经后现代理论的启发,身体的情感和欲望被“发现”,身体成为影像艺术生产欲望的核心因素。电影《请以你的名字呼唤我》有意超越性别,淡化戏剧冲突,以身体为媒介,旨在探讨欲望本身。在消费文化的逻辑下,影片将身体进行审美化的包装,侧重呈现身体的视觉效果和观赏价值,并不讳言美丽身体所引发的欲望。电影改变了其他题材影片传达欲望的方式,将身体化为两人之间交流情感的语言,让身体去表达,让身体去说话,肢体动作代替语言成为本片表达爱情的主要方式。电影将身体放在伦理场域中探讨了同性话题所涉及的伦理问题,确证了身体欲望的合法性,传达了爱与宽容。欲望化的身体所彰显的性与情色始终为故事和情感服务。这种表达方式深化了电影的艺术意蕴,拓宽了爱情的边界,探索了同性情感的多元化表达。     

On the arbitrage price of European call options

We show that in a discrete price and discrete time model for option pricing, specifically that given by the Cox–Ross–Rubinstein model, the arbitrage price of a European call option can depend on parameters other than volatility (the standard deviation of the log asset price). We provide two theorems to illustrate this phenomenon. Our first theorem considers two securities with the same volatility so that at a specified time n₀, with probability near 1, the two securities are equal. If their call options differ, both the discounted securities will be martingales. Our second theorem considers two securities with the same volatility so that at times n = 0, ..., N ? 1 the securities are equal with probability near 1. If their call options differ, one of the discounted securities will be a martingale and the other discounted security will be a supermartingale.     

Being independent from whom? Analysing two interpretations in the paradigm of ‘independent living’

Welfare provision for disabled people in Japan has been transformed from a medical model to an independent living model. However, this rhetorical change does not constitute a complete ideological shift. Consequently, the implementation of the independent living notion by Centres for Independent Living is constrained by tight fiscal budget. This paper reviews two interpretations in the paradigm of ‘independent living’, and demonstrates that the incorporation of the new notion of independent living just provides another approach for the government to continue its old agenda of freeing individuals from depending on the state through market-based reform.     

How can community-based health organisations play a role in biohazards? A thematic analysis

ABSTRACT

Health professionals respond to biohazards according to international guidelines. However, concerns over the applicability of guidelines do exist since local conditions, as well as cultural traits of communities, tend to differ. Community-Based Health Organisations (CBHOs) are gatekeepers of communities whose roles and responsibilities have been assessed in this study to learn how they can assist health systems in times of biohazards. We conducted a content analysis among directors of CBHOs and disaster authorities. The participants read a hypothetical scenario, followed by a semi-structured interview. The results showed that more investments should be made to improve the functional roles of CBHOs during biological hazards by filling capacity gaps and take advantage of existing capabilities. Therefore, communities need to direct their efforts in the context of social capitals and leading strategies. As long as the state’ policies and strategies limit the power of communities, the CBHOs will experience social exclusion and equality.

Normal approximation for call function via Stein’s method

A Collateralized dept Obligation (CDO) is a cause of the Hamburger crisis in the USA. We use call function for pricing the CDO. In this paper, we first give uniform and non uniform bounds on normal approximation for the call function without correction term. In this part, we assume that the third and fourth moments of random variables exist, respectively. Second, we present uniform and non uniform bounds on normal approximation for the call function with a correction term under the assumption that the sixth moments of random variables is finite. Our techniques are Stein’s method and the zero bias transformation.     

Changes in Community Organization Practice in Quebec (Canada)

Abstract

This paper examines the changes that occurred in community organization practice in the public establishments of Quebec (Canada) in the 1990s. The results of replicated statistical research show that many changes in community organization practice occurred during this period. Most of these changes can be explained by the socioeconomic crisis that took place in the 1990s that affected part of the middle class, driving the reorganization of public social services organizations and important cuts in the government's budget. In this context of crisis, the government of Quebec more easily accepted the local development strategy to overcome unemployment and poverty. These changes can also be explained by a change in community organizers' perceptions of their profession and their strategy for professional recognition observed in the creation of a professional association.

Telephone triage and midwifery: A scoping review

Background

Midwives use telephone triage to provide advice and support to childbearing women, and to manage access to maternity services. Telephone triage practises are important in the provision of accurate, timely and appropriate health care. Despite this, there has been very little research investigating this area of midwifery practice.
