上司示意型知识隐藏的双刃剑效应及其边界条件研究

基于压力认知评价理论,构建了有调节的中介模型以探讨上司示意型知识隐藏影响下属知识隐藏的二元效应及其边界条件。基于两个时间点的团队成员配对数据,采用路径分析对假设模型进行检验。研究结果表明:上司示意型知识隐藏一方面会诱发道德推脱,从而促进下属知识隐藏;一方面也会唤醒关系经营,从而抑制下属知识隐藏;且两种效应与道德认同和权力距离导向的联合调节作用相关。     

Distance measures in a one-parameter class of density functions

In a class of density functions with parameter λ > 0 , which includes Weibull and Gamma distributions, three distance measures are examined. Several properties of these measures and relationships between them are proved. Furthermore the exponential distribution is characterized in a one- parameter class of Weibull distributions.     

浅谈超越技术层面的社交软件在学习中的运用

社交软件的出现似乎正在给教育领域带来一场革命,社交软件在教育中的运用也成了研究的热点。然而,如果我们的研究只是停留在技术层面,这些新技术对教育的潜在促进作用就难以得到充分的发挥,如果这些技术所带来的＂新自由＂能与学校教育＂和谐相处＂,让它们既发挥学习的作用,就必须有一些规范的使用标准。本文围绕如何从教学法的角度说明发挥社交软件在教育中的作用的文章,并阐述对我国远程教育的启示。     

Influence and residuals in restricte generalized linear models

A particular influence measure for restricted regression models is reviewed in this paper. We give em- phasis on establishing regularity conditions to apply the proposed influence measure in restricted gen- eralized linear models. The development of conditional residuals is also discussed. In particular, a sim- ulation study was conducted in order to compare the distributions of the proposed residuals for various generalized linear models. Finally, an application is given.     

Physical Distance Between Romantic Partners as a Marker for Attachment in Couples: A Proof of Concept Study

Proximity seeking is at the core of attachment theory. Previously proximity has been studied almost exclusively in psychological terms. In clinical practice, however, couple therapists may interpret physical distance between romantic partners as a marker for the quality of the attachment bond. Unfortunately, this concept of physical distance between partners as an expression of attachment has never been tested. This study examines whether physical distance between romantic partners is associated with attachment. In 53 students and 43 clinical couples physical distance was repeatedly measured from video using novel software with excellent reliability. Attachment was measured with the Experiences in Close Relationships questionnaire. It was found that male attachment anxiety about rejection repeatedly showed statistically significant associations with physical interpersonal distance in student and clinical couples. We conclude that attachment may manifest itself not only in terms of psychological intimacy but also in terms of physical distance. Clinical utility and research implications are discussed.     

SOME REMARKS ON THE INFORMATION GEOMETRY OF THE GAMMA DISTRIBUTION

ABSTRACT

Bounds for the Fisher information metric associated with the Gamma statistical model are found in terms of Poincaré type metric. This results in the determination of bounds for the Rao distance, that is the Riemannian distance induced by the information metric, between Gamma distributions, and of bounds for the Gaussian curvature of the Gamma model. The bounds seem to be sharp, where the lower and upper Rao distance bounds are Poincaré distances with Gaussian curvatures ?1/4 and ?1/2, respectively. In addition, the sign of the Gaussian curvature of the Gamma model is shown to be negative which means, in particular, that the geometry of the model is hyperbolic.     

Influential observations in transformations: A bayesian approach

This paper presents a bayesian approach to the problem of detecting influential observations when estimating the Box-Cox transformation. The influence of a group I={i₁, …,i_n} of observations is measured by means of the Kullback-Leibler distance between the marginal posterior; distributions for the transformation parameter which are computed, respectively, without and with the cases indexed by I. A measure is proposed and its properties and relationship to other diagnostic methods are studied.     

Facilitating Online Learning Communities: A Comparison of Two Discussion Facilitation Techniques

ABSTRACT

The advent of the twenty-first century has brought a proliferation of web-based courses in higher education. While prior studies have examined the comparability of online and traditional courses, a better understanding of effective pedagogical strategies to enhance online learning is needed. This study compared two distinct approaches to facilitating discussions in relation to participation rates, interaction patterns, depth of cognitive processing, and learning outcomes in two sections of an online course. Significant differences were found between sections (N = 41) in the frequency and types of interaction among students as well as in learning outcomes.     

A distance based regression model for prediction with mixed data

A multiple regression method based on distance analysis and metric scaling is proposed and studied. This method allow us to predict a continuous response variable from several explanatory variables, is compatible with the general linear model and is found to be useful when the predictor variables are both continuous and categorical. Real data examples are given to illustrate the results obtained.     

Estimation and selection procedures in regression: An L1 approach

The authors consider the problem of estimating a regression function go involving several variables by the closest functional element of a prescribed class _G that is closest to it in the L₁ norm. They propose a new estimator ? based on independent observations and give explicit finite sample bounds for the L₁distance between ?g and go. They apply their estimation procedure to the problem of selecting the smoothing parameter in nonparametric regression.
