社会学批判与人类学批判的不足——阿Q“精神胜利法”再审视

精神胜利法是阿Q的惟一精神生存方式。封建经济基础是阿Q精神胜利法产生的土壤。目前对精神胜利法在社会文化层面的批判是不彻底的,无法真正解决“国民劣根性”。而人类学脱离具体环境的思考,又给改造精神胜利法的努力涂上了浓重的悲观色彩。

Carbon dioxide emissions and economic growth in the U.S.

The objective of this paper is to analyze the relationship of the carbon Kuznets curve. We discuss two potential flaws in past carbon Kuznets curve studies: one, the potential misspecification of energy consumption as a control variable; and, two, the use of vector error correction models as an empirical specification. Given these potential flaws we estimate a dynamic ordinary least squares model of monthly carbon dioxide emissions, personal income, and energy production in the U.S. from 1981 to 2003. Our results suggest that economic growth drives emissions intensities, not absolute emissions as is often implied in past studies.     

Is WTP an attitudinal measure? Empirical analysis of the psychological explanation for contingent values

Contingent valuation has been given a psychological interpretation, by Kahneman and colleagues, that claims willingness to pay bids represent psychological attitudes rather than personal economic valuations. Evidence reported here shows the need to qualify the role of this attitudinal explanation. In contradiction to the attitudinal hypothesis, the decision to bid zero or positive appears to represent a complex psychological appraisal. Furthermore, evidence of bid clustering on currency denominations implies fundamental differences concerning how people respond to a monetary scale. Whether interpreted as charitable contributions or imprecise welfare estimates there are serious implications for how economists interpret and use stated preference responses.

《阿Q正传》是一部享有国际声誉的作品,但从小说的艺术技巧方面对其进行审视,会发现它存在许多缺陷,具体表现在:第一,古文和生僻词的大量使用;第二,主人公阿Q没有统一的性格;第三,《阿Q正传》呈现的是一个灰冷绝望的世界,里面没有一个好人,也没有一个好的动机。造成这些缺陷的原因在于,它是鲁迅应邀创作的幽默小说,且在创作时,鲁迅正处于较差的精神状态中。     

辅酶Q10对高龄慢性心功能不全的疗效及安全性分析

目的观察辅酶Q10对高龄慢性心功能不全的疗效及安全性。方法 70例高龄慢性心功能不全的患者随机分为治疗组和对照组,对照组给以常规治疗,治疗组在常规治疗基础上联合辅酶Q10,两组疗程均为2个月,治疗前后观察两组血浆脑钠肽（BNP）的水平、心功能改善程度。结果两组BNP均下降,但治疗组BNP水平下降明显高于对照组,治疗组心功能不全改善较对照组更明显,差异有显著性（P〈0.05）,且治疗组不良反应发生率很低。结论辅酶Q10对高龄慢性心功能不全的有很好的疗效及安全性。     

《阿Q正传》与《太平天下》的比较研究

《阿Q正传》和《太平天下》两部作品的主要人物阿Q和尹直员身上存在着一些共性。首先是性格上的固执和荒谬 ;其次是将虚妄当成现实 ,并深陷其中不能自拔 ;再次是都被欲望冲胀头脑 ,且欲望不可实现。从美学意义上讲 ,两个人物都具有喜剧性。两个人物存在的共性 ,是由于作者鲁迅和蔡万植所处社会的社会状态、他们在世界观、美学思想和创作方法等方面的共同特点所决定的     

Commodities and monetary policy: Implications for inflation and price level targeting

We examine the relative ability of inflation targeting and price level targeting monetary policy rules to minimize inflation variability and business cycle fluctuations in a commodity-exporting country for supply and demand shocks to global commodity markets. The macroeconomic consequences of oil and non-oil primary commodities differ and affect the relative merits of the alternative monetary policy frameworks. Particularly, the consumption of refined oil products and demand-driven commodity price movements induce highly persistent inflation pressures resulting in a significant deterioration of the inflation-output gap trade-off available to central banks. When such terms-of-trade shocks are prevalent, price level targeting is inferior to inflation targeting.
