     

也谈简体字

在政治更迭、文化变迁的大叙事中，小小的文字变化最能体现大时代的风貌。古有始皇帝威权下的“书同文”，今有上世纪五十年代初旨在“汉字拉丁化”的“文字简化运动”。简化字与繁体字争议的背后，是政治激进主义与文化保守主义的思想交锋，或者说是中华历史文化断裂与传承的别一选择。周清泉先生关于“汉字简化方案”实施中的管见，因于当时话语权被肆意剥夺而无处表达，本刊编发该文，一是提供关于汉字简化的反思与总结，二是彰显学人发表独立见解的历史进步。     

Gendering Global Governance

In this article I map out the major debates on global governance and the feminist critiques of the mainstream interventions in these debates. I argue that the shift from government to governance is a response to the needs of a gendered global capitalist economy and is shaped by struggles, both discursive and material, against the unfolding consequences of globalization. I suggest feminist interrogations of the concept, processes, practices and mechanisms of governance and the insights that develop from them should be centrally incorporated into critical revisionist and radical discourses of and against the concept of global governance. However, I also examine the challenges that the concept of global governance poses for feminist political practice, which are both of scholarship and of activism as feminists struggle to address the possibilities and politics of alternatives to the current regimes of governance. I conclude by suggesting that feminist political practice needs to focus on the politics of redistribution in the context of global governance.     

留日学生日本就业问题初探

留日中国学生在日本就业数位居外国留学生日本就业数之首。然而,其就业概况却不甚明了。依据日本法务省入国管理局公布的资料,挖掘出有关中国的数据,在理清留日学生的就业签证类别、就职行业、月薪报酬、就业区域及就职企业规模等基本现状的基础上,分析了就业后经济利益、职业经验、技能等全方位收益情况及工作中面临的棘手问题,以期今后对留日学生就业及中国学生的日本留学选择提供一点借鉴。     

Queer-friendly nation? The experience of Chinese gay immigrants in Canada

In the past decade, the People’s Republic of China has become the leading source country of immigrants to Canada. However, little is known about the experience of Chinese gay immigrants in Canada. Using narratives collected through a qualitative study, we show the way in which Chinese gay men construct their experience of immigration in Canada. Unlike the national discourse that claims Canada is a friendly nation for members of the LGBTTQ community, the experiences of Chinese gay immigration present a different story. As racialised gay men, they continue to be subjected to social violence in Canada – albeit differently from what they experienced in China. The analysis demonstrates the complexity of social marginalisation experienced by these men, the understanding of which is essential for social workers to engage in practice with them that is socially transformative.
