哈军工与哈工大之关系及其他(1952-1954)——以哈尔滨军事工程学院档案为主

1952—1954年,苏联援助新中国创办的第一所高等军事技术学府哈尔滨军事工程学院与20世纪20年代以苏联为主创建的哈尔滨工业大学之间,有着许多鲜为人知的关系。哈尔滨军事工程学院在选择校址、学科建设、师资培养以及学员实习等教学环节,大都是在充分考虑哈尔滨工业大学这一因素的前提下确定的、尤其是陈康白担任哈尔滨工业大学校长期间,在自身师资缺乏的情况下,积极支援哈尔滨军事工程学院的教学和师资队伍建设,为国防科技人才的培养做出了积极的贡献。两校之间这种非同寻常的关系,在很大程度上是由于苏联全面介入新中国高等教育,尤其是国防科技工业领域所致,继而对各自产生十分不同的影响,耐人寻味。     

数字化的哲学局限与美学悖论

对数字化技术的价值探析，需要有人文理性的意义维度，以廓清其与人类预设的文化命意和精神旨趣相协同的可能限度，即数字化技术方式背后的哲学局限与艺术美学悖论。前者表现为数字标准化对事物个性意义体认的限制，数字平面化对事物深度认知复杂性的限制和数字的知识化对意志自由的限制；后者则蕴含了数字虚拟与艺术真实、文学在线与文学性消散、个体中心与主体边缘、精神临场与身体缺席等方面的对立与统一。

我国大学科技园的建设和发展已取得了很好的成绩和经验。地方政府的大力扶持、高等院校的积极参与、配套服务支撑体系的建立都为大学科技园的建设和发展发挥了重要作用。各高校应抢抓机遇,发挥优势,理顺关系,不断创新,加快大学科技园建设和发展的步伐,为我国经济和社会的发展做出更大的贡献。     

Information

Information technology is increasingly being used in the human services, but reports suggest that some professionals are resisting its introduction. Some accounts for this resistance emphasise the role of the technology's physical attributes. It may, however, be due more to mistaken assumptions by some professionals about the role of the technology in generating information in human service contexts. Information as a concept has different interpretations according to its usage. It is the author's contention that there has been a failure to differentiate between the use of the concept in different settings and this is a possible causal factor in producing resistance. This paper examines information as used in communication theory and the human services and emphasises the need for a thorough examination of the role of information in professional social work education and practice.     

Texting among United States young adults: An exploratory study on texting and its use within families

The current study examines general text messaging tendencies, patterns of and reasons for texting family members, and the impact of texting on familial relationships among a young U.S. adult sample. Participants were recruited through Facebook; they then completed an online questionnaire. Data from 127 young adults (men: 38; women: 87; unidentified: 2) are analyzed and compared by gender. Findings suggest that young adults text at high rates per month. Participants generally report a prompt response to texts and their ability to honestly express feelings within these messages. Results also suggest participants text family members for a variety of reasons, such as to convey information, plan activities, and engage in general conversation. Distinct gender differences, however, are evident regarding who men and women text as well as texting's effects on familial relationships. Overall, these findings expand researchers’ understanding of texting in general and its impact within the family.     

企业校园招聘宣讲会问题初探——以华南理工大学为例

企业宣讲会是企业进行校园招聘的“排头兵”，它对于学生了解企业文化、接触企业招聘信息具有极其重要的作用。本文以华南理工大学为例，对其近三年的宣讲会情况进行研究，从而指出宣讲会中存在的问题，并针对性地提出完善企业宣讲会的对策。

介绍了"材料成形技术基础"课程的发展历程,系统分析了教学内容的优化途径,通过"教、学、研"一体化的教学理念,用实例说明围绕该教学理念开展教学工作设计的基本步骤;展示了全方位、多样化的教学手段,着重说明"与校外企业合作开展课程教学工作"和注重实践、课内外结合式教学手段的实现过程;最后对采用多层次考核方法提高学生的学习兴趣和学习效率进行了探讨。

Manufacturing management strategies for environmental protection: Toward the environmental upgrading of management and manufacturing systems to cope with environmental laws

Recent environmental problems have been caused by business activities and a lifestyle based on mass production, mass consumption and mass disposal. These problems have also become global in scale. Increasingly, global efforts are being applied to preserve and improve the environment. NEC, a worldwide electronics manufacturer, created its own environment action plan called Eco-Action 21. This is a continuously evolving plan applied throughout the NEC group and subsidiaries. Globally, 34 NEC manufacturing sites have received ISO 14001 certification. NEC Tohoku in Japan and NEC Ireland obtained BS 7750 certification even before this. NEC improves subcontractors' environmental behaviour with our accumulated expertize and technology derived from our ISO experience and our own development. Input for this paper was not only from NEC Tohoku and the NEC group, but also from outside NEC.     

“Egg Donor Wanted”: Social Work with Women Looking for an Egg Donor

Abstract

Women seeking fertility treatment using donor eggs can face challenges associated with recruiting suitable egg donors and negotiating the role that the donor may play in the life of the child. Social work in infertility clinics is an emerging area of practice and social work counsellors have an important role to play with parties involved in the egg donation process. This paper seeks to raise awareness of social work practice with women seeking egg donors, providing an overview of issues for social work practice. Findings from a small practice research project are also presented to highlight the experiences of women advertising for egg donors and to illustrate an empowerment approach to social work practice with these women. It was found that with the support of the social work counsellor, newspaper advertising can be an effective method to recruit egg donors for fertility treatment that allows women control over the process.
