舆论形成的一般过程研究

由于舆论在现代民主社会中地位越来越重要,了解公共舆论形成的一般过程,对政府正确引导舆论、构建和谐社会有着重要的作用。舆论的形成是一个复杂的、动态的过程,大致上包括三个阶段：首先,社会上所发生的特殊事件,或超越、违反社会规范的特殊行为受到关注,从而引发议论,这是舆论的起因;其次,意见在舆论领袖带领下互动与整合,进而在一定群体范围内开始趋同,像无数小溪汇集成几条大的江河;再次,个人的意见、群体的意见在互动、整合、汇集的过程中,受到各权力组织及其领导人和大众传媒的影响,从而进一步形成更大范围的舆论。     

Maximum log-likelihood ratio test for a change in three parameter Weibull distribution

Asymptotic behavior of a log-likelihood ratio statistic for testing a change in a three parameter Weibull distribution is studied. It is shown that if a shape parameter α>2$\alpha >2$ the law of iterated logarithm for maximum-likelihood estimators is still valid and the log-likelihood testing statistic is asymptotically distributed (after an appropriate normalization) according to a Gumbel distribution.

政治社会学的相关理论为理解党的执政能力建设提供了较强解释力的分析视角,特别是对当前基层政府领导干部提高执政能力的实践具有指导意义。通过分析宁波市县(市)区领导干部执政能力培养工作,提出了提升领导干部巩固执政基础能力、培养执政素质和提升治理能力等执政能力培养的新理念和新思路,在对领导干部执政能力建设的方向和基础等具有普遍性的问题进行进一步探究的基础上,形成了创新领导干部执政能力培养途径和方法的新对策。     

我国高水平行业特色型大学一流学科建设的思考——世界学科排名的研究与启示

通过分析THE、QS、U.S.News和软科“四大世界学科排名”指标体系，发现世界学科排名指标体系具有共性特征：在指标内涵上强调论文产出，突出高影响力；在权重分配上强调学科分类，突出学科差异化；在评价形式上强调主观评价与客观评价相结合；在最新动向上强调国际交流与合作。在明确国际学科评价关注点的基础上，考察我国高水平行业特色大学在软科世界学科排名中的表现，结果发现：上榜总量较多且逐年上升，但名次分布靠后；工学领域表现强势，社会科学领域表现欠佳；论文数量与影响力具备竞争实力，但卓越科研、国际化水平相对落后。高水平行业特色大学未来要推进一流学科建设，应在学科发展适度综合化、科研产出注重高质化、学科建设突出国际化、学科评价强调多元化和学科建设遵循本土化等方面进一步下足功夫。     

Leadership behaviour and leader self-reported well-being: A review,integration and meta-analytic examination

ABSTRACT

While the link between leadership and follower well-being is well established, less is known about the relation between leaders’ leadership behaviour and their own well-being. Particularly, a systematic integration of existing studies is missing. Based on an integrated framework summarising major theories on the leader well-being–leadership link, we quantitatively synthesised findings on the relations between different leadership behaviours and leader well-being indicators. The meta-analytical results (95 effect sizes; N?=?12,617) confirmed significant relationships of constructive and destructive leadership with leader well-being in the expected directions. Relative weight analyses on the constructive leadership behaviours showed that change-oriented and relational-oriented leadership (e.g. transformational, participative) accounted for more variance in leader well-being than task-oriented leadership (e.g. transactional). Regarding destructive leadership, active destructive leadership (e.g. abusive supervision) showed stronger negative associations with leader well-being than passive leadership (e.g. laissez-faire). Based on our integrated framework, we proposed and found support for divergent patterns of associations for different forms of well-being (positive vs. negative, short-term vs. long-term, job-related vs. general). Our study demonstrates a considerable linkage between leader well-being and leadership, supporting the adoption of leadership development programmes and organisational health interventions for leaders given their impact on employees, teams and organisations.     

Popular economic narratives advancing the longest U.S. expansion 2009–2019

The U.S. economic expansion since 2009 is the longest on record since 1854, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research Business Cycle Dating Committee. This paper seeks to understand this phenomenon better by looking at the time paths of popular narratives over this interval, of stories that people have been telling that offer clues into their economic behavior. Six constellations of narratives are studied, identified by keywords “Great Depression,” “secular stagnation,” “sustainability,” “housing bubble,” “strong economy,” and “save more.”
