试析个体社会心理学的理论特点

个体社会心理学在发展过程中取得了巨大的成就 ,但随着时间的流逝 ,个体社会心理学显现出它的弊端 ,偏离了现实社会。其中的原因很多 ,但主要是其本身的理论特点造成的。其最大的特点就是试图以个体的心理行为来解释社会行为 ,过分关注个体及个体间的内部过程 ,忽视了社会环境的作用。

公共权力的本质就是互利,国家权力则是对它不同程度的异化。在国家权力向公共权力的回归过程中,所耗费的社会资源具有显著的特性。随着个体所有权的确立以及不同自利力量之间的制衡,国家权力终将完成向体现互利的公共权力的回归。     

公司治理、组织二元性与企业长短期绩效——-基于中美两国上市公司面板数据的实证研究

美国样本中公司治理的监督和激励对探索和利用的平衡效应有促进作用,中国样本中激励对平衡效应有正向作用,但监督却有负向作用,即监督越高,探索和利用越不平衡。中美两国的监督和激励对结合效应的作用都不明显|在美国,探索行为和利用行为的平衡效应和乘积效应都正向影响长短期绩效,而在中国,探索行为和利用行为的平衡效应正向影响长短期绩效,但乘积效应只影响短期绩效而对长期绩效没有影响。探索和利用的平衡效应在公司治理和长短期绩效之间的中介作用部分得到验证,而两者结合效应的中介作用没有得到验证。研究结论拓展了关于组织二元性前因的研究,同时也提供了中美公司行为差异的对比分析。     

Reconciling Local with Global: New Zealand Muslim Women Articulating Faith in their Lives

This article explores the dynamics of personalised faith in the lives of minority and migrant Muslim women. Research that localises women's understandings of faith contrasts with the considerable literature that focuses on the transnational, politicised character of religion, as well as the discourses that examine religion as a form of gendered patriarchy. This article is a contribution to research that approaches gender and religion from a localised perspective. Drawing on the notion of ‘third space’, this discussion provides ethnographic narratives of Muslim women in New Zealand, focusing on four specific women. Each woman's story illustrates the significance of faith in her life, and demonstrates the unique, and interactive, ways that faith creates new meanings and interpretive possibilities in local contexts, as well as providing emotional solace and a source of coping with wider life stresses.     

Increasing the Economic Self-Sufficiency of Rural Families

ABSTRACT

Rural poverty affects 2.5 million U.S. children annually. The implementation of Child/Parent Individual Development Account (IDA) policies and programs may reflect a “best practices” strategy for reducing the incidence and impact of rural poverty. IDAs are dedicated savings accounts designed to help low-income individuals save for home ownership, postsecondary education, and small business development purposes. A brief policy analysis and feasibility study indicates Child/Parent IDA programs are a feasible way to address long-term social, psychological, and economic development for rural adults and children. Social work's continued involvement in evaluating IDA policy is paramount for improving the well-being of rural families.     

What Changes MSW Students' View on the Mission of Social Work?

Little is known about how professional social work education affects students' view on the social work mission. Using a secondary analysis of larger longitudinal data collected from masters in social work (MSW) students in California, USA, this study sought to explore the relationship among the students' demographic characteristics, their primary reasons for pursuing an MSW degree, and their view on the mission of social work at the time of entering an MSW program, whether the students' view on the mission of social work changed in the course of an MSW education, and factors contributing to a change of MSW students' view on the social work mission—individual adaptation vs societal change—between the beginning and the end of the MSW program. The results showed that students' degree of social action involvement, type of field practicum, and ideological variables predicted students' view changes or adherence between entering the MSW program and graduating.

Effects of an Individual Development Account Program on Retirement Saving: Follow-up Evidence From a Randomized Experiment

We examine the 10-year follow-up effects on retirement saving of an individual development account (IDA) program using data from a randomized experiment that ran from 1998 to 2003 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The IDA program included financial education, encouragement to save, and matching funds for several qualified uses of the saving, including contributions to retirement accounts. The results indicate that as of 2009, 6 years after the program ended, the IDA program had no impact on the propensity to hold a retirement account, the account balance, or the sufficiency of retirement balances to meet retirement expenses.
